Customer service here is garbage and has been consistently for years. My most recent experience inspired me to write a review. Long story short, I bought multiple rolls of black paper, all sitting on the same rack. After opening the last one I realized it was a different type of black and wouldn't match. I went in the day after the purchase with receipt and with the labels of the packaging to see about exchanging the one roll and manager was unwilling to help and even told me "That's tough" when I explained the situation. Honestly love this store but today gave me a bad taste. An older lady fell in their parking lol and came in bleeding and bruised. A worker who I assume is a manager said to her that they don't have anything up here to help her but she can go to the bathroom all the way in the back of the store. She had no urgency or empathy to help this lady. Other workers there helped giving her water and bandaids but when I went back to the front the lady from before had a nasty look on her face and was aggressively putting carts back. Just had a great experience here. Disaya in the framing department was super helpful, and knowledgeable. She prepared a matte while we shopped after helping us with color choice. Once again, I've abandoned what I was going to buy and left this store. The store is busy, I go to check out, and once again, there's only one line open, with at least 9 people in line. There's a manager there, seeing this, and just standing around. The returns line is open, and when busy you can check out there, but there are 10 people on line there too. I'm a patient person, but there are clearly other employees milling around who could open a register. This is a regular occurrence. I give myself 30 minutes to make a 5 minute purchase because the lines are always ridiculous, even mid afternoon on a weekday. Be prepared to wait at least 20 minutes to check out. This is a wonderful store owned and operated by a wonderful family. Their sales are just outstanding and the savings are enormous. I have a crafting business it's all paper crafting. I save a lot of money by watching the ads. The ads run from Sunday night to Saturday night. The retail stores are closed on Sunday so that employees can worship and be with their families. I like that! In fact I wish all retail stores were Christian stores and did that. You can sign up for their email and they will remind you that a new sale for the next week is coming up so you can plan your shopping trip. And they deliver same day delivery or store pickup. Plan to wait in line no less than 20 minutes. Every. Single. Time. Some employees are helpful some would rather flirt with the constriction worker instead of helping you with picture frames. Sometimes they have good sales. It's a mixed bag here, but good service and competent employees can make all the difference. read more

I typically have no problems at this location, except it's hard to find help in the store when looking for something. The staff seem few and far between. Stopped in Friday night, yesterday, did some shopping. I looked around the whole store for close to an hour searching for an acorn figurine that i had seen online. Finally came across a young lady stocking Christmas items, andI said "this may be a long shot and you may not be able to help me, but I am look for this.." and showed her the picture. She started looking right away, then said "let's check on the top shelves. We stock stuff up there." And then she asked her coworker if she could help. They both were helping me, all 3 of us looking, and they found it!! They immediately grabbed the claws/picker upper and pulled it down for me. They were so helpful and so kind! I wish I had gotten their names! Today, I had to return to Hobby Lobby to exchange one of the acorns as it was broken, and I didn't check before I headed to check out yesterday. The female manager, Pat, was very rude and acted put out. Asked when I bought it, without looking at my receipt and wanted to know "WHAT I wanted to do with it." Then she called Jordan over to go and get a replacement. He came back with a different color acorn and I asked if they had the darker color if they didn't have the color I bought. My mother then followed Jordan to look at the acorns and he said "there were no more up on the shelves in baskets." My mother came to tell me and I walked over there to see there was in fact 2 more baskets on the top shelves with acorns in them. I went back and told Pat, the manager, who then called Jordan and he walked over there and once she explained it, he rolled his eyes and made a negative comment in Spanish. (Unsure of spelling but I know what it means) He said he had to finish helping another costumer and would be right there. After waiting a few minutes at the aisle, we saw another manager, Chris. I explained what happened and asked if he could get the basket down. He then informed me "Jordan is on his way with the ladder." Pat walked down and Chris asked her what the situation was and if Jordan had been called. So he clearly lied to me and my mom about Jordan being on his way. After an extended period of time, Jordan showed up with the ladder, retrieved the basket and there was the correct acorn I wanted. I just cannot believe the customer service I received tonight. I have shopped at Hobby Lobby for years. I am a professional crafter and spend thousands of dollars per year there. Since they have moved into the "new" retail model, they have brought in some very cheap and inferior products. The selection has also reduced signifcantly. In the last few months I have had very bad experiences with returns. The return yesterday was absolutely ridiculous. I purchased a pencil sharpener in May and it stopped working this week. Because I am in business, I always save my receipts so I found the receipt and went to the store. I explained my dilema and the manager said she couldn't exchange it because it was used and I didn't have the original packaging. I just looked at her dumbfounded. That was the dumbest thing I have ever heard. Of course it was used AND I have had it for 2 months so of course I wouldn't have the original packing. Customer service here SUCKS!!! Would never return to this location. I needed help finding an item so I stood in they're one line since they had no cashiers besides one person. Just for me to finally get to the front of the line and the cashier tell me "it's all the way down then go towards the right". So after standing in the check out line I had to go and get the item myself which I still had trouble finding. As I walk back to the checkout line I ask a different employee if she's able to check me out since I just got finished waiting in there long line to only ask where this item was. I love hobby lobby, however this last time I went in to return some unused items the associate that "helped" me was not friendly at all. She finished with the customer in front of me and was somewhat helpful to her, but as soon as I walked up, her demeanor changed. I stood in front of her for at least 60 seconds. Absolute silence. Not once did she acknowledge that I was standing directly in front of her. Finally I dumped my items out of my bag, handed her the receipt and said " since you're not going to ask how you can help me, I need to return these items".
