I was greeted at the door. The cashier had a smile on. I walked around with my purchase, and a lady who seemed like she should be the manager - a taller short spiked blondish/white haired lady- was talking to another person. I walked by, and she stopped her conversation and asked me did I need a buggy. I told her no thanks, and that I was just browsing. I stopped to look at a bedspread and another worker talked to me about sales, coupons, and how she too wanted to purchase the spread. I got to the cash register and the manger checked me out. She gave quality service and was very kind. I commended them on a job well done, to which she stated usually customers would complain about the store when things are going wrong - and not give a compliment when things are going right. I told her she had a wonderful staff and I could tell the store was run well. I will be back ! First time shopper, and I definitely like the store here.

The selection of antique light fixtures is one of the best I have ever seen. There are amazing fixtures from the old library in town. There are also other fixtures that are vintage and antique that are really nice ceiling mounts. There are lots of iron items like pulleys, door hardware, and ice tongs. There are all sorts of beautiful glass ware items, kitchen items, and silver. They also have lots old keys that are fun to look at. You are never sure what you will find. The best thing about this store is that they have really great prices. I think they have some of the best prices in town. I hope that you stop by if you are in Jefferson. These signs are EVERYWHERE. Don't touch this, don't handle this on your own, don't pick up candles by the lids. Maybe the owner has a lot of little children in her home that break many of her items and feels the need to post these signs in her store, but it was really just weird. I might have stayed longer and been interested in buying more than I did if it weren't for the constant reprimands I felt I was getting as I walked around the store. It really made me feel young again - like I was 5 that is - and that's not a good thing.
