"Gus" this just was awesome to see some cool art as well as a Lonesome Dove reference

This place is beautiful, eclectic, and very clean rooms! We would stay here every time we come to town now. The front desk hostess, Olivjah, she made our entire stay! I am overwhelmed with how great this weekday getaway turned out and mainly because of the fantastic hospitality at this hotel. Don't stay anywhere else!!

Heavy, loud metal doors. Appears wheelchair accessible.

Excuse the length of this review. This hotel is billed as a "luxury hotel " in Great Falls. We stayed here years ago, and opted to come back and give it another go. We booked online with a third-party, possibly a mistake. At check-in I asked if there was any choice of rooms and she said no. They are "full." She put us in room 101, a tiny indoor room, no window, as many of the rooms in this hotel have. It was the first room right next to the lobby and restaurant entrance with traffic and a tile floor, and very noisy. But the bigger problem was it was very very cold -and dark. I immediately asked for an upgrade. The fairly expensive room quickly became a very expensive "suite" on the second floor. There were two large windows in the room, but they don't open. This room has a sitting area and a king bed and the same bathroom as the other rooms. Appears wheelchair accessible Appointments are modern, but of the cheapest variety. There is a "kitchen "area, but not a functional one. We ordered food from the restaurant near the lobby, as they promote, went down to get it and brought it to the room, Expecting dishes and silverware. Please see pics - only two teaspoons and a butter knife LOL. No plates even !?! No napkins. No salt. Nothing. After a trip back down to the restaurant for utensils we ate ok food (don't get the corned beef.) It was very cold in this room as well, so we went to bed early. The thermostat on the wall is a joke. I don't think it is operable to guests. I called and the gal at the desk told me she controls the heat from there. It registered 75 but it was maybe 60 in the room. I searched for extra blankets and there were none in the room. Called down again and she was nice enough to bring one up. She also adjusted our thermostat, but it literally took until 3 AM to warm the room. We were cold virtually all night, and then too hot. In the middle of the night I got up to try to adjust it and the digital screen was quite impossible. Couldn't open a window. Thought we should start our day with a hot shower. The bathroom reminds me of a Motel 6 bathroom, truly. The shower control is very difficult - starts cold and you have to step WAY back to get out of the way- and when I finally managed to turn it to the highest temp, it was barely warn enough - also probably controlled centrally. Went down for the "included breakfast" and it's a "grab-n-go" situation now - she said "due to covid," (although restaurant restrictions are now lifted?) Kinda one thing after another. What finally prompted this public yelp was there is a big "comments" card in the room inviting suggestions. Searched everywhere and there's NO PEN OR PENCIL anywhere. (Who carries a pen anymore?!) Typical of the stay! LOL I think they remodeled and run this hotel as cheaply as possible, without much care at all for guest comfort, and upcharge it as a "luxury hotel." It would be so easy to change a few simple things, and create a different experience for guests. Not smart. I would have been ok with it for the original price - not delighted, but OK. We have stayed in everything from top five star plus resorts to the simplest Airbnb rooms. It's not the money, per se. But being honest, were very disappointed for the price we paid at Arvon. Weak WiFi too, btw.

Nice, clean place to get away from chain hotels. This place was very nice, unique, privately owned hotel. The rooms are small but just what you need for one night. One HUGE plus to this place, that they don't mention, is their private parking garage so you don't have to park on the streets. Also breakfast vouchers to Celtic Cowboy are nice. The breakfast is better than the dinner. Overall this is a pretty cool place.

This hotel is a little gem of a place in Great Falls. The rooms are elegant and you feel pampered in the luxurious and comfortable bed! The Celtic Cowboy, a bar and restaurant are part of this complex with excelent food and lots of craft beer. We'll definitely stay here again.

King suite.

I've never checked myself into a hotel before. It went easy and smooth. Rooms are not very big. Bathroom was decent size.

We were given a room with a nice view of the river. Our room was a king studio suite that was set up in a typical Springhill fashion. Our room did have a balcony in case I had to sleep out there if my wife got mad at me. The bathroom was also typical Springhill with a barn type door separating the bathroom from the sleep area. Soap, shampoo and conditioner were the Bonvoy special. Breakfast is served downstairs. Nothing really stood out about the breakfast except that the breakfast was Bonvoyed. Their gym had ellipticals, bikes and treadmills for cardio. Dumb bells were provided for strength training. The gym was clean and good enough for me. They had several fireplaces with each fireplace a different color. They were a good hotel and provided me with a good night sleep so that I could drive 600 miles the next day. The train didn't wake me up probably because of sleeping pills and ear plugs.

I am very grateful for their good service and cannot recommend staying here enough.

It reminds me of a business about to declare bankruptcy. After waiting with 30 other people to check in (no checking in allowed before 4PM), which took about 20 minutes, my fourth key to the room still did not work. Maintenance accompanied me and said that the entire system was broken, and basically almost none of the keys work unless you swipe it quickly approximately 12 times. It's a long standing problem that they are aware of but will not spend the money to fix. It's hard to imagine but the hallways are full of people trying to get their keys to work. Additionally, they no longer clean your room or replace towels, coffee, etc., you are required to come and get what you need. I attempted to call the operator/front desk last night and had to go through 4 attempts where I let it ring until it disconnected, so in other words, approximately 150 rings. The hotel is in dire need of a remodel to the rooms, and the operational deterioration over the past year is remarkable. I haven't attempted to go to the restaurant for breakfast for fear that I won't be able to bet back into my room. I will be finding new accommodations in Great Falls and would no longer recommend this hotel to anyone. Hopefully someone will purchase it and restore it to financial footing as it is a well located property.

Another nice perk was the shuttle service provided to/from the airport, I utilized this for a very early departure with no issues on timeliness. A few other in one group did have some concerns regarding carbon monoxide alarms going off and the pool was closed one night during my stay as fire department staff must have been investigating this concern.

Glad we were at the end of our vacation and didn't have a lot that needed refrigerating. Dinner was from a nearby Smith's Grocery deli. Microwave worked great for heating what we bought. Motel bed height is a big deal for me and this one was close to perfect at 26". Both sides of the bed had a night stand with lamp. WiFi worked great. Breakfast bar was adequate - sausage, scrambled eggs, biscuits & gravy, hot & cold cereals and milk, fruit, juices, bread assortment, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, and the waffle maker. There were plenty of tables and the food was easily accessed and not in the way of people coming and going. The usual binder of information was not in the room, so no idea about what television channels were available, and there was no scrolling guide we could locate on the television. A visit to the desk to inquire about a printed list of stations was met with "We don't have that". Okay, do you know if Root Sports is available? "I don't know". And thinking I could look on-line, I asked who the cable carrier was. "I don't know". We figured out the channel set up ourselves and yes clueless desk clerk, Root Sports is available.
