I love Hobby Lobby. My mom and I came into this Hobby Lobby to find a tiny red ball suitable for the nose on an antique Jack In The Box clown. We were successful! Then we found the cutest leather turtle for me for my turtle figurine collection! Hobby Lobby has everything! They are so well stocked. They even have a Snoopy section, for Snoopy lovers, and my sister loves Snoopy! I have do much fun when I go to this store. It's like I get to be a kid and an adult at the same time! I went in to get some supplies and couldn't find any paint varnish so I asked the employee and she took me to where the varnish is and even helped me figure out which varnish did what.Wether it made it glossy,helped make it resistant to water,and so on! And the value for things were pretty good like you can get a canvas for $5.Though from what I hear you got to check the back because the back could have a different price.I also don't like how they sell toxic lead paint in those paint kits. read more

Well this place is HUGE! It wa my first time visiting. It's like Michael's... on steroids! It has soooo much stuff. If you're a crafter, I'm sure they have what you need. I went in to find a certain type of glue for plastic models. I didn't see a location for it on the floor. I chose some other glues and went to check out. While checking out I asked if I could give them one of their sku's to which the employee replied rudely "if it's not out there we don't have it in the warehouse" she wouldn't offer to look at another store for me or even take the sku to see if it were located somewhere else in the store. I'm disappointed at their service since the company boasts that they are a faith based company. You'd think they would be a little nicer. I recently visited Hobby Lobby and was thoroughly disappointed with the level of service. The employees worked at an incredibly slow pace, taking an inordinate amount of time to complete even the smallest tasks. For example, Emily spent 10 minutes discussing her personal life instead of focusing on cutting fabric for customers. Additionally, the checkout lines were extremely long, and it was evident that none of the staff were properly trained to handle transactions quickly and efficiently. This lack of efficiency made what should have been a quick shopping trip an unnecessarily lengthy and frustrating experience. I hope Hobby Lobby addresses these issues to improve their customer service. People prefer prompt service. additionally there was an employee standing at the entrance/exit and instead of greeting customers as they walked in or wishing people a good day when they're walking out she was just standing giving dirty looks to everyone who walked by. I don't think she broke her death stare toward me the whole time. Very disappointed in you hobby lobby. read more

Hugemungus inside. I thought it would be more of a hobby shop. You know model trains, RC cars, nitro powered helechopter, rockets, paint ball. Air soft, model cars and some model glue to sniff. This is more like an Michaels + Joann's on an extremely scale. They had all the fake flowers but in 4 different sizes of each type. It was crazy. I was slightly overwhelmed so I just left because I really wanted to buy some Zulu warriors for a scene in my model train set I'm working on. read more

Checked out Hobby Lobby tonight for the 1st time. As soon as I walked in, I was super excited! It's a huge store packed with home decor, furniture and arts and crafts! What more could a girl ask for?! And it's nice stuff! I was amazed at all the beautiful items they had. They were even having several sales of 50% off on select items! I could've probably spent a good hour in the store, but my wallet would've suffered, so I scooped up my choices and hit the register to check out. Looking forward to going back! read more

This store seemed larger than most of the other locations I have been to. Located in a shopping center with a dollar tree and a Ross off the main road. The store seems older than most as well. Store was too cluttered for my liking. Tons of stuff everywhere. The store was not organized well at all. Extremely weird set up. The back of the store where the planners are located was in a disarray. They were having a mega sales on them. I guess this was why. I stopped in this location n the hunt for new planner stuff that just came out. No one around to answer questions expect for the 3 employees setting up the holiday section and the one person on a register. O.K. to go to if you know what you are looking for and you hopefully know where to find it because you won't find an employee to help you. They seemed even more overpriced then most other Hobby Lobby's I have been to. read more

My wife and I stopped in to this location to look for a couple of frames for some artwork she purchased at a Cocoa Village shop. We were assisted by a very helpful young lady in the framing shop named Casey S. She was super helpful and eager to please. She's a newly-minted Certified Framer and she impressed us with her expertise and speed. She also assisted 2 or 3 other customers while we were there without missing a beat. Very efficient and cheerful. Based solely on the fantastic customer service we received from Casey S., my wife and I will return the next time we need our artwork framed. The store was completely packed, yet several employees were just walking around doing nothing. When it came to checkout, there was around 50 people for 3 cash registers. When I complained, someone sent the assistant manager out to harass us. The gentleman got in our face and threatened us, saying if we didn't like it we could leave, all the time very aggressive. Hopefully someone can hire respectable employees instead of dangerous thugs. Thank you for manager John for dealing with his liability of an employee and helping out. read more

I give the store 3 stars ONLY for the selection of merchandise. I take two stars away for their pricing. Super over inflated prices then marked down at either 40 or 50% off. Call it the bargain shopper in me but when I pick up a picture that I love and see the price at $69.99. I'm shocked. Ok so it's on sale... So the price is $35. The problem is, I can see paying $35 for it without being on sale. But $35 without being able to use a coupon on too of that? No way!! NOT giving into your marketing ploys. I've been here twice and that's good enough for me. read more

Pretty good selection, if you can wade through all the bogus sale prices. Everything is always on sale, which is suspect. I have to wonder why the markup game. And the coupon thing is ridiculous too. In addition to their artificially inflated prices that are always supposedly on sale, there's always a coupon that brings something down to the same price everyone else is charging. Seems like a fishy cat and mouse game for a supposedly Christian organization. My main issue is there are never any helpful people around when you need them. Maybe this store can't find qualified help in this area. And prepare to wait in lines forever. There are never enough cashiers. Oh, and for some strange reason, this store is closed on Sunday, which is retail suicide. For those of us who work Monday through Friday, Sunday may be the only day we can run around and spend our hard earned dollars. Michaels ends up with hundreds of my dollars that might have been Hobby Lobby's only because they're open on Sundays. read more
