We arrived about 30 minutes prior to them closing and asked if we could still be seated. The owner said yes and had us pick our seats. She quickly welcomed us in, brought menus, and gave us time to order. We ordered: One Yame limited cold whisk matcha latte ($11) One Yame limited classic matcha latte - ($11) One iced Hojicha latte ($8) One Basque matcha cheesecake ($8) We watched as they both made our drinks with such care, detail, and our drinks were brought to us as they were ready. All three drinks were unique, authentic, and we tasted the difference in the matcha - this is for sure the real Japanese matcha! It was the right amount of sweetness, temp, and my Yame cold whisk latte had a nice creamy texture to it. The matcha cheesecake was something I had never tasted before and it was definitely worth the try! SO GOOD. Service was great and the owners were a joy to speak to. They gave us a backstory on how they got started and I'm glad that they made there way to AZ. Plenty of parking up front, and there there is a small sign outside the door.

I have been a bartender for a decade and I wish I had management as diligent and customer oriented. He has even remembered my dietary restrictions when I come back after only serving us once before. That's extremely rare as a restauranteur. While this is our first experience with Reilly, she is extremely personable and as kind as can be. We were pleasantly surprised by how welcoming and approachable the whole place felt. The combination of restaurant, bar, and massive game shop makes this such a fun place to spend an afternoon. The food was a standout. The gnocchi was fantastic, rich, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. My friend had the chicken Caesar sandwich, which was also excellent. We honestly weren't expecting to be this impressed with the food! They also have fun themed cocktails, along with NA beer, which was a nice option. Isaac, the retail manager, greeted us right away and explained how everything worked. The way the games are organized into categories helped us figure out where to start, and the little staff-pick labels were especially helpful for narrowing down our choices. As casual players, we really appreciated that. We weren't looking for the newest competitive game or preparing for a tournament -- we just wanted to find something fun to play together, and the staff made that feel completely accessible. There's also a lot more here for people who are into RPGs, miniatures, tournaments, and tabletop gaming, so it seems like there's genuinely something for everyone. If you're a casual board gamer who has ever walked into a giant game store and thought, "I have no idea where to even start," I'd definitely recommend checking out Mox. The staff and organization make it surprisingly easy to find your way in.

The staff is always friendly and never pushy. Parking is not usually a problem as the side streets are usually not packed unless there's an event going on. Surfing, boogie boarding, playing in the water, cliff jumping, and even volleyball. So much fun! The sand and beach chair area is a nice touch to give it that true beach feel. Being a Friday night, it was very busy and tons of teenagers there. The cliff jumping was packed but still very fun! Plenty of space for older and younger kids to all participate together. Lifeguards are always present. At the end of the night they stop surfing and let everyone go the whole way into the wave pool which is a blast! Probably the most fun part. Only giving it a 4 star for a few reasons. Line/wait was very long even with pre-purchased tickets. Everything is very pricey! Lifeguards need microphones or something - yelling basically was pointless. Felt crammed in the seating area and beach part. No outside beverages, water, or food is extreme for families. Overall, it was a very fun night and awesome way to beach the heat! Would come back again for sure!
