Well maintained and neatly laid out! Lots of deals today. I felt like every where I looked something was 50% off. Which is always nice. They had some Christmas stuff out and it took everything in me not to walk down the aisles and just throw Christmas stuff in my cart. This is one of my favorite stores. Home Decor paradise and a little bit of everything else. This is my go to store for decorating my House, they have everything I need and more. They have a big selections of arts,crafts,artificial flowers,party, wedding, baby shower supplies, and more. The Staff is always polite and helpful. Of all the places I hadn't reviewed, I can't believe hobby lobby was one! As an avid crafter I frequent a few craft stores but I don't get to hobby lobby as often since it's out of the way from where I live now. I have never really interacted with the staff so I don't have much to say there. But the store set up is great! I can always find supplies for a project I'm working on and supplies for projects I didn't know I wanted to do. I recently started making jewelry and the bead section is great! All types of colors, shapes and sizes. The prices were competitive and even if they weren't they are always having a sale or you can use a coupon. I also cricut craft and their vinyl section is also great! I didn't have a chance today to check out the paper section but I will on my next visit. They also have a wide variety of furniture and home decor. So if you aren't crafty and don't want to make everything yourself they have pre-made items to put the finishing touch on any room in your home. read more

When I first started up painting again after a long hiatus since high school, Hobby Lobby had everything I needed. However, as I have begun to advance in my practice, I am finding that Hobby Lobby pales in comparison to its competitors in terms of professional quality paint selection. They recently wiped out their Liquitex Professional Heavy Body Acrylic Paint selection and replaced it with their lower quality in-house brand, Master's Touch. As I mentioned in my previous review, Master's Touch is a great beginner paint, but it pales in comparison to Golden and Liquitex Professional. Terrible customer service and horrible price guarantee. It is always so disorganized. You stand In line to return items and you are told that the register cannot take a return. Ever notice nothing is scanned.....hmmm. Why!? Then items that were purchased last week are now on sale and they won't do a price adjustment if you don't have the items with you.....so I guess when you do a craft project you have to disassemble it and bring all the pieces back in to get the sale price, utter bs. Went to Hobby Lobby for some quick holiday items on a Saturday afternoon (5/28). At time to check out, only 2 cash registers open with a single file line going about 1/2 way to the back of the store on the far wall. Counted no less than 40 people in line. The manager, standing like a statue not allowing people to queue in line like every other store. We and others opted not to stand in line for an hour and just abandoned our carts. It was my first time being in a Hobby Lobby and I had no idea how big their selection was. They have everything and the prices are so low.

I had a $100 store credit (exchange card). I needed 20 necklaces. This location only had 2 so I ordered them online instead. They have no way to use the exchange card online. I called the store and asked if I could do a store return and repurchase in the store using the card. They assured me it could be done. I ALSO asked the customer service rep in the store if it could be done. She said yes so I stood in a half hour line. At the register they told me it could not be done. I referred her to the rep. She said she had "misunderstood" me. Really??? I had had on a mask so I had held up my blue exchange card and had showed it to her so there would be NO misunderstanding..... Really??? I finally went to Hobby Lobby! I've been reading about this place from friends who are somewhat addicted to crafting etc. The selection was great. This place was bigger than any craft store I have ever been to. It had something for everyone. It seemed a little messy in places, but I'm sure that had more to do with the countless people wandering the aisles picking things up then placing them elsewhere. I witnessed this a few times. The sales were nice and the mobile coupon for 40% off from their website was very helpful. Make sure to check for coupons and stipulations before you go. Some items seemed priced higher than Michaels which is just down the street. They did not allow me to use a Michaels coupon as they do at AC Moore. The staff were friendly and helpful. It's funny that the awesome amount of items is a good and bad thing. Good for finding what you need but bad because you will definitely spend more time and probably more money than you originally intended. read more

We stumbled upon Hobby Lobby by accident, but it was a great find! The store is very similar to a Michaels or AC Moore, but with a larger selection! They even have a large selection of home decor items (lamps, knick knacks, wall hangings) that you may not find at the other craft stores. I lucked out and found some very neat cross-stitching kits! The hubby also found a collectible box frame that he was looking for. This place is definitely worth the trip! The only downfall is that they do not accept competitors coupons, but you can sign up for their own newsletter and coupons via the Hobby Lobby website. read more

If your planning a wedding a need some props and wedding ideas and items (glasses, signature books, favors) this is the place to come. Party supplies, they got it. Crafting supplies, they got it. Baby shower games and crafts, they got it. They have a brooch aisle which I looooove. There is just so much in here that you want to buy just because. Yarn, onesies, beads, paints, any and everything an artist may need is available here. The frame section is great also. Just so many colors, sizes and styles to choose from. The pictures, scriptural art, I love it all! It really makes you want to revamp your house. So many options. I wish there was one closer to my home, but there doesn't seem to be too many in our area. This place is HUGE, and is chock full of all types of stuff - from arts & crafts, home decor, and furniture. I didn't see the whole store, but I did spend an ample amount of time in the yarn section (it's an addiction). If you're looking for cheap yarn in a variety of colors, check this place out. If you want higher quality yarn, go to your local yarn shop. Anyway, the only thing that was a little weird was the fact that they don't have a bar code scanning system. They have to manually type in each item number, and of course my boyfriend grabbed the one item in the store that the system wouldn't recognize and had a missing price sticker. The cashier had to get another staff member to find out the price, and he had to look through this huge book of items which took about 15 minutes. We weren't in a rush, so it was fine, but I felt bad for the staff. You would think a store of that size would have bar code scanners.... Make sure your item at least has a price sticker on it to avoid this :) BUT if it does happen, the staff is really friendly which helps. I'm giving three stars for now because there wasn't enough time for me to see the entire store. I will definitely update this review once I return, and I'm sure my rating will increase. read more

I usually love Hobby Lobby, and never experienced an issue at another location. But I came to this location for fabric and other sewing materials. I made my selections and went to the counter to get it cut, I rang the bell for service as the sign says, but noticed no one was in the department so I went to search for an employee, which is fine and it has happened before. I found one and asked for someone to cut my fabric. Without even responding they walked away... not sure if that was a yes, I went back to the fabrics to wait for another 15-20 minutes and no one showed up. I left all the material, including everything that wasn't fabric, and left. The entire time I was waiting employees would walk by and as soon as I went to go ask for help they just looked away and kept walking the opposite direction. read more

If only this store were closer to me. They've got some stuff that Michael's and AC Moore just don't have. They've got some higher end crochet thread (Lizbeth's) that I could order online, but I do love to actually see and touch it before purchasing. Their selection of frames at a variety of price points is awesome. Plus they sell a larger variety of pre-cut mattes. In the fine arts department, they carry full sheets of 100% cotton watercolor sheets -- Arches, and the rarer Montval were represented. They have a variety of pads of varying quality -- from the very cheap Canson XL to the very pricey Canson Heritage. They carry Winsor Newton artist and professional watercolour tubes. As you enter the store, there is usually several aisles dedicated to seasonal items. Be sure to check for clearance items -- half the fun is finding what you want dirt cheap. She was very nasty and act as if she did not feel like working. Love the selection! Customer service (manager) very rude and nasty. First time to shop here and newly moved to the area. I arrived at 7:45 not know they closed at 8. A very nice employee greeted me at the door and nicely told me that they would close at 8. I said no problem and was going to leave. She was very welcoming and said to go ahead on the door. Within 20 steps inside the door I had the store manager telling me they were closing. I asked if she could tell me where the craft paint was and I would be finished. She literally escorted me to the paint stood there as I tried to find what I needed. I asked her a question so I could get what I needed and get out. She actually told me it was 8, the store was closed and she DID NOT have time. I grabbed a paint bottle and she escorted me to the front to check out. Hate to go here but I had to think to myself as a Christian myself I would not act in such a way. I say this only because Hobby Lobby has always openly professed their Christian values. read more

He is very rude and it's clear he hates customer service. He will argue with you about sales and talk over top of you. I have never seen someone just so flat out rude. I have a love/hate relationship with Hobby Lobby. I don't agree with all their conservative "Christian" values, I don't like that much of their merchandise is off-label brands (I'm guessing it's Hobby Lobby-based as the address on the packaging is from Oklahoma), but I generally find some good deals here - I typically only purchase things that are on sale or if I have a coupon for it. This store is smaller than some I've been to but it was mostly well organized, if a bit tight in the aisles. I didn't encounter many workers here but needed someone to measure trim for me in the fabrics department. The woman there was complimentary on my selections, gave me the skinny on how often those items went on sale, and was generally very friendly and helpful. The cashier was a bit ditzy and started to bag my purchases despite me saying that I brought my own shopping bag. I had a bunch of small jewelry items that she had to look through the sale flyer in order to ring them up correctly. She commented that they have to ring each item in manually. (Yeah, like back in the 20th century.) I always thought that (among other things - see my second sentence) was really backward thinking, Hobby Lobby. read more

Hobby Lobby ought to be my kind of place, but I'm very disturbed by Hobby Lobby's lawsuit attempting to deny women access to some forms of birth control. I'm not shopping at Hobby Lobby until they drop this lawsuit, and I hope no one else will either. What kind of birth control a woman uses is definitely not her employer's business. I like having a choice of stores, and one criterion I use to make my choice is how they treat their customers--not just in the store, but as people. I don't work for them, but women stick together, and we don't think it's any of their business what kind of birth control their female employees use. But they are suing to try to deny female employees access to some forms of birth control. They should stick to selling hobby products and stay out of personal issues. I will not shop there, I will not take my grandchildren there, and I hope no one else shops there. There are plenty of other hobby shops that aren't anti-woman. read more

Who said that home goods was the absolute best.?! Yes they have a plethora of things that you can use for decorative purposes, but Hobby Lobby has them beat!!! Every other week they mark down pretty much 95% of the store, and this week happened to be the perfect time. 50% off of pretty much everything! From crafts, to mirrors, to furniture... This place is awesome. I didn't get to walk around the entire store because I was hungry lol, but I have to go to this store and spend AT LEAST an hour checking out every aisle, nook and crannie of this place. Hobby Lobby is as craft/fabric/home decor store all in one! I have never paid full price for an item because every other week they run specials for the different departments or I just use my mobile 40% off one regular item coupon. The selection is huge. I especially love their home section and picture frames. My only negative is their cash register system. Like another reviewer stated, they do not scan items, but rather key in each item individually. This is especially annoying when you have to do a return. I'm not sure if they still do, but at one point they had to photocopy your receipt whenever you did a return. read more

As a crafty person, this place is home. They have a large paper selection with many types of papers that you don't see every day. They regularly have sales and discounts like half off jewelry making items and tabletop decor, 40% off paper craft items, and so much more. I went to this store to get some things for myself, but also to see if they had a particular product in stock for my husband. Other craft stores did not have it, so I thought I'd try this one. It's a huge store with a great selection of craft supplies, but like other craft stores, it's hard to find anything without the help of staff. I approached one lady who looked really bothered, and when I asked about the product, she looked at me like I was crazy. I showed her what it was called, and what it looked like on my phone to show her that such a product really did exist, and she rudely said, "No." I'd rather help a store stay in business than do most of my shopping online, but after my experience at this Hobby Lobby, I'll go online to order this product. read more
