I lost my job over a year ago and was having to sell out and move in with family. Moving from a…read moretwo bedroom mobile to a bedroom in my son's small apartment meant I had to get rid of a lot. I had a bad experience with a Recycler ad and no one in the area selling used furniture was buying due to the economy. I found out about Hoarders through word of month in my park and called. They arrived on time, took everything and were done in a flash. This is a GREAT organization. They are nonprofit and unlike most thrift stores, they GIVE the items you donate to needy families. Hannah was wonderful and really cares about helping her community. Their motto is they give Junk a Purpose. They'll take most anything and can make some repairs if stuff is broken. Clothes, shoes, furniture, kitchen electronics and dishes, TVs, toys, etc. go to help families with nothing. They are certified to take e-wastes, too, and pick up is free. They could even use your help with bottle/can recyclables to help pay for their gas. If you have anything to donate, chose Hoarders and do some good!!!

When I got home I noticed that ALL the fruit that was given to me was moldy and rotten. I had gotten bree cheese that was expired and most everything was expired for about 3 to 4 days already and there was a lot of sweets and candy....... not much to feed a family of 4 on. However 2 gallons of milk are still good for 7 more days. My Mother used to tell me beggars cant be choosy, but moldy/rotten food is like a slap in the face when your already feeling down and out. I thank all the very friendly people working and volunteering.

When I found out about this place through a lady who saw me passing out sandwiches, I couldn't help but extend a hand. So I called and spoke with Luis to see how I could be of assistance and find out about receiving food myself to pass out and this guy and Ms. Ludo were very informative. So me and my son got a rental, headed to the food pantry, and loaded the car up for a trip to the high desert! For those interested in helping this place will guide you every step of the way to make sure you got everything needed. From how to online guides, waiver forums, etc. They even have it mobile app friendly! Just make sure to start early if you're doing deliveries to people's houses so you can see where you're going and to beat the heat. Great bonding and learning experience for me and my son but not only that just a blessing there's a company likes this available to offer such services.

I wish to clarify that the application and requirement of the Tiffany's House of Hope is not as in Menifee Community Cupboard. At Tiffany's House of Hope only things that are required are the ID (and they offer help getting one if your is lost) and proof of income (and again if you don't have one you can use your medical card instead). No Birth Certificates for your children, no immunization records so please don't hesitate to reach out to Tiffany if you are looking for help. This is the reply I received for the owner when I wrongfully accused them of not being Christ like by requiring extra paperwork. Thank you Tiffany for your work and may God, the Lord Jesus Christ, bless you for your work! Earlier Reply from the Owner: "Hello Kelly, My name is Tiffany and I am the founder of Tiffany's House of Hope. Your comment has recently come to my attention, and I would like to thank you for even taking the time to post a comment. As we value your opinion. I strive in every way possible to please God first then man, so with that being said. I see that you said that we are a SCAM!! No disrespect Kelly, but we have fed over 500 families since we have started in 2011, and yes we are a small home based business, and it's because of God's grace and mercy that we are still going strong, we trust God for all things, and He provides for us so that we can provide for others. I don't know who asked you for a birth certificate but that is against our policy. We have never ask for birth certificates, I don't know who told you that but we don't. That is against our policy. I apologize to you for that happening. Also want to say that I am a Christian, I attended Evangelistic Prayer Center for many years as a young adult and there is where is was married, In Los Angeles pastor Jenkins was the pastor there at the time. I was baptized at 13 years old at Mount Mariah Baptist church in Los Angeles. I also was a Christian Debutante from ages 16 to 18 years old with sister Herndan at Academy Cathedral off Crenshaw, in Los Angeles were pastor Dole Heart was the pastor at the time. And now I am a minister of God's word, I am called to help God's people. I don't know if you are a child of God, but if you are I would urge you to reread your own post about me. I don't know you. Kelly You have not even been to Tiffany's House Of Hope, we have no application on file for you we don't know who you are. But you have made some strong accusations about me and my organization, I have never even shaken your hand. But I would ask you to delete this negative post about me, God tells us if you have a problem with someone to talk to him about it. I don't know what made your spirit that mad, but I will pray that God gives you peace of mind. And If you need help we are here for you. God Bless You Kelly, I love you and I'm praying for you Tiffany R Baker" Tiffany B.
