The ice was still tricky for this female who did not take classes nor make open skate a part of my routine. That was perhaps the only drawback. Because of its more professional feel, some of the people who competed year-round in sports would only talk about where they wanted to compete/what sport they would want to do if they were not doing their current sport, etc. It could be kind of tiring as they tended to forget about the present, fantasizing about the future with those of "their kind" at the party instead of those of us who were focusing on just skating/having fun.

Brought my task trained medical alert SERVICE DOG to the arena and was told she cannot be in there…read more Not only did she have her service animal badge on her tag, but even after telling the worker that she is a service dog he stated that only blind people are allowed to have a service dog in the arena??? We also informed him that she is task trained to bring me my medication. Please see below for my RIGHTS as a disabled persons from the Washington State Human Rights Commission "RCW 49.60.215 prohibits discrimination in a place of public accommodation due to the "use of a trained dog guide or service animal by a disabled person." WAC 162-26-130 requires "fair service in a place of public accommodation regardless of the use of a trained dog guide or service animal by a disabled person as well as because of the disability itself." (Internal quotations omitted.) Service animals must be allowed into all areas of a place of public accommodation where the general public is allowed - this includes dining and eating areas, restrooms, and areas where food is sold. A place of public accommodation cannot request that the service animal be removed unless it creates a risk of harm. This risk must be actual, and cannot be speculative or based on a fear of dogs. In addition, if an animal exhibits disruptive, poor or unsanitary behavior, it would not be considered a trained service animal, and can be removed." Once I buy the season pass, why do they still make me get a wristband and wait in a long line? Some staff told me to bypass the line, others said I still needed the wristband, and some even said I had to stand in the same line just to get the wristband. Also, like today--when my party walked in, one customer was trying to find the ticket prices, and we already had our passes ready and hanging around our necks. Another staff member was sitting behind the check-in staff. Why couldn't he help us get the wristbands and ask for our shoe sizes? Isn't that how you excel at your job--by noticing customer needs and stepping in, rather than staying idle and only doing the tasks assigned to you? That way, the line would move much faster and everything would run more smoothly. Honestly, it feels like they're just enjoying the free ice-skating perks instead of focusing on customer service.

They helped me expand my ski boots with this ski warmer and it helped a lot in terms of comfort with skiing. They also gave me more tips on how to prevent my legs from being bruised because of the tightness of the ski boots.

Our go to person we've been ordering from is Kristin, but I've been in and received help from Ryan and multiple different folks. All are welcoming and helpful. I wish I would have known about Risan a couple seasons back when we were having trouble finding cleats. They had a TON of options, same goes for bats ( they even had the Fire bat which was one of my son's top asked for bday items). There was a day recently where Kristin was not in, and I was able to still get a response from her via email and her coworker even text her to get a response. The team at Risan cares about their customers and that's rare to find nowadays. Every time I've been in I see someone else there getting great service, and you can tell they've had some relationships with local schools and teams for years and years. I also like that they're able to do small batch orders. We were considering doing a dozen hats for parents and Kristin was more than happy to get quotes for me.
