We have been hobby lobby consumers for the last 4 1/2 years. I've grown an extremely large e-commerce business from this institution. Today was the first day of my entirety of having hobby lobby as a consumer store while I was treated the way I was treated by the management name, April. I made a purchase for several items and once I made the final purchase, I looked in my receipt and it was $442 now the reason why we shop at Hobby lobby is because of the deals and a discount that they have in this godfather service and owner. But this day in particular, the manager April is at the front and she seem like she doesn't wanna help us or she has some type of agitation for our presence inside of her store. Once we came back inside of the store to ask for customer service to have a check for all items that were purchased 'Charlene' helped us at the front desk, then while helping us she was interrupted by this manager(APRIL). after being interrupted with a question on what was transpiring in line. When she realized what the issue was were once told immediately... with no time to try to have a disillusion or a proper resolve to the situation that she would have to run the cameras back ‍to check the purchases. The. it wouldn't be able to be done until tomorrow morning the following day. Now mind you, I've been doing business with Hobby lobby for the last six months and spent over $5000.... all of my receipts are attached in this email I'm sending to corporate. So I just wanna make a formal complaint on how this situation was handled and the service that was given to me at Hobby lobby by the manager (APRIL). Great service. I watched the staff handle a couple of women the other night who were attempting to get their merchandise marked down when it was clearly labeled on the shelf. The customers were very hostile but the staff remained cool and calm and stood their ground. The customer is not always right and at this location, the clientele is often Untruthful, trashes the store, and attempts to be deceitful. read more

I had the most pleasant customer service experience yesterday in the Humble, Tx Hobby Lobby. Best that I have had anywhere in recent memory. A young lady named Ophelia in the custom Framing department was extremely helpful with suggestions on frame types, matting, colors and offered alternatives and was most patient. I really felt I was being helped making a decision on the final order as she offered some great opinions on the final look that I was after. It felt like it was a joint effort and I was very happy with the result. This is how customer service should be. This young lady is an asset to your store. I really love shopping here! You can find almost anything for your crafty needs. I usually come to get pictures framed or if not I'll just frame the pictures myself. Either way, it's fun. They have ready made frames that can fit standard size pictures or posters. If you want to save some money, I suggest buying the frames when there half off and than use a 40% coupon on something else like a custom mat or on a UV clear glass. I like that they don't charge a labor fee to put your picture in the frame. You just pay for the frame and anything else that you would like to add on, like a mat-board or a wire hanger. If there not to busy, they can put it together that same day. They also do custom framing and the custom frames are always half off the market price. I brought my Fiancés Jordan poster to be framed and it was a big poster, so I knew it was going to be a bit pricey. The staff was very helpful in choosing the right frame and glass. This place is RIDICULOUS. I'm from California and the only way that I can describe this place is basically the baby of Joann's and Michael's, the size of a WalMart. THEY HAVE EVERYTHING. I went to this Hobby Lobby and was shopping in their "spring collection" and noticed everything was 50% off. So I had found a painting I had liked and the sticker said $79.99. But it was the only one like it and it was very damaged on the back and a quite a bit on the front so I decided to see if the manager would take a little extra off for the damage. I went to check out and the manager came over and I asked him if he could take extra off because of the damage and he told me "there has to be more damage than that" he was very rude about it and seemed like he didn't care to give us him time. I haven't gone to this store in years. But something has clearly happened to their customer service that makes me not want to return. Today around noon I went to look for a particular paint and asked for help by an employee in that section. They appeared to be busy "stocking" supplies and seemed bothered by my questions so I went to ask another employee from another area. She was very kind, walking back with me to the paint area and helping answer my questions - especially for how busy the store was. I'm not sure why the first employee was so annoyed but despite how kind the other employee was, I'm not sure if I will be returning to this store anytime soon. read more

I'm giving this location one star because of the numerous experiences I have had with this location with certain workers. I went into the store January 24, 2022 and it was a particular item that I noticed was the only one in stock and I stopped one of the on the floor clerks to ask her whether or not this item was something that could be ordered online or is this just an in-store only product. She rudely cut me off in the middle of my sentence and said if it's spring then no it's not online and walked away, I noticed that another woman who was 3 rows down from me stopped her to ask her a question and her demeanor was completely different than how she was with me. She was very professional,welcoming, and helpful for the other customer but when I needed her help she had a disgusting attitude and didn't even help me. This is not the first time I have experienced this problem here at this location and it is not all of the clerks but I will say there are a few of the customer service clerks that have been very rude non-helpful and it's obvious that they only want to be helpful and respectful to a certain preference of individuals I have noticed it for quite some time but I never took the time to leave a review because it's not every experience I come to Hobby lobby and have this type of problems but this most recent one I needed to speak on it because I was extremely disgusted with that type of disrespect. read more

This Hobby Lobby is located in a very inconvenient place. Since it's right on the parking lot of Deerbrook mall, it may not always be easy to get into due to the amount of traffic in the area. Before going here, I thought it was just another one of those stores that my wife likes that has isles and isles uninteresting things. Once I started to walk through the store I found lots cool interesting items that I will probably like to shop for in the future.My son loves projects and they sell plenty of items here that should keep him busy throughout the summer. Also since I like to collect baseball cards, stamps and memorabilia, I will be returning to buy books and storage for them. The only downfall is that the items don't have UPCs. This means that the cashier has to punch in the price of each item like the old days. It may take a bit to check out since they have to get pricechecks when an item doesn't have a price sticker. read more

Wow! This place was absolutely packed! I went in at noon on a Wednesday and they had four registers going with at least six people in each line. There were lots of workers everywhere and the stocks seem to be well-maintained, it was just so shocking that it was packed like a standard store would be on a Saturday on the middle of the day, Wednesday. They did have a lack of blue yarn in the yarn department, but that may be because someone came in with a big project and cleared it all out. I will definitely have to give myself plenty of time to shop and check out at this location. It doesn't seem to be a place that you can just run into and grab one thing real quick. But still, I love Hobby lobby and since this is the closest location to my house I don't doubt that I will be here often. I just hope that the workers keep up a high level of service to make up for the fact that the store is always so crowded. Definitely the place to go when you're ready to invest in the decorations of your home! It has fall, halloween, christmas, everyday, frames, pillows, mirrors. Lots of varieties to choose from. I personally go in there and have sensory overload! Its like a kid in a candy store. If you're looking for a specific item or just treasure hunting - you are sure to find something! I went in looking for a fall centerpiece for my dining room and walked out with a beautiful metal pumpkin. My cousin went in and came out with beautiful pieces to create a fall wreath - which turned out great! one of the coolest stores i have ever been to. hobby lobby creative center has it all from decor to party supplies to arts and crafts this place i would say has everything you would need for your decorationg or for whatever project your working on. they also have a really framing section where you can customize pictures that they have there for sell or you can bring your own picture poster etc. to get it customized in a frame. this place is always packed from morning till dusk alot of people come here. the staff here in this store location are very helpful and friendly thats why i love coming here. read more

I absolutely LOVE this store from their framing department who has taken care of my art bought during our European travels, to their seasonal decor to their crafting supplies. They have a huge selection and reasonable prices especially when you factor in their rotating sales! I wish they had an express line for 5 items or less. Staff is pretty good but the lines are slow so don't go in if you're in a hurry. Otherwise, I could spend hours in this store...& I usually do! :) read more

I have been shopping and buying Home décor from Hobby Lobby for many years.In all those years, I have never had to return a bought item. Today being Tuesday,May.15th,2018., I did.I returned the item from where I bought it,Hobby Lobby,20325 Highway 59 North in Humble,Tx ,right by Deerbrook Mall.I had originally spent over $200.00 dollars in this store on that particular purchase,buying several items.I was reurning one.When I brought it in the store,an unk. young lady at the first checkout Isle,had a sign stating 'returns here'.As I explained to her that I did not want my money back-just a store due bill to spend their in that store.She explained "Nothing" to me,called over another employee who told me he was the asst.manager(when I inquired) He approved the return I guess.. To my utter shock,she gave me a Due bill card that had a value of only $37.88. But I had paid $75.76 when I bought it a few days ago!! She was wearing a name tag attached to a necklace,covered around her chest with several other necklaces.Her name was unreadable and frankly extremely unprofessional to wear her name tag in that manner while at work.It was completely covered and unreadable.,defeating the purpose of wearing a job name tag at all.. The asst.Manager was a short white man, who was not even wearing a name tag that I could see.When I inquired to the asst.manager about why is their a reduction in my refund.He stated it was because I did not have my receipt.Even though their were store tags still on the returned merchandised (marking and identifying that the return came from this Hobby Lobby store.)When I asked him for the full refund,because I was fixing to buy more items their,He without any professional courtesy what so ever refused...I have shopped at many stores and never have I witnessed such a rinky dink way to take your money.This is not good or right at all!!! Hobby Lobby is not a handicapped friendly store. I shop there often but I have a hard time walking very far or standing for a long time. They do have a wheelchair but I can't push myself all through the store it's an older model. I called Hobby Lobby corporate office and they said that they don't provide electric handicap scooters because they fear people will run into their displays of glass or ceramic items. How does that work for a store that is a Christian store? They could care less about handicapped shoppers! read more

LOTS of selection here! We have a Michaels and a Hobby Lobby within a 1 mile radius and, to be honest, there is no comparison in the selection between the 2 stores. I go to Michaels for those little craft kits for kids, but I have found a much better selection in decor at Hobby Lobby. Their prices are also reasonable and they always seem to have 50% off of different categories. As a recent example, I needed photo props for Easter pictures. I did find the Easter bunny at Michaels, but otherwise, their Easter selection was limited to a small center display. Hobby Lobby, on the other hand, had 3 full aisles of Easter decor. Everything at both stores was 40% off, but besides the Welcome Bunny (decorative stand up bunny), Michaels really had nothing to offer with Easter still10 days away. Hobby Lobby had a variety of oversized eggs, a cute crate for the kids to sit on, easter lilies, 3 or 4 different types of garland to choose from and more. Basically, they just had a lot more to choose from. I don't generally do a lot of crafting or decorating, but for someone who does need decor from time to time, Hobby Lobby definitely has my vote. read more
