Her Instagram (@rachellegamesbeauty) was also helpful for me to see the previous looks she's created. From the moment I contacted her, she was professional and responsive. Booking with Rachelle was very straightforward, and I especially appreciated her scheduled timetable for her and her team on the wedding day.   After meeting her for the make-up trial, I felt like I was talking to an old friend. She has such a warm and bubbly personality, and it made the time with her go by fast. I had given her a Pinterest board of looks, which offered a great starting point that we were able to customize throughout the trial. It was such a fun experience! Each look was beautiful that it was difficult for me to choose the final look! After the trial, she followed-up with me for my decision and to see how my hair and make-up held up throughout the day. It was great to collaborate with Rachelle because she genuinely values your opinion.   Fast forward to wedding day, Rachelle and her team delivered! My bridesmaids looked gorgeous. They were all pleased with their final looks, which made me so happy! I had little sleep the night before and was feeling anxious that morning, but Rachelle took the reins! She helped relieve my woes and it was easy to trust her. The final look was beyond stunning and I couldn't have been happier! I received so many compliments throughout the whole day. Even more so, my hair and make-up stayed intact despite the 100 degree weather.   There is no question that Rachelle is dedicated and passionate in her craft. I highly recommend her for any occasion!

I had the joy of working with their team for three major events - my engagement shoot, traditional Vietnamese engagement ceremony, and wedding - and each time, they exceeded every expectation. Devon was amazing with my hair - from styling my bangs for our engagement shoot over a year ago to creating the most elegant updo for the wedding day. She even designed it so I could easily take it down for the reception, and it still looked flawless. Melody worked pure magic with my makeup. I've never really worn makeup before, so I put my full trust in her - and she made me look so naturally beautiful I could cry. My bridesmaids and mom were equally thrilled with their looks, and everyone felt so confident and radiant. What's even more impressive is that after an 18-hour day - starting hair and makeup at 6 a.m. and celebrating until midnight - not a single smudge or curl was out of place. Truly remarkable. Thank you, Luong Lasting, for being such an essential and unforgettable part of our wedding day. You made us all feel our absolute best, and I'm endlessly grateful!

She wasn't able to accommodate changes in the hairstyle I want & was not willing to work around our wedding schedule. So that left me with 2 months to find someone new. Thank goodness my friend Christine referred me to Kim & Luong Lasting and I honestly am so glad I found Kim and Ysabelle for my big day. I hired Kim and Ysabelle for my bridal & bridal party hair & makeup. Kim did all of our hair and Ysabelle did our makeup. From the very beginning of our trial, I was impressed with the team's communication and transparency. Luong Lasting was quick to respond in answering my questions through messages and emails. Kim and Ysabelle are both very lovely and easy going. They made my family and bridal party feel comfortable and at ease. They applied just the amount of makeup we asked for and gave the most fabulous up-dos. I loved their attention to deal. Always asking me how I felt about everything they did and applied on my face. I felt like they both genuinely cared about me and was always open to feedback and changes. Kim and Ysabelle made it easy and comfortable to tell them how I wanted my makeup and hair done. Let them know what you want and they'll make it happen! I was blown away by how efficient they both worked around our busy wedding schedule. Kim and Ysabelle gave me beautiful makeup and voluminous hair in 2 hours! They worked fast, but everything was precisely done. My hair and makeup lasted all night!! No reapplication needed except for my lipstick. I can't thank these two enough for making me feel like the most beautiful bride ever. A big thank you and shout out to Kim, who at the last minute, worked her schedule around for me to be available on my wedding day. I literally cried when she said she would do this huge favor. She was very professional and really made me feel comfortable. She works pretty fast too, I carved out more time but she was actually more time efficient than other artists I have tried in the past. So I appreciate how she didn't waste my time and also she came early to set up. Also she is very knowledgeable and gave me tips for my makeup lasting all night. She also gave me suggestions with my outfit and accessories (which I truly appreciate) She's very good with glam and the whole ensemble, and might I add she was so funny I was laughing a lot which is so good. Who doesn't love to laugh and enjoy their time?! it's been my experience in the past that artists can be late and unorganized and actually stress me out, but with Shash, she actually made me feel really pretty and made me laugh and made me look forward to my occasion I was getting glam up for. Not only is she incredibly talented at glam…read moreand understood exactly what I wanted for my wedding day, but she is also just the kindest, warmest person. From the beginning, she made me feel like I was talking to an old friend. For MONTHS leading up to the wedding, I would randomly text her with changes, questions, thoughts, etc., and she was always so sweet, responsive and accommodating. She never once made me feel like I was being annoying or overstepping which, as a bride, means more than you know! And it wasn't just me. My entire bridal party was literally shouting from the rooftops about how beautiful Jackie made everyone look and, more importantly, feel. One of my MOHs told me this was the first time she had ever gotten her makeup done as part of a bridal party and didn't feel like she needed to go back and change or fix anything herself afterward. My other MOH was SO impressed, she told me she had never felt that beautiful before and received more compliments that night than she ever has in her life. Hearing that from the women closest to me made me even happier with my decision to have Jackie there. What really sets Jackie apart is her range. I personally wanted to look like myself, just more snatched, polished and elevated and she absolutely nailed it. But at the same time, she was able to create much more glamorous looks on other members of my bridal party and execute those just as beautifully. It is SO hard to find an artist who can do both and tailor their work to the individual person rather than giving everyone the same face. I've worked with makeup artists professionally for over 15 years through my career, so I know when someone truly has the knowledge, technical skill and creative eye -- and Jackie has all of that, plus what I can only describe as God-given talent. She knows how to work with different faces, skin tones, races, hair types, personal styles and needs and make each person look like the absolute best version of themselves. Jackie is truly talented in every sense of the word, but beyond that, she is the kind of person you WANT around you on your wedding day. She is warm, patient, calming and genuinely cares about making everyone feel beautiful. I cannot recommend her enough. Choosing Jackie was one of the easiest and best decisions I made for my wedding, and I will DEFINITELY find a way to work with her again in the future.
