Wasn't greeted when I walked in, there's 2-3 different music stations playing, took the stylist 4 hours to cut and dye my hair. My hair turned out good but she stained my forehead and there was dye all over in my ears that she didn't clean out. I do not recommend signing up for their monthly tanning. You'll sign an agreement that says you're in control of the payment and can cancel with 30 days written notice, and then when you do try to cancel they'll let you know that by 30 days, they really mean 60 days. They want you to submit your notice 30 days before the next billing cycle, which they won't cancel but will make you pay again. I'm paying for 72 days after submitting my "30 day cancellation." Bad business, snotty girls and the 72 days I'm paying for I won't even use because the "managers" tried to make me feel like an idiot when I questioned the agreement. I'm not the first to have this issue, unfortunately found out after that several friends have had the same issue. I urge anyone else who has this problem to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau as I did. Might not stop them, but the more people voice these kind of issues the more word will get out so that less people are affected. read more

I was a little nervous about going here after reading the mixed reviews here. BUT I had a coupon for a price I couldn't resist and I live up the street so I could save money on gas by walking there. I had an appointment with Megan. She did an awesome job. She listened to what I had to say about what I wanted for my hair. She gave me a great shampoo including a quick scalp massage. Then she gave me a great hair cut. She turned me away from the mirror as she styled it, so it was a surprise when she turned me around. The cut wasn't quite what I was expecting, but in a good way!! The cut really flatters my face shape and is cute and fun. I would definitely come back to this salon. read more

Well, my husband got me a gift card and I have been slowly trying to use it, so in the process I have used it towards getting my hair weaved, getting a massage, and getting a manicure. As you'll see from my past reivew the hair color and massage weren't very good. Then the manicure was great...the only problem was in trying to schedule it and then paying. I scheduled a week ahead...got a babysitter and then the moment my sitter was walking up to the door they called and cancled the manicure on me. They later gave me 20% off towards a manicure if I rescheduled and I did. When I booked online the manicure said $20, so when she rang me up for $25 I thought maybe I read the prices online wrong. So I get home and realize there prices were incorrect online and they wern't honoring them and they didn't take the 20% off. This salon is unorgainzed and it's honestly just been a hassle. My mother always said " you get what you pay for." The staff is nice, the cost was low and the location was perfect for me and is why I continued to get my hair cut here for several years, even though I rarely received the cut I wanted. I started attempting to supervise the cuts, but sometimes I forgot and other times my chair would be turned. My last cut I will ever have from here, I requested a new do, about 12 inches shorter in places. Super short in back and sides and very long on top. This cut was in anticipation of hair loss during chemo treatment I was starting. I had 4 photos to show her of all angles of this new do. I left there looking nothing like the photos. Very short in back, ok, good. Sides and top were close to same length, 2 inches. Not good. sides should have been super short and top at least 7 inches, not 2. As the days rolled on and I resembled a family member of the Cone Heads, I became more angry. At first I tried to tell myself, it's just going to come out in the next 2-3 weeks. But then I thought, if I am going to this extreme cut PRIOR to the ultimate hair loss I should have the cut and look I want to feel good about myself. And I don't. How can you not cut it right with 4 photos at your disposal? I shouldn't have to get mad at myself for forgetting to supervise my haircuts. A client should be able to relax and have confidence; I never had that. I shouldn't have to look as bad as I feel during this difficult time. The stylist did a geat job, but I expect to be treated with respect from any establishment I visit. Unfortunately the owner was so unprofessional I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone! I was new to tanning beds and gradually eased into trying it. I bought a lotion to help and did my research. The service was nice at first but when I started to get rashes and burns the service got horrible and unprofessional- especially from the main owner guy (I forget his name). After the tanning bed not being successful I took my loss and I tried spray tan like he recommended. Everything wonderful he said and how natural and good quality it would be, was untrue- it was super dark and unnatural, orange and spotty and and rubbed off patchy shortly after- and I followed all the proper ways to do the tan before, during and after. I maintained a nice attitude during all this, and simply called to see if I could get the other two tans refunded (I used one of my three I bought, and after the first experience being so bad I wasn't interested in using or paying for the other two-but I still paid for my tanning bed experience and took that loss, and the first tan I did- so I wasn't asking for any refund off of what I used, just on what I hadn't used already) the main guy answered the phone and got such attitude and rude to me and said he was busy and he would call me back and hung up in the middle of our conversation. He didn't want to deal with customers- yet customers are who make his business flow. A bad experience weighs heavier than good ones. He never called me back, and never dealt with my concerns. He made me feel unimportant and he didn't care to have burned my business. I wasn't bitter if he had handled it professionally and properly- I wouldn't leave a bad review- but only because of the way he chose to act made me feel I should let others know of this experience. I got the worst haircut of my life at this salon. I haven't been able to wear my hair down since. I told the stylist I just wanted a trim. My hair was five inches past my shoulders. She put a ton of layers in up to my chin after I specifically told her layers make my hair look thin. She turned the chair away from the mirror so I didn't realize she was doing the exact opposite of what I wanted. She did what she wanted instead of listening to the client. The name of the salon tells it all..."High Maintenance" prices yet the hair dressers have no idea what they're doing. I have ethnic hair and it's hard to find someplace in Eugene but I gave them a shot just for a simple trim up cut, but no, I left the salon after it was obvious that the hair stylist would never get my hair even without cutting off too much. Yes I know ethnic hair can be difficult to cut but at least be nice about it and don't make rude comments about my hair while I'm in your chair. The price was definitely not worth it, wish I would have checked to see if that hair stylist was even certified. The receptionist was beyond rude and snobby after I had came in as a walk in, just not the place for me I guess. read more

Pricey and beware of the 30 day cancelation notice. I paid for a 3 month membership to end a week before my wedding. At the time I signed up you pay a membership fee ($49) plus the monthly fee for unlimited use. Everything was fine until I went in to cancel. I came in one day after my membership renewal (which they already charged me for the new month) and said I would like to cancel after this week and that I understood the month would still be paid for. They said they have a 30 day cancelation policy after your last payment. This is the absolute first time I had heard this. So lucky them. They get two more monthly payments from me, when all I needed was one more week before my wedding and honeymoon. So if I had come in just one day sooner I could have canceled in September and now I am paying through the end of October. These people are crooks and not worth it. I chose this place out of location and convenience. It would be nice to know policies ahead of time and not have this hidden away in a lengthy contract. My bad for not reading, but it makes me feel seriously duped but not clearly having this available to customers. read more

I'm giving a star because I went to get my hair done here with a friend and her hair turned out decent. You know it's not gonna turn out okay when your stylists hair is a hot mess. Wanted to get my hair done for my best friends wedding. I showed my stylist a couple pictures of what I wanted. The seconds she laid her hand on my hair she was unsure and super insecure. Super awkward conversation kind of pried about personal stuff within the first few minutes of conversation. Then didn't even come close to what I wanted. Left a crease in my side sweeps and thought it was okay... And that's just putting it lightly...I paid for this??? I was so upset and took it out immediately. Did my own hair for my friends wedding. Not to mention everyone else (meaning the employees) could tell it wasn't up to par and they allow this...?? Not okay. And she ignored me when I was polite enough to leave a decent courtesy tip. This salon is nice but maybe need to screen their choices for wedding hair stylists. read more

Worst color I have ever had in my life. I would definitley not reccomend this salon. I got partial highlights and low lights. First of all each side of my hair looks different, there is no balance. On the left side I have very strong strippy streaks. On the top she decided to do a dark brown panel/streak in the front to the scalp so it looks like I have terrible roots even though it was just done. However, I must admit the right side of my hair bothers me least the streaks arent as bold and pronounced as the left they are more blended. This does however attribute to the fact all sides are different. In my opinion the sylist did what she needed to cut corners by doing slices/panels instead of weaving it, which should have been obvious I had previosly had a weave. That being said if it wasnt the stylist should have asked its her job. Another problem I have with my hair is that I'm now embarrassed to put it up which I use to do frequently. When I put my hair up there are these very obvious horizontal lines that go across the top of my head. All in all this is the worst salon experience I have ever had. I went to beauty school myself and I have never had a color done so poorly. Ive had my license for 12 years now so I know what should have and should not have been done. However, I put my trust in this stylist and have learned a very valuable lesson. When a majority of the stations arent filled theres a reason and its a good idea to move on to the next one. read more
