Mindy provided a very personable, warm and extremely responsive service, made every effort to respond to my inquiry on Adopt-A-Pet and approving my application as well as just answering my questions and chatting with me about my potential cat baby's personality traits and his background story. She responded to emails as late as 11PM on a weekend and her demeanor was always welcoming and reassuring, like an old, caring friend. Mindy's words and actions convey that she truly truly love all of her rescued cat babies and she only wants what's best for them and she works extremely hard to find them good homes. I was very sad that neither cat babies from her rescue matched the particular personality I was looking for (I was trying to fill this big hole in my heart with the tragic loss of a stray cat named Cookie I cared for) and I really wished that given all the hard work she and her daughter put into, I'd adopt either Teddy or Khabib. Despite these big, affectionate sweet boys were not the best match I was searching for, I don't think any less of them, I sincerely hope they will find their forever home they deserve and I cannot be more grateful for Mindy's time, patience and understanding she's extended me and my family. If I had more capacity for an additional cat baby in the future after finding THE ONE, Mindy and her rescue is the first place I'd check out. If you are also searching for your feline soulmate, please look no further!!

I went to Petsmart to adopt a kitten names Cookies. I filled out the application, and was told by Petsmart to call them and see if I could get an immediate answer. I called them 17 times, no answer.....I was livid... I was even more upset when I get the notification via text message, that they would not allow me to adopt Cookies because I said we would "Declaw" if he started scratching or getting aggressive....I didn't even know what that meant...Again, I was pissed... We were messaging back and forth for well over 30 minutes and they explained to me what declawing was, and why it was bad for cats. Thank you, I was given useful information of something I knew nothing about. Granted, Cookies, was going to live his best life with us, but it wasn't meant to be. On to the next.

Have you ever looked at pics of yourself that are old and realize you still have those clothes? Same clothes in all the pics. The people who work here are super sweet! Apparently, on the last Friday of every month they have a $2.00 sale of all clothing except the boutique items. I am so happy! I am about to go home and donate half of my clothing... I buy an item... I get rid of an item. Kinda like chicken math lol . This is also a fundraising event for school kids so there is that also. Come out and support by either spending or donations.

Instead of educating me, as I didn't know it was not ok to get on a mini, my son is 1 1/2, my son does not ride him all the time. He got on him a few times. The person I got him from broke him and rode him all the time. I'm assuming she thought we rode him which is not the case. He is a pet like our dog and grazes out. For her to scold me as she did and didn't even hear what I was saying and hung up on me, is very disrespectful. Definitely a crazy person. I foster, volunteer and take very good care of all my animals. Thankfully, I'm able to get a mini from somewhere else that needs a good home. I was trying to do it here so they can have a good life, but obviously this person has major issues and this is the type of person that goes crazy on someone for no reason. "I tried to educate you" The fact that you're lying is very disturbing. To make it very clear again we do not ride him, I specifically said he came from a situation where he was ridden all the time, they broke him to ride and they stopped caring about him. Now he is a pet. Not mad at all you don't want to adopt to me, I have plenty of options. What is irritating to me is that you yelled at me and hung up on me. I am a grown woman and you sound like an older woman. But your behavior is that of a child. You started screaming at me and hung up on me. I was trying to talk and you were talking over me. You heard what you wanted to hear. No wonder you have so many minis in your care. It's hard to deal with you. We're fine with not adopting from you. We have an appointment to see another mini today. I was greeted immediately and given a "tour" around this cozy clothing boutique. They have many different styles of clothing both professional and going out on the town. I like that they actually have sizes for full figured women. There is even a little section of cute bathing suits. The fitting room door is super cute and will make you feel fancy with the sparkling silver door. They have many accessories that are also quite different than you will see anywhere else. I found a really cute skirt that I am going to use as a summer strapless dress. After asking permission to take pictures I found out that she was actually the owner. This store was named Kevi10 in honor of her daughter that was born with special needs. Joanna decided to open a non profit business that could facilitate people with special needs being gainfully employed. I think that is a true for blessing to do for others. There are many reasons to shop at this boutique but helping her to provide a dream of having a real job to someone who most wouldn't hire to me is amazing! The other awesome thing is that this is also a pickup spot for people who order from "Wish". There is also a place next door that does that so be careful to check the address. Opened in Fall 2021, Elder Love is a little hole in the wall with super friendly staff, an awesome playlist, and (as it's street name would suggest) an eclectic mix of vintage and current brands. The assortment of clothes was small as of November 2021. But it was a nice mix of vintage designer and cool trendy styles, for both men and women. For such a small space, it also packs in a wonderful assortment of pictures and artwork, furniture, and dish-ware. It's location is also ideal for a multi-store trip. You can hit Elder Love, Collector's Corner, Goodwill, and the ACS Discovery Store in rapid succession since they are all 5 mins away or less from each other. Flash 50% sales in Mondays. After explaining how the section was organized, when the newest ones came in, etc., he took information on the book I was searching for and promised to hold it for me if it came in. After several return visits later, he advised me that it hadn't shown up yet. A few weeks later I found it at home and let them know. I was very appreciative that Frank had been kind enough to keep an eye out for me.
