The park was nice, the maintenance guy was nice was my first time in our new camper with my wife. The lady running it or the old woman that we dealt with has a horrible attitude I hope and pray God puts it in check for you. Not only do you just have a piss poor tone of talking, you need to learn to treat and speak to others the way you want to be treated and spoken too, even with your ur disgusting attitude I still treated you with respect. We are young but very respectful, we kept our area clean neat and organized paid for late check out, the lady did not say anything about a specific time we assume my wife gets off at 5 we will leave then. I'm packing up at 4:40 and here comes the wicked witch of the west. Proceeds to bitch about us not being gone telling me we should've been gone I said we paid for late check out she continued to rudely inform me it was at 4:30 I told her charge my card as I'm trying to get out and she keeps on trying to go back and forth and I just continue packing. Recommend if the old miserable unhappy woman isn't there. I'm sure our one review doesn't matter but I felt the need to share my experience. 3 stars for view, -1 for hospitality, overall 2 stars. Get a better desk lady without the piss poor attitude, the maintenance guy I dealt with was nice. read more

We love it here. We hadn't even been here an hour before I already had told my husband we were extending our stay. We've extended it another time since lol. This is a gem. Quiet and beautiful and serene and there is no way you can beat the water front site views. Beyond that, the stars at night over the water have been beyond bright and beautiful - breathtaking! We own land in dark sky country in Colorado and the stars here at night easily rival those. The temps for us have been perfection, so warm during the day and just cool enough at night. Not having to run the AC 24/7 in FL is always a big win our book as full time RVers. Staff have been so friendly and helpful and truly this has been bliss . read more

This place has the best view of any in the west coast of Florida and were lucky to get a spot when we called but didn't make the reservation right at that time, however when we got there the office was closed so we decided to wait since it was only 4PM. It turns out that after 20 minutes of waiting we found out from the people next door that they were the owners. Got A40 right next to the pier with the view of the water, little pricey for the only amenity but that is what it is, you pay for the view, there isn't much else to do but sit back and relax and watch the sunset. read more

This place was highly recommended by several people. We aren't sure why. When we arrived there had been a rearrangement of sights. We no longer were in Tier B and had been moved out by the highway in the furthest Tier C from the beach. The price adjustment was to be credited back to my credit card but after 3 days it had not shown up so I requested a printout. The workers are old and grumpy. The check in lady was frustrated with the owner for shuffling people around. She struggled with the computer and printer that I gathered was old and outdated based on her comments. The internet wouldn't log in according to instructions so I had to take both my phone and laptop over to the office for someone to help. Since we were by the highway we had a lot of truck noise, which was okay until the early morning hours. The worst was the trash truck that rumbles by us at 5:00 the first morning. I went to do laundry and there wasn't a coin change machine. I went to the office at 5:15 and they were closed. The website said they were open until 6:00. Therefore I could only do one load instead of 3 due to lack of coins. This morning as we prepared to leave, my husband went to fill propane tanks. They didn't open until 8:30 so that require two trips. When he got there the second time, the propane was over priced but he was going to buy it anyway until the worker got all cantankerous. Therefore we left without the purchase and he shared his unhappiness with the two cranky workers on duty. They would not give us the owner's contact information nor have him call us. They stated that all complaints were to be made on line. So, here we are! We will continue to try to reach the owner by phone. The park was okay. The view of the beach was there, when you looked through all the other rigs. Not anything special and certainly not worth the price. I hope I don't have to file a claim on my credit card for the adjusted amount. If so, their rating will drop further. read more

Our second year of coming here. Great oceanfront spot BUT....Greatly disappointed in management! We were placed on a site by HoHum Staff, then the next day asked to move over as we were placed on the wrong site. They had a one night camper coming in... we are here for 5 nights yet had to move. There was no budging on their part. They couldn't accommodate us by simply leaving us in place and using the next site for their one night guests. It certainly was a great inconvenience as my husband had a business conference call when they came to tell us we had to move. Also having to restore items for a move to the next spot didn't sit well with me. As I sit here writing this ... the overnight Camper for our previous spot was also placed on the incorrect site. Fortunately he was moved before he was settled in. If you choose to come to HoHum make certain you are on the correct site, as their staff apparently doesn't know the site plan.Definitely won't be back here again. BG read more

Great spot! When we arrived, the staff were friendly, offered us a better spot, and showed us to our site. Clean, quiet, and a great view. Fun bar 5 min away that had a good band! Pat was awesome and even brought around Halloween candy for everyone. We had a good time and ended up staying an extra night! Nothing bad to say about this place. Thanks for a good time! read more

This is the view from from the tier A camp sites. It is a beautiful, quiet, and well kept place to stay. Prices are nice for pristine water front. Fishing dock and place to launch small boats (canoes, kayaks) on site and places down the road to launch bigger boats. Will definitely stay again. read more

Extremely friendly staff--always Next to the water!Quiet. Nice sunrise and sunset. Little to no vehicles riding through Level spots. Spots are not tight like Carabelle Beach Club RV sites. You can spread out here. Plenty of room even with a 34' trailer, truck and car that I have. Additional parking off to the side for a small boat is available as well. Full hook-ups, 50 & 30 amp plug-ins, but no extra outlets such as a 15 or 20 amp 3-prong plug-in, so bring an adapter if you have an outside appliance you want to run on a heavy extension cord. (I bought a RV 30 amp to 15 amp adapter at Camping World for $8. Then with another adaptor, I use the 50 amp hookup for my 30 amp RV.). I like to cook outside on my gas grill and electric skillet. Therefore, with the 30 amp or 50 amp hookup "adaptor" with a heavy extension cord, you will have plenty of power to run any outdoor equipment. IGA grocery store, Dollar General, fuel stations, "Twice The Ice" station, seafood markets, restaurants, and bars located in nearby Carrabelle FL. Just down right peaceful and quiet. St. George Island is about 25 minute drive if you like the nightlife. A huge State public beach with picnic tables, bathrooms and outdoor shower rinse is less than 10 miles away. Ho-Hum is managed daily by RV'ers who stay at the park for a reduced rate/free. These couples are hand-picked by the owner and are The Best. They do it because they enjoy it. Not because they want to stay for free. They stay for several months and understand the RV life. The Maintenance Man is a full-timer who has been there for centuries and really cares for the place. He really helps with any issues you may encounter. Pride and professionalism is evident. I've never been in their bath houses or laundry because my RV is well equipped. So no comments there. No, this place doesn't have a pool, but it's quiet without kids and has much better people staying here with many of them being retirees, like myself. It is ON THE WATER with a dock and I like that. Views are great. I shall return. read more

My husband and I being respectable people stopped by the Ho-Hum park on Memorial Day weekend, because we live about 80 miles away and we were intrigued to see if it was somewhere we would recommend to family possibly wanting to stay there, a rude woman stopped by us with her dog and proceeded on telling us it's private property and you can't just stop by to smoke a cigarette and throw your bits on the ground. We were not and I wouldn't recommend nor would I stop by there again, in fact I may write as many bad reviews as I possibly can! I cannot tell you enough how absolutely unprofessional she was! A very negative experience shopping around!! Treat others as you would want to be treated, poor customer service from a supposed owner! read more

I have stayed at Ho Hum RV Park several times during the 2015-2016 Fall and Winter seasons (and hope to be there again soon). All of my friends have heard me say this is my favorite RV Park - and I've been travelling full time for 3 years so that is saying a LOT. Clean, well maintained, friendly staff and I have always felt very safe - which means a lot since I am a woman travelling by myself. The park maintenance man, Dennis, was an absolute gem!! As a newbie, I had lots of questions about my RV and how various things worked and he was always quick with a reply and offers to help. Walking my dogs on the beach or sitting and watching the sea life swim by was exhilarating! Stingrays, mullets jumping, dolphins and black tip sharks were a daily sight. I don't fish, but loved watching the action as various fish were caught and reeled in. I've made some great friends there and hope to see them again soon!! I see someone has posted two extremely ugly reviews of Ho Hum recently and will probably want to attack me now since I am disagreeing with his statements - but Ho Hum is one of the best RV Parks in the Florida Panhandle. Some people get a very sick, twisted and evil thrill from trolling and posting ugliness and attacking the good in life. Please ignore his statements and focus on the Ho Hum I have experienced. It's better than Ho-Hum. Bathrooms are very clean. Staff is awesome. It's right on the water. Probably fine for the big rigs, but sites are relatively exposed - both in terms of shade and privacy, the only downfall for us in our teardrop trailer. read more

Great campground. We parked nose-in facing the water- what a great view!!! Level, gravel parking spots with 50amp/water/sewer. Plenty of room for each space. The bathrooms and laundry were spotless. Our hosts were gracious and helpful. This is not a resort park, it's a great place to relax next to the gulf and visit with fellow RV'ers. We will be back! read more

This park is a breath of fresh air and what the RV lifestyle is all about. Great people, clean amenities and just a wonderful relaxing atmosphere. On occasion the neighbors will break out a few bottles of wine and some snacks and have an impromptu party for everyone. The dock has great fishing and the dolphins frequently come in within 20 feet of the shoreline chasing fish. There used to be a resident shark that would come swim around the dock but a fisherman outside the park recently ended his presence. This place is not fancy but it has everything you need and personality to boot. Hands down one of our favorite places. read more

Our first visit and guarantee it won't be our last. It was the most beautiful and relaxing vacation in a long time. The Hosts were all friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The Park itself was very clean and well maintained. Yes, no fancy resort amenities. Who cares...you have about a half mile of beautiful natural beach to enjoy, and the most wonderful sunrises and sunsets you can imagine. We are already planning our next trip to Ho Hum! read more
