There was a time when more than 90% of all law enforcement officers carried revolvers and relied on "speed loaders" to provide fast reloads. HKS was a pioneer in this field and provided these tools worldwide. Although I am retired now, I relied on HKS loaders. Over many years, at the range and on the streets, I carried & used these "survival tools". I never had a failure or a defect. Imagine my horror, when I purchased 2 new speed loaders and found both loaders would drop rounds before I finished my reload. With the help of two long term employees, we found the issue was due to bad ammo with substandard case rims- far below standard diameters. The folks at HKS, where helpful and determined to resolve a problem of a product they cared for deeply. It was great to work with them. Seems like HKS is pretty much the same company, producing the same quality products for well over 40 years. That is a rare thing today. read more
