HM Flooring did a great job replacing all the carpet in my house. The only complaint I have is that when they were putting down the glue for the padding they splashed some on my walls. Since my walls are a Tan color and the glue was clear in color I did not see it until found a sticky spot on my wall. If I use a UV light (used to find bugs) I can find several splash marks. The good part is if you use WD-40 you can remove it without hurting the paint. I just have an issue with all the little splash marks. Mike read more

When we purchased our home it had all the original flooring from 18 years ago when it was first built. The worst part... there was CARPET in the BATHROOM YUCK!! They were hired by my contractor to do all of the tile in my bathroom after it was torn out due to mold. They made my life a nightmare for months and now I'm literally starting all over again with a new company. The work they did was terrible quality. They didn't seal the grout and then spilled blue toilet water on it and stained it blue. They didn't measure the tile correctly so the tub wouldn't fit back in. But even worse, they didn't waterproof any part of the shower which caused more water damage and everything had to be torn out again. The new tile company says they never even fixed the floor before tiling and the floor is still water damaged and rotten. I can't stress enough how incompetent these people are. Good service. Took some time to finish the work due to a few reasons, but in the end they were able to make us happy with the finish result.

Emergency Restoration experts uses this company so they chose them, not me. I had problems from the very start with them. Maribel did not have the samples I needed to choose from so I had to make a couple of trips. It took a very long time to have decisions made. When I finally decided on the wood flooring, it came in a different color than the piece that I had chosen; come to find out she only showed me one piece and there were multiple colors when it was all laid out. When they installed the light colored luxury vinyl in my kitchen, the floorboards had to be repainted because the workers left black boot marks on the floorboards and walls. After the floors were finished, about a week later I noted black sticky substance oozing up through the seams in the laminate pieces. I spoke to maribel who is, the supervisor or something. She sent somebody out to clean it up and he stated that it was adhesive using up through. Evidently they either used too much or did not let it dry enough because now it is oozing up again. I tried to contact Maribel starting two weeks ago to get it cleaned up again, I was having a housewarming party to show off my new floors tomorrow. She never answered me. After several calls I finally got her on the phone and she said todaythat she could have it done Saturday. I told her that I had told her several times I needed it done Friday, that did not matter. I am renting equipment to clean my floors myself. I do not need them, I would never use them again, and their guarantee seems to be useless. read more

The absolute worst place to go for tile. Their sales associate Maribel is just looking for a quick sale and doesn't care the outcome of the work. They did not complete the work, they left dust and dirt all over the house and they said they dont clean houses and they have yet to replace the toilet and base boards. I spoke to Maribel she instructed me to just call a plumber. I would avoid this place at all costs!! DONT GO HERE!!!!! read more

BUYER BEWARE! We hired an installer to install laminate throughout our home. Installer purchased the flooring from HM Flooring. Two weeks later, in the kitchen, the part of the laminate that interlocks starts snapping and breaking. The installer took a piece back to HM Flooring and they actually gave him new boxes to replace the whole kitchen. Great. Fast forward 9 months later, the flooring is popping up in places. We thought maybe it would settle, but after another month, it just got worse. It's not locked together, it's separating. We called the installer who was great - he came right out and looked at it, called the HM Flooring and took a piece over there to show them where it was breaking. HM Flooring sent out an inspector. According to the inspector's report, it's an installation problem, but he doesn't say exactly WHAT the problem is. We had another installer look at it and he says it's a product problem. Carlos from HM Flooring came over to look and proceeds to tell the installer's employees that there should be a 1/2" gap for expansion. I don't even know how to install laminate but I know it's 1/4" gap!!! So, here's the rundown people. HM Flooring will not warranty the product. They will not replace it. We were told there was a 20 year warranty on the product by the installer, who was told that by HM Flooring. From what I have heard, HM Flooring buys bulk products from China that are crap with no warranty and they won't back it up, so use them at your own risk. read more

I received exceptional customer service. I called HM Flooring on a Saturday morning, went the same day and picked out carpet. The company came to the house and measured and provided me an estimate that same Saturday. My new carpet was installed two days later on Monday. I let this go months ago, because...what am I supposed to do. Notice that HM Flooring responded by giving me contact info for the manufacturer in China?! "See if these people in China can help you". Really? That's your idea of customer service? Anyway, this has come up again because my kids have been sick since we moved into our house. I'm researching now to see if this flooring has the same materials as the flooring in the Lumber Liquidators lawsuit. I am very disappointed in this company's lack of customer service. We have bought carpet from HM on 3 separate occasions over the past 15-20 years or so, and we are usually very satisfied with the quality and installation. However, last year they installed carpeting, albeit cheap carpeting, in the living room, hallway and two bedrooms for us, and it has been humping up in the middle of each room, as well as at the hallway entrances to each bedroom, creating a dangerous tripping hazard. I had them out to assess the situation yesterday, and they informed me that it is rare that this would happen so soon after installation in a light-traffic residence, but unfortunately it is not their policy to stand behind (take responsibility for) their installers work. What? Why not? They quoted me a price of $250 for them to send their installers out to re-stretch the carpet, in just the living room and entrances to each bedroom where it is the worst (didn't even include the humps in each bedroom). I declined their not-so generous offer and am now looking for other options, and a new carpeting company for future purchases, as HM has seen the last of our business. read more

beware. these people are not licensed to install carpet. they are offering install and hiring day labor to do it. they have no license or bond to do it so anything goes wrong with the quality of work OR MISSING from your house while they are working on it , there is no recourse. Nevada State Board of Contractors will take the complaint but not much they can do. the "great deal" on carpet turns out to be a long drawn out pain in the you know what. BUYERS BEWARE. read more
