We choose Hobgood to build our second accessory building. We were disappointed in the quality and the service. The people were friendly but lackadaisical. It was quite clear the crew assigned was not their best. Given that I work from home I witnessed everything. I've never seen people work so hard to try to look busy. The quality was absolutely terrible. We contacted the supervisor On numerous occasions to report issues. When the work was considered complete we had the owner come out to see all of the issues that remained. He agreed the work was subpar and sent the crew back to correct all the issues. Had we not paid attention we would have been left with a building that appeared to be built by amateurs. The way the concrete work is quoted you can expect some extra charges on top of the contracted amount. This building took weeks to build due to the work ethic of the crew, when they actually didn't call off sick. I will never use Hobgood again. read more
