I needed help w/ installing an outlet for the new induction range which Home Depot installation team wouldn't install without a 240v outlet. He quoted me the best price. He ended up installing the range after getting the outlet done then put the hood back on as it was taken down for wiring. He cleaned up everything and pushed the old range out. Since he finished the job that Home Depot had to do. I have to cancel the appointment with Home Depot. Looking forward to working with him again. read more

HL Electric - Electricians Near Me

He's the only electrician I will use. He's done work for us that other electricians refused to do, and for a reasonable price. He's installed two outlets, three ceiling fans, a whole home generator and even installed the water lines to our refrigerator when I couldn't find a plumber to do it. He goes above and beyond and is always happy & smiling; he actually sings and whistles while he works lol. We've never had a single issue with any of the work he's done. He's a wonderful electrician. read more

Excellent service and replaced breaker vent y fast and reasonable price. Professional behavior. We were very happy with service received.

Response time was quick! The response itself, horrible. Attempted to charge me $100 for a $12 part. Lots of electricians to chose from on Yelp. Skip this one. We got the doorbell fixed for $150. That's the going rate, not $250 like this person suggested. *Common sense. I'll pay fair or even above market for good work. Price gouging is another issue. The text speaks for itself. Good luck people! read more

I don't know if this guy is any good if he actually shows up. I made an appointment over a week ahead and he "forgot." So then I rescheduled for the next week. I texted the morning of the appointment to see if he was coming. Five minutes after the appointment, he texted back as if we hadn't set a time. Ridiculous. read more

HL Electric is a one-man operation so expect a little "audience participation" especially on something as challenging as making the leap from a gas stove to induction. Herman (with a little help from yours, truly) did it all from installing a 220V outlet, leaving behind a 110V outlet should a later resident decide induction's not for them and huffing and puffing the old stove out and the new stove in. read more

Scheduled an estimate for today at 4pm. At 4 I get a text saying that he can come at 4:45. I had an appointment then so I asked if he could come later. He said he would come at 7. Herman (owner) made an appt to come give an estimate. We drove 50+ miles to meet him at the location. He did not show nor did he answer the phone when I called to see if he was coming.
