They had free coffee while I was there which was tasty and also for sale in small packages. I assume a local coffee company but forgot to ask. My wife and I found several items to purchase. I bought some old spoons to make a wind chime. My wife found an Iris and Herringbone bowl for $4 (either here or next door... I forget.) They do have a clean restroom. I didn't get the address but their next-door neighbor to the left is 8362 Old Hwy 171, Grand Cane, LA 71032. I did jot down their hours which are Tues-Fri 10-5, Sat 10-2, Sun-Mon closed.

The only…read moreproblem are the constant signs are the store reminding you not to touch, that if break something you have to buy it (duh - what store doesn't have that policy), and that you are being watched. These signs are EVERYWHERE. Don't touch this, don't handle this on your own, don't pick up candles by the lids. Maybe the owner has a lot of little children in her home that break many of her items and feels the need to post these signs in her store, but it was really just weird. I might have stayed longer and been interested in buying more than I did if it weren't for the constant reprimands I felt I was getting as I walked around the store. It really made me feel young again - like I was 5 that is - and that's not a good thing.

The ranch is breath taking with God's beauty. We enjoyed the prayer garden and had an amazing time hiking on the trails. We had the opportunity to meet the owners of the ranch Dwayne and Romey, very lovely couple. They really are stewarding the ranch very well. We got to see them do their daily maintenance and were impressed with their heart posture to make sure we had the most comfortable and amazing time while visiting.
