After receiving a few quotes, a friend introduced us to JE Roofing. The quote was reasonable, the customer service fantastic and their references all checked out. The roof is completed and I am soooo happy we went with JE Roofing! The project was seamless. Their crew was amazing and my roof looks great. There were no surprises and everything went off without a hitch. JE's crew came up from Lansing to roof my Wisconsin house. Its about 90 minutes away so they stayed in the area until the project was fully completed. They worked hard and long and I actually missed them when they left. But I know that I will see them again because I have a leak in my Chicago roof and I wouldn't trust anyone else to fix it. It was 10k plus project, on a steep roof, with multiple peaks and the only thing that got damaged was a motion light. Not bad, I'm actually impressed! JE Roofing is one of the few contractors that I've hired over the years that actually fixed more than they eff'd up! LOL but true. I would not hesitate to work with them again or refer them. IMAGE TIP: Its hard not to write a review and not include an image tip since I am an image consultant, so... JE hit it right down the the shirts they wore. Watching them work in their orange company t-shirts added to their professionalism as a company and as a crew. But, of course, I didn't mind when they took them off and exposed a little muscle:) Hey, image consultant aside - I'm still a woman!

Unfortunately this company will not fix their work because I hurt the owners feelings. I was told he won't do anything until I apologize to him. Keep in mind, this project took 32 days. They were even a no call, no show on the first day. They didn't even use finishing nails on the siding. Do yourself a favor and stay far, far away from this place. It's not worth the headache.

Resil Home Improvements was the best priced and came with good recommendations. I took a chance on them and couldn't be happier. They did what they said they were going to do, when they said they were going to do it. They were professional and cleaned up after themselves after each day. Living through construction is hard so this is important. They offered financing options which I needed. They have a show room on 111th and Kedzie making it convenient for me to see samples. Pinterest was also wonderful for paint ideas and other details. My whole first floor was updated and is absolutely beautiful. I look forward to working with them next year when I tackle the outside. I feel obliged to share this wonderful outcome with you. If you have any type of home-improvement coming up, I strongly recommend you get three prices and include Resil in the bidding. They will not let you down. Thanks to my construction team Dave, Mike, Patrick, and Bartek. I'm so happy!

Tried and Tested... Resil Home Improvements Is the Real…read moreDeal! This review does not greet you during the honeymoon phase of a beautiful home renovation. In fact, the Resil Team completed a full reconfiguration of our kitchen just ahead of Thanksgiving 2023. My wife and I set out to inventory local contractors for multiple home Improvements. Spring of 2023, we attended the Oak Lawn Home and Garden Show to speak with professionals in the industry. The team over at Resil were one of many vendors present for home and/or property construction. We left the event with a host of companies to choose from. We learned very quickly that contractors lose enthusiasm and interest when you actually do your homework prior to a major project. We chose Resil. The owner Mike, and his team were clear experts of this industry. We decided to start with the kitchen instead of our three bathrooms. From start to finish, the entire Resil Crew maintained a professionalism that was greatly appreciated. They arrived as scheduled and worked in rotation according to their particular craft and expertise. In closing, One Year Later, our reconfigured kitchen has hosted 2023 and 2024, Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners; and it's still beautiful and functional! We gained a ton of storage space, our college and high school kids have enjoyed entertaining friends, but most importantly, my wife still raves about how our kitchen allows her to face our family and guest when preparing meals! We've shared Resil Home Improvements with neighbors and friends because their carpentry reflects their character. We're planning our next projects with Resil!

I was trying to ask basic questions, and instead of giving me any real information, he kept cutting me off and snapping "NO" at me. When I asked why he was talking to me like that, he suddenly tried to tone it down, but still repeated the same line: " We only do bathrooms and kitchens." If that's all they offer, fine - but there was absolutely no reason for the attitude. He could have simply explained their limited scope instead of acting annoyed that I even called. Based on that interaction alone, I wouldn't recommend this business to anyone.
