Stopped here to kill some time. They hadn't plowed the parking lot after the snow storm. It was hazardous walking in. I got a couple of cute things from the 80% off Christmas stuff and another little item With my 40% off coupon. And a silk flower stem at 50% off. I wouldn't pay full price for items as they are a bit pricey without the sales/coupons. The register gal was extremely pleasant and helpful. When I left a plow was there trying to clean the lot that had a lot of cars. I don't shop here often, but when I do , I usually find some nice things on sale. And I find inspiration in items I see there. read more

I don't really know much about these sorts of stores, I was just getting a gift certificate for a friend who "does crafts." I really don't know what this means, but the workers up front were nice and helpful so I didn't have to wander around lost and confused. 3.5 stars, this Hobby Lobby is huge. There are always a few aisles of Holiday stuff as you walk in (whatever the next Holiday may be), and it's usually 40-50% off! Lots of good Christmas stuff right now, and we haven't even passed Halloween. If you need any kind of craft stuff for a project, they've got it. There's a nice selection of frames that seem a little expensive at regular price, and a frame shop for custom orders. There's a ton of different styles of that "inspiration decoration" type stuff. You know, the type of signage that women who read about the women that run with wolves like? Or religious inspiration? The HL has its finger on that pulse, and I'm actually surprised at how quickly they co-opt hipster designs from Etsy, and the like. Oh, and closed on Sundays, of course. read more

The love child of Michaels and Joann Fabrics on steroids. You need fabric? They have it. Fake flowers? Yep. Picture frames, yarn, crafty stuff for kids? Yes, yes and yes. Have a list when you come in here, because you will very easily and very quickly get distracted by all the beads and baubles and whozits and whatzits in every aisle. I'll be ordering online in the future or Amazon. Asked an employee if she could help me find something in the jewelry aisle and she told me "I don't know what that is I just work here". Didn't try to ask another associate or look it up, just continued stocking shelves. Most of the employees look unapproachable and give the impression that you're bothering them. Agree with one of the reviews on this location. 5/5 Customer service. The employees I have encountered have always been courteous and helpful. Most times we often forget to write reviews for those who deserve credit for what they're doing right. I also agree that the only downside is the number of employees when check out gets busy. It seems though that they're working on that on my recent visit. I hope they update their fabric pricing system as it is a bit outdated. I encountered a minor problem with an employee not writing my prices correctly. Upon checkout, I had to go back to the fabric department for the ticket fix in order to receive the price adjustment. However, all employees were apologetic and kind. I had not minded because of their professionalism in fixing the issue. Honestly, they were all pleasant to work with. Yep it was the last day in July and already the Christmas stuff was on the shelves. As was all the fall stuff. Now's the time to shop and plan for that so it was fun to see. --Nice frames for not a lot of coin. I have been to this location twice...so do they have any friendly workers? Both times but the best experience but Last night I was shopping .. just browsing.. I told myself when I see an employee I would ask for help finding what I came in for. After 15 minutes I finally saw an employee, I went up to her and asked for direction finding what I needed, she looked so annoyed that I approached her, then pointed to the direction where I should look.. no here let me show you.. or a smile .. or anything. now see i normally dont have a horrible experience at this store but today was 100% one of the worst. i was shopping for those cute little vines you put in your room and some painting supplies and rubber bands. during my shopping i had a feeling i didn't have my debit card so i began to look in my bag just to make sure i did. an employee proceeded to follow me around relentlessly after seeing me look for my card in my bag. i understand that there is theft in that store but i do not at all appreciate how rude and intense she was while following me. everywhere i went she went too along while whispering about me in the open to the other employees . all because they assumed i was stealing. i literally had a breakdown in my car bc of it. i will never be coming back to this location. read more

Waited almost 30 minutes to check out, then when i get home find they didn't bag half my things so i called and they said they had it. Went the next day to get it and the girl only looked one place and told me they didn't have it and to just go find my stuff again. They didn't have a couple things i bought on the shelf and nobody wanted to help me. Left the store with no refund and none of my other purchased merchandise. Very poor customer service. Love the store. Love the fabric dept. bead section, art supplies, everything, except one of the employees. I was in there yesterday, the first woman that cut all my fabric, and patient with what I needed, waiting on my daughter to call back with colors and amts. of fabric needn't Got to the register and realized we forgot to cut one of the fabrics. Well paid for the fabrics then went back to the cutting counter, had to ring the bell, had to wait for a new person to come and cut. Well there was someone else there with a child who I'd say was maybe 2/3 yrs. old she wanted to ring the bell, I said it's just a bell, let her ring it, not hurting anything, then Linda comes to the table to cut, right away she says don't let her keep ringing the bell (why she's not hurting anything), then I told her I needed that black fabric on the back table and she was just snippy the whole time like she was interrupted and wasn't happy to be cutting in the fabric department, she was very unpleasant, I asked her a few questions and I don't know she said real crabby like, no smile nothing, I wish I would have said something to her about her attitude because it totally sucked. read more

Great selection and I totally would have shopped longer but there was this awful, high-pitched beeping noise that you could hear at the front of the store every 10 seconds. After standing in line for 15 minutes (yeah you heard me...15 freakin' minutes) I asked the cashier what it was and she replied that it's their security system that their manager won't let them turn off. I've worked retail for ten years and have had to put up with a lot of irritating noises that you eventually learn to tune out, but this gal claims the staff is "subject to torture" with this particular noise. If you have sensitive ears like me (I'm not kidding, they were about to bleed), I'd stick with the competitor craft stores because that noise, accompanied with the a store playlist that can put the most caffinated person to sleep, just ain't worth it! read more

The store was fabulous! The customer service, however, was AWFUL! I talked to a cashier about a 40% off coupon and she told me I could not use it on an item that wasn't full price. The item was a picture frame, there are signs all over saying picture frames are 50% off everyday. This would mean that the regular or full price of the item is 50% off the marked price. I asked to speak to the manager who essentially told me the same thing, but was extremely rude about it and then went on to say "we don't ever give 90% off an item". Funny, because if you take 50% off an item, and then 40% off the item its actually 70% off total, not 90%. Anyways, Hobby Lobby is essentially increasing prices to sell things at "50%" off everyday to ensure that customers can never use coupons on those items. read more
