Though not ill she was still nervous so I offered to go along with her to hold her hand. Inside I realised the enormity of the surgery. There must have been at least 20 consultation rooms. We were running late and couldn't get through on the phone to let them know so we just turned up hoping my mom could still be seen. The lady behind the reception was really understanding and helpful, it was as if she could sense my mom's nervousness. She said we would have to wait about 15 minutes When we were called through, the doctor confirmed whether or not my mom would mind a trainee doctor being present, of course she said no - if anything to confirm she would have a detailed examination. The doctor then continued through the health check procedures. She went through some details of how my mom could bring her cholesterol down and she discussed her BMI. The doctor clearly wasn't putting on a performance for the sake of the trainee, she just wanted my mom to be completely comfortable and to go away with all the information she needed. If I still lived over this way I would transfer my Doctor's surgery to here right away. I was really impressed with the professionalism of all the staff here, if only all doctor's surgeries were like this.

Receptionists are great, friendly and helpful. Have been impressed with how thorough my doctor is. Great service.

Oh gosh well what positives is their about this practice ?? It opens which is the only good…read morething. Surgery is small and old and outdated. Some receptionists are polite and others , well I'd rather not say!! This surgery has a nurse who doubles up as a GP ?? Yes you work that one out. Dr Sagoo is the most annoying GP I have ever met. Common courtesy obviously eludes this man. On entry to his room there is no hello, welcome etc... Just a nod of head enquiring what do you want... Terrible people person skills. This practise is over subscribed and its all about money.. Best of all was I attended surgery just and Dr sago instead of running his practice decided to clean his car outside in front of surgery waiting on their appointments!!! When I questioned this with receptionists I was informed he hadn't arrived yet until waiting room showed her what he was doing!!! As stated this ignorant man is only interested in his bank balance/practice balance and not the care of his patients!! There is a lovely GP named dr Sayeed who is a wonderful doctor showing warmth, care and interest. However he is not always at this practice so I like lots others do wait .... If your looking for a welcoming, efficient run practise then DON'T look here !!!

The building looks great for a doctors' surgery and the standards of service match the appearance…read more Getting an appointment with the doctor didn't take too long but I spent about twenty five minutes in the waiting room with only magazines from 2009 to keep my mind occupied. So that was pretty boring. The doctors themselves were really helpful in getting to the root of my problem. You know how some doctors try and see as many patients as possible to keep things good, tell you not to worry when you think you have a serious problem, give you some drugs and hope the problem goes? Here it felt like the doctors (and receptionists) actually care, result!! Yes they gave me drugs to solve the problem but that came with genuine advice and reassurance. They're a teaching practice so it can be embarrassing having a student present; especially if you have an extremely personal problem. It was a little too far for me to travel but the services provided make it worth it. So I think the Hall Green residents are lucky! There's no other place like this so it's great that they can do: screenings, vaccines, antenatal clinic and asthma clinic plus there's a pharmacy so you can immediately pick up your prescriptions; extremely handy as I am a busy person.

"Finally a decent doctors" is what I thought when first looking at the building. This opinion…read morechanged soon as I walked into the waiting room. From the outside it looked so modern but on the inside it looked like everything was a bit dated; magazines I understand but not old fashioned and uncomfortable beds I recently registered at this doctors' and was pleased to know it all happened there and then. There was none of that "send us your sample"/ "You'll be registered in a few days" this was lucky as I needed an appointment the next day. In fact it's pretty quick and easy to get an appointment. I had to see the nurse who didn't appear to care much about my health. I know she probably didn't care but it would've made me feel so much better. She didn't explain things properly either and got a bit patronising when things went wrong so I had to ask her explain again. On the other hand the doctor was better as she was kind and talked me through things but didn't make me feel reassured and the extremely uncomfortable examination didn't help!
