While they may think this is saving them money by making it more difficult for their customers to acquire rewards, I can tell you they have lost my weekly business as the discount app is too much of a pain and I am irritated. It was great doing business with you, until you got greedy! UPDATE: Within 12 hours, the store manager responded. I do not agree that this was a "misunderstanding", as several drive through employees at the East Longview and Henderson locations have flat out (but apologetically) refused to accept my Iron Horse Rewards cards at the register. But based on her response that they will accept it, I returned to the East Longview store. The clerk started to say they would not...but I interrupted to let her know the manager said they will, and she did. So I got $7 off my purchase (since it has been months since I could redeem discounts). Upgrading from 2-stars back to 5-stars unless they repeat this "misunderstanding".

First, you have false advertising stating " largest humidor in Texas". Cigar International in Conroe and FtW beats your square footing. Granted, it's a large humidor- but it's not properly humidified. Your Perdomo 10th anniversary felt like a dry twig. I picked up other brands and noticed that most felt dry. I've been in enough shops to know the feel of a properly maintained walk-in. I should have not have been surprised bc you are selling over priced dry sticks along with Swisher Sweets and vape supplies! Let's talk about customer service- in an era where most cigar shops are competing with online retailers, your service is what should set you apart. I sat in the under- humidified space for 10 minutes before one of your associates came into the walk-in. Dip in his mouth, he asked if I needed help. I said I had time to kill and was looking to smoke a cigar. He told me I had to pay a day pass to access the lounge! That was the final straw. Your retail prices are at least a dollar more than most brick/ mortar cigar shops. Your inventory is dry and customer service is lacking. I left. While driving in Gilmer I noticed that you have another shop. I decided to try again. That shop smelled of weed and body odor. I left. Next time I visit East Texas, I'll remember to bring my own cigars!

When I stopped through to make my purchase, the gentleman on assignment was super friendly and very welcoming. He gave me a small tour and when I informed him of the cigar I was looking for he immediately pointed it out for me in the humidor. I always appreciate it when the staff is knowledgeable about what's in the humidor and where it is located. The inside is spacious and inviting. There are two large smoking areas with comfortable seating that says, 'sit down and stay awhile'. As importantly, they have a large walk-in humidor with an amazing selection of sticks. It also contains separate restrooms for men/women. Located next door to Havana Sports & Cigar Bar, the two share the front sidewalk patio which contains awesome seating as well. When I come back to Shreveport this will be my stop for cigars.

Upon arriving, to my surprise, I found this place to be right next door (the 2 places share the front patio area). I later learned that both places are under the same ownership; M.A.'s Smoke House is the more typical cigar shop while this place is more of a lounge. While they have overlapping hours at certain points of the day; the difference are worth noting. For openers, while they are great choices, this place has a smaller selection of cigars. That said, as I was told, for a greater selection of cigars to M.A.'s Smoke House before they close and then come over here to enjoy your smoke. And enjoy I did, Havana Sports & Cigar Bar has a fully stocked bar which serves craft cocktails. If bourbon, whisky, etc. isn't for you, they also have several beers on tap. The bartenders were both friendly and great at what they do. As if this wasn't enough, this place has pool table which was well kept. There is also plenty (and by plenty, I mean a significant amount) of indoor seating which includes tables/chairs along with comfy couches and chairs. If sitting indoors is not your thing, there is a nice sized sidewalk patio with plenty of comfortable seating/tables. As previously mentioned, the patio is shared with M.A.'s Smoke House. Lastly, there are several restaurants in the immediate vicinity (i.e. walking distance) which makes it easy to make a great evening/night by dining first and then stopping here for and after dinner cigar and cocktail. If you live in the Shreveport area and want a great spot to chillax at; this is it. If you're just visiting and looking for a great chillaxin spot; look no further as this is it. Anytime I'm back up north I always stop in and pick up a roll of Skoal (Straight Longcut) and a few cigars to have handy for when I tee it up with my buddies on of the many gofl courses I play in that area.
