I'm having a Pink Christmas this year so, I thought Hobby Lobby would be a good place to look for Pink Merch. I was right. I found a bright Pink sparkly tinsel for $1.99. Here's what I discovered. It was crowded because of the 50% off sale. Lots of people in the aisles but, it wasn't too bad. All the lanes were open and filled w a line. It went by fast. I chatted w a nice lady in line, she said, they no longer have 20% off coupons. She said, it's been like that since COVID? Who knew. Also, they have Restrooms in the corner of the store. I had a great time time looking around at anything and every thing. It seems like I learn something new each time I go to Hobby Lobby. read more

Well it's that time of year....The Holidays, which always bring great deals. As I stand in line to check out with about 150-200 people I see that there are 10 checkout lines and only half are being used. I have never been a retail manager but as someone with a little sense I would think this is the time of year when the bulk of sales happen. It would only make sense to have all checkout lines open instead of multiple employees just walking around the store with glazed over looks on their faces. Who is managing this store. As finances allow, I've been taking pictures and documents to Hobby Lobby in order to get framed. The staff working that department are wonderful, especially in helping with such old documents as what I bring in. They answer all my questions and accomodate the best they can. When possible, the store helps me save money by not pushing unwanted services or product. In addition, the selection of frames to choose from is amazing. When choosing Hobby Lobby for my framework, I didn't even bother comparing them with Michael's or other pretenders. Please do the same. Hobby Lobby is the place to do business. read more

I came here to pick up a couple of things and ended up leaving with more. They were having a big sale and there were multiple lines of people waiting to check out. I picked up a cute metal frame, scrapbook paper, markers and a giftcard. They have moved things around since I was last here and I appreciate that they have a stocked inventory of items. The bathrooms, specifically the toilets are stained and need to be updated. My cashier was cordial and quick with scanning my items. I love how friendly the other customers are while you are waiting in line. Apart from the bathrooms and the long lines, I enjoyed the visit and look forward to returning. read more

I've frequented Hobby Lobby for decades. This rating isn't about this particular location but more about the entirety of the business itself. This isn't political or religious issues, this is about them moving away from a true craft store to being a home decorations store with some pricey items. It was disappointing when they stopped taking and offering coupons, there isn't any military discounts that I'm aware of, and even the rewards program has been nerfed. Sad. I praise them for standing by their beliefs, tho I'm unhappy with how limited the crafts are becoming here. This visit went in for the puzzles. A product that's coming harder to find these days. I will say that they had a good selection. Little more expensive than ordering from an online retailer, but they did have a lot of puzzles in stock. That we were happy about. read more

I never knew how challenging it was to do returns at Hobby Lobby- it is like pulling teeth. I got items that I thought were a part of the Christmas clearance, but they ended up being regular-price or sale-price items. First off, you need to do the return at the store you bought it from. It was not my local Hobby Lobby, so I had to drive to the otherside of town. Then, apparently you need to bring in all of the items that were in that transaction- not just the items you are wanting to return. The reason why is because they "can't" identify what items you bought from the receipt, so they need to scan everything. If you already threw away the tags for the item you were keeping, then you're either screwed if you give up easily or they'll need to look at the cameras. If they're too lazy to look at the cameras (which they probably will be), then you just have to stand your respectfully or they won't give you any refund. Just know at this location they won't be respectful back. They will give you attitude but be patient of you want your return. The returns lady named Shelly was passive aggressive with me from the get-go and blamed me for not knowing things like Grinch Hot Cocoa Mix and Christmas soaps would not be on clearance. The manager allowed me to get most of my money back in the end ($19) which I was grateful for because I know it was not part of the company practice to allow that without all of the items with me, but I was still short $3 because they didn't give me the full return for the Christmas M&M's even though it was clear that the item labeled "Candy" on the receipt was for that. They kept gaslighting me and giving excuses for that one. For a "Christian"-based company, this company lacks morality by putting way too much pressure on employees to not do returns. Many of these "Christian"-based companies are only truly interested in money- they're not looking out for at all for the customer or the employee. Shelly and the manager need to get over themselves, stop acting like they owe this company everything, and realize who they need to redirect their anger towards. They need to make it known to the company what is troubling for them as employees or just leave if they can't handle the difficulties. read more

In general, I really like Hobby Lobby in any location. I stopped in on Black Friday weekend & it was packed. I was going to actually purchase some things, but it was simply too crowded to wait in line for 30 minutes. I won't judge them on the crowds though, because they can't help that. The store itself seemed well maintained and as usual, had a great variety of home decor, etc. Not a bad experience and I would shop again....on a less crowded day. read more

Monica the assistant manager made an announcement on the intercom to security to adjust cameras to the section I was shopping in then Monica the assistant manager began following us on every single while we were shopping on when I asked why she was following us. She said she wasn't. We said please stop following us. We haven't done anything. She said she wasn't following us. She refused to give me the store number when I said why won't you give me the store number she said you'll get it on your receipt. I said I'm no longer buying anything after hesitation. She finally gave me the store number she was incredibly rude. It was very embarrassing. I served in the army for 25 years in and a disabled veteran, there was no cause for her to follow us. I will never shop at the store again. I don't understand the harassment. Perhaps if I was 65 years old and had gray hair I would've been left alone. read more

I went into hobby lobby to get my diploma and license framed and the service was amazing from the start. Michelle, Michelle and Linda are great! It was my first time getting custom framing so they broke it down for me. From frame time to matting. They gave me the option to hold on to my documents a called me to bring them in to be framed. My order was done earlier than expected and Michelle even helped me pick out hardware for the frames and walked them up to the front like a VIP guest! I'll be sure to go back to this location for any framing needs! Better cost than the competitors as well. read more

Came in with my nieces and the lady kept following us around the store, literally all the way till we checked out, another old white lady looked at us like 3 times and whispered to the lady "make sure they..." I didn't get to hear the rest but it was obvious they were talking about us. Then another lady rudely told my nieces "put stuff back where you find it." Winnie the manger on duty didn't do a very good job in knowing exactly was on sale. I came in this afternoon to buy some items and I went through my purchase online and on the web to see if I may have overlooked some sale items in my basket since the lines were long. Let's be clear because I didn't know. Sometimes there are items on sale on their website that isn't on sale in store (interesting information that was shared with me, that I didn't know) therefore, the store will not honor in person. This is extremely confusing because in some stores if it's a sale on their website they'll honor price in store. Not the case here. So as I tried to relate to the clerk I did see some of the items on the ad that specified that it was on sale she said no. Then that's Winnie stepped in and agreed. I will admit she at least took the time to glance at the ad that hangs at the front of the store but that's not why I'm writing this review. I'm sad to say that I felt rushed because of the long lines that continued to proceed behind me to hurry and find the part in the ad to prove I was correct. When I decide to give up on my conviction and choose to put these items back. I left with a part of my purchase. Once I got to my car and decided to look again thoroughly in the ad again (this time without feeling hurried) I finally found I was correct. When I came in again to confirm I found the sale price instead of offering an apology or telling me come up to the front of the line so we can get you in and out for our mistake. She told me your items have been put back and I need you to hurry because the store is already closed. And I ended up still waiting in line for longer than I should have. How rude! I don't recommend people come here unless you absolutely have to. I'm disappointed in how I was treated. I try and support Christian based companies because I believe it's important but I think this was handle very badly. I know it's a busy season but I don't think there was any sincerity in the approach that was taken today. read more

I went there today to make a return I got in line for returns and there is was just 1person in front of me. The woman that worked there asked me if it was a return. The lady at the terminal was going to do it when the manager named Bobby came up and told her not to. They were changing drawers I asked him how long it was going to take Was it 10 minutes, or an hour since he stopped the other lady from helping me. He said he could make it take an hour if I wanted. That's when I told him I am sick with cancer and wasn't feeling well I went over to another register and got in line Then the lady that was signing off on things for the other people , I guess she was an assistant manager came over and told she could help me with the return I told her I was taking cancer meds and couldn't stand in line for a long time. She was very nice and kind to me Your Manager was rude and insulting I thought your store prides itself having Christian Beliefs. I will never go back there There are other places to go where they care about customers. read more

I was extremely disappointed in how we were treated at this location. The staff followed us around like criminals and even called the police because I put my own cup in my purse. I called the manager after I got home and asked her why and she said we were acting suspicious... We were not acting suspicious we were just shopping. We spent $100, we paid for everything we got. Just had a horrible experience at this store and won't be going back to this location for a long time. Got to the store and while I was selecting a floral arrangement was asked by an employee if o was almost done to what o answered yes and that was going to get the item I decided to take . The manager was rude. When we walked in, he was talking to someone he knew blocking the path. It took three times of saying excuse me before he moved a couple inches. I love Hobby Lobby, and this one sometimes has good stuff on clearance, but the customer service is hit or miss. The cashiers have to manually ring up each item, and if the cashier doesn't realize something is on sale and rings it up full price, you don't realize until you're home and looking at your receipt. I was looking for an item recently and when I asked for help, the associate said, "If you don't see it, we don't have it." Ok, that's fine but at least check and make sure I am looking in the right place. On the flip side, they had some cabinet knobs I wanted on sale, but didn't have enough in stock, so they gave me a rain check and even called me when they came in to let me know they were in, which was nice and unexpected (I didn't even remember giving them my phone number but it was on the rain check). read more

They charged my 10$ for a Masters Artist Soap. Upon trying to return it they accused me of trying the return the "5$ soap for a the 10$ item" they rung me up for. Despite having a floor manager, art area person and a cashier looking over the receipt they couldn't fathom that they may have made a mistake. They said the only way they could give me a refund was to go over the video footage of me buying the items. After 15 minutes waiting for a resolution I left and will never return. Customer service here sucks. Totally unfriendly, unaccommodating staff. Even the manager's bad and condescending. They clearly don't like their jobs. Example: I visited this place one afternoon with my mom to do some holiday shopping. When she picked up a mini Christmas tree from a shelf, the wooden base of the tree detached itself from the tree and fell onto my mom's foot. At first, she thought her toe was broken. (It wasn't). Nevertheless, it hurt. So I went and found an employee a short distance away and asked if they could help. "Excuse me, my mom hurt her foot, do you possibly have some ice we could use?" Employee: "uhhh...no we don't have anything like that.." She said with wide eyes and stared as if I was an alien. My mom stood up from where she was sitting on the floor and said "Well your product fell on me, is there anything you can do?" The employee still stuttered. She did not offer any kind of help. She didn't even approach my mom, she remained 7 feet away from her. Around this time, a fellow customer handed my mom a bandaid. Eventually we got the manager out, and he was just as bad as the rest. The worst part was not the fact that they didn't have ice or a first aid kit, the worst part was their attitudes. What's sad is that they brand themselves as a Christian based store, and then have worse customer service than Walmart. After shopping here for years and years, I guess this is it. Love the store but the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Just a few examples... I make a weekly trip and have stood in line for 20 minutes or more many times including right now. I left a case of mason jars in my cart and drove Zoff one time and the staff was no help and shrugged it off and wouldn't even go check the lot when I called. I knocked off a bucket of beads one time and heard 2 staff members laugh and run off whispering they better move it or they would have to clean up! Customer service once again is really horrible. They had these specific party favors I needed. Way over priced but they were 30% off so I bought my 3 packs. I knew I should've bought that last one they had left. Get home. Guest list updates and I only needed 1 out of the last pack I left there yesterday after spending well over$250.00:/. I call at 7:30 tonight to see if they have that 1 pack left and they did! Asked if they would hold it. No they say. NO! I couldn't believe it now what? I live over 40 minutes from the store. Talked with Charles the manager he says-no!. He's saying no to hold a $3.99 product even less!! With 30% off! For a customer that was just there! And I can't get back before close! It's Friday early evening, they have two registers open. Two. And one is being taken up with an issue. I love Hobby Lobby, but I rarely come to this location because it's always like this. I asked the manager if they only had two registers opened and she replied, "yes". That's it. Meanwhile, I joined the line with 5 people ahead of me. It wasn't until the line bogged down more and the poor cashier at the other register with the problem was still struggling, did the manager call another cashier to assist. I would try and go to another location if possible, I'm always disappointed with this one. read more

Piss Poor Customer Service! I waited to get one pic framed for 15 minutes with only one person at the time being helped. Another customer walked up and was assisted with no wait time. A simple "hello I'll be with you next" would have sufficed. When the issue was addressed with the associate, she didn't care at all. This place doesn't deserve the two stars it has. My god, service sucks so much. I can't believe they got rid of that worker Cayce. He was the best one there. I remember when I didn't know where the framing was for my cat collection was he tapped me on my back and said "excuse me sir, I can tell that you don't know where the framing is. Here let me show you!" I didn't even ask him! He asked me! Such a good employee! He guided me to the wonderful isle they called Framing and Accessories. I felt like I was being guided by Jesus. He gave me the Origin, and brief description of each framing piece. I was so astounded that I bought 5 instead of 4 framing pieces. I knew my wife of 50 years Martha was going to kill me for going over the budget . I didn't care! It was the least I could do to help out that saint Cayce. Then the next time I went to the Hobby Lobby or should I say Sloppy Shoppy. Cayce wasn't there to guide me. I ran into multiple selves and displays. Did I mention I was blind? I fell down and I asked someone to get the manager. The manager came took my vision impaired cane and broke it then threw it on my face and kicked Me then said, "sucks to be old grandpa" then spit spit in my mouth. Then kicked me again. I felt like that kid from Ferguson lying there for 30 minutes until my wife finally came and got me and took me to the hospital, I broke my Armedeus Spinal Extension my uvula and my appendix. The medical bills cost me about $67,000 me and my wife couldn't eat Lubys early bird special for 6 months paying the bills off. It was the worst experience I've had in my life. I went to this store to grab a few items for my daughter's birthday party. Because I was unable to find a certain type of marker, I asked a manager for assistance. Not sure, but I think his name was Paul. He motioned for me to go to a certain area with his hand. I still was reluctant to find what I was looking for, so I went to him again out of frustration. He stated that I was lazy and mumbled a few racist comments. I asked him to repeat what he said and did not but I'm sure of what I heard. I left the store without any purchases and immediately called the corporate office in Oklahoma. I reported the incident to someone who was suppose to handle it. She supposedly took down my name and number, to check with the store about what I was saying and assured me that she would return my call. This is disappointing. I've done a lot of shoppping at Hobby Lobby. But I have a friend who works there during the Xmas rush and she hates it. Now I learn about this. I'm very disturbed by Hobby Lobby's lawsuit attempting to deny women access to some forms of birth control. I've read the reviews for Hobby Lobby on Hulen and frankly am stunned. I've been in numerous HLs and have had a great experience at everyone of them. Probably the best one is in Amarillo, Tx....nicest, most helpful people you will ever meet. I cannot validate or refute any of the negative posts here but based upon my own experience, I find these difficult to believe.....especially the one where the elderly man was abused. My inner most being tells me this is not totally factual. If this were true, HL could be held liable. Furthermore, concerning the issue of HL being forced to pay for birth control, the comments were over the top and I strongly suspect this was a 'put-up/paid for/solicited' comment by liberals doing what they do best.....slander.BC is a very personal issue/decision and should be left to the individual. Commercial businesses, churches, etc should never be forced to pay for something that individuals can take care of on their own. Forcing christians to go against their personal religious beliefs is UNconstitutional...FACT!!!.. There are various means for contraceptives...one is called 'abstinence'. HL and other businesses should never be held responsible for unwanted pregnancies. Next, liberals will want tax payers to pay for abortions. NOT!!!! As for prices, HL has great prices............great sales,great selection, etc. As a crafter, I am able to find many good deals at HL.....and BTW......I so enjoy the christian music as opposed to being blasted out of the building. My family went to the hobby lobby on Hulen st in Fort worth tx on the 7th when my little girl with special needs pooped in her pull up ...that hobby lobby bathroom was out of ordered we ended up having to go out to the car to change for pull up..when we got out to the car we notice that it was way worse then we though so as my mom was cleaning her up I went inside to ask for like 2 of your shopping bag and I explained why and all I got was a nope cant do it..so I left mad we had to find other way to get all that stuff together..after we was done we went to the manager and all she could say was we was worried about shop lifting..but i was just going out to the car and I explained the reason ..we was not even done shopping and I shower her the cart of stuff we was going to buy and we wasn't even done we left the cart with her never to return..we ended up going across the road to Michael's where I alone ended up spending over $70 and my sister about the same..and we had a more enjoyable time...I've never felt that way when going to a hobby lobby and we are crafter ...we love doing all kinda stuff..we will not be returning anymore..I've told all my friends and family the way we was treated and they are all craft ppl too... read more
