Within 2 hours I had my appointment with Dr Mohammed (as requested) for a day that suited me. My appointment as always was superb, Dr Mohammed always remembers me, gives excellent advice and gives the best (pain free) hydrocortisone injections! I have been with this practice all of my life and seen them grow from Dr Mr and Dr Mrs Mcrann. to the state of the art care they now offer. yes, they get busy, but if needed a doctor will always see you. The reception staff are patient, kind and caring too.

Without wanting to bore you too much with…read moremy medical history (which is rather boring anyway and mainly consists of dodgy throats and the occasional jippy shoulder) I can say that every doctor I've seen here has been absolutely lovely - even when I've got carried away and misdiagnosed myself with something rare and life threatening (the joys of looking up symptoms on Google eh?) and it turns out all I've got is a slight case of tonsillitis. Which kills by the way. It's a big place with regular smoking cessation, diabetes and stress clinics. They have a team of very nice nurses and the reception staff are smiley and kind. They used to play rather annoying muzak but seem to have stopped that in recent years, although the kiddies soft toy play area can sometimes get a bit noisy - not ideal if you are a migraine sufferer. You can always get an appointment - the only downer is the lack of reading material - Golf magazines and leaflets on COPD feature heavily. Hopefully you won't need to use a doctor much, but if you do find yourself looking for one in the Harborne area, then this comes recommended.

The doctors here - or at least the one that I…read morealways see: Dr. Zoltonos - have a remarkable knack of being extremely efficient without making you feel like they're just trying to rush you out of there. I don't think I've ever spent any longer than about 2 minutes in the surgery at a time, yet I have always felt listened to, taken seriously and medically sorted out - which, to be fair, is exactly what you want in a GP. Particularly the 'taken seriously' bit - I moved here as my previous GP seemed to find all my complaints highly amusing, I have no idea why. I was also able to see a doctor the morning after I registered, which was a bonus, as sometimes moving records across and what have you seems to take forever at some places. Not at River Brook, thank God, where they seem to have got sympathetic efficiency down to a fine art.

I find this medical centre brilliant, the doctors are very understanding and helpful and always…read morehave time to listen to you,I have no problems with this medical centre, I have been with this centre since these doctors took over from the last ones, Dr and Mrs Chawla have always been most helpful whenever I have needed their help and are only keen to help me, in an emergency they will come to the house, when my father was ill with cancer Mrs Chawla was there to help us,I have just been diagnosed as having diabetes type 2 and the surgery nurse Jane Oakley has done all she could to help even sending me to City Hospital on a 6 week course to find out all about diabetes , its easy to get an appointment and all the reception staff are very helpful,in an emergency they will always get me an appointment with either a doctor or nurse.they send me letters when the flu jab is available or a "well man" clinic is available, I can get my blood pressure or cholesterol test done when its needed. brilliant

Weoley Castle's Millennium Centre is nicely laid out with friendly nurses, doctors and registry…read morestaff. Their seating area is very spacious and provides various televisions to watch and wait from many angles of the room. They also display several informative and helpful posters in which you read and keep yourself occupied while waiting. They don't keep you waiting for long though which is a great plus side to any of those in urgent need of seeing a doctor. As I peered around the room it doesn't seem as though they provide anything for children which isn't that good for kids that need to get easily distracted. All in all, I think that Weoley Castle's Millennium Medical Centre has a fast and efficient way of registering as well as being seen by a doctor or nurse. Definitely recommended to those who live locally.

I joined this practice when I first moved to Kings Heath and I'm still there, over ten years later…read more They have seen me through two children, some fairly major illnesses and I have been very pleased with them. I like to shop around for things like this and I'm probably a nightmare of a patient as I want to know everything and question anything if I'm not sure or happy. I always feel listened to and involved in any treatment I've had. When the GP's look information up, they show me what they've found and I feel confident that they're giving the best advice they can. As a mum I have been vey happy with the help I've received from them. We've turned up quite a few times with various worries and hey have always made us feel at our ease and never made us feel silly for bringing our children along. They are also brilliant at phoning you back. Sometimes I don't want an appointment but am just looking for advice and if you phone and ask for a GP to contact you, they will. They spend time with you on the phone and are very thorough. From talking to other parents, I think we have a very good surgery and I would recommend.

Although you don't have to be a student to register with this practice, there is a distinctly…read morestudenty 'feel' to the place. Once you've got past the bizarre entrance (ring the bell and wait to be let in!) you find yourself in a small, strangely shaped waiting area. The glass door will slide open revealing a receptionist to take your details, then the door will rapidly slide shut again leaving you feeling a little bit intimated! These are minor points in the great scheme of things - the GPs I have seen there tend to be average - no better or worse than at other practices really. You don't have to wait particularly long on a good day, and if you ring up in the morning you can often get a same-day appointment. Parking is tricky - there are side roads off the Bristol road, but you tend to have to walk a fair way as the residents will invariably have their cars parked. There is a chemist nearby just a bit further up the Bristol Road which can be handy.
