Inside this amazing local shop are all kinds of handmade goodies, from clothing to accessories, and everything in-between! It's a spot where local artisans get to showcase their products and sell them at reasonable prices. My latest purchase was a set of cute turquoise cactus earrings that I've had my eyes on for a while now. They're adorable!! There are hats, shirts, diffuser oils/scents for your car, lotions, candles, and many unique things you can gift to people out of state. The variety is so good here! The staff is always friendly and never pushy. Parking is not usually a problem as the side streets are usually not packed unless there's an event going on. Go out and support this sweet local business! I highly recommend it!

It was held at the Scottsdale Civic Center, which, if you have been to the area, you know there isn't that much shade. On a warm 93°F day, this could be a problem. Wear a hat, slather on some sunblock, and bring some water! The Merchantile Market is a free event, and there are more than 100 local vendors you can support. The full list is on their website, and you can see when their next event is. Last month's theme was Boots & Blossoms. This is a fun event, but I do wish they had more beverage vendors. It would have made the event a little more bearable. It's dog-friendly, family-friendly, and don't forget to bring your appetite and wallet. There are so many great things for you to buy!

**July 2026: Saturday Morning**…read more My friend and I were visiting Phoenix and were so excited to check out Uptown Farmers Market! This farmers market is located at a large church and after seeing the variety of vendors it definitely was such a fun way to start the weekend. We arrived around 8:30 a.m. on Saturday morning and had no trouble finding parking, which was a great start. I loved the variety of products featured here! There were everything from groceries and fresh bread to eggs, jams, pickled foods, soaps, and more. I'd guess there were maybe 100-150 vendors total, with most of them set up outside. There was also a section inside the church with a few vendors selling ice cream, produce, and other perishables, and that area was air conditioned, which was very welcome since it was around 110 degrees outside. They also had restrooms available, which was convenient. I believe vendor hours are from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., but because of the summer heat, my friend and I only stayed from about 8:30 to 10:00 a.m. Overall, I loved the variety of Arizona-based products and services and thought it was a really enjoyable market to visit.
