This location of Eddie's is not my favorite. Parking can be very hard to come by, the garage is tiny which means it can take a bit of time to get in and out of it. I also haven't had the same luck with on a whim cake purchases that I've had at the other location. Eddie's emphasis on local means I can usually find Wild Bay kombucha, Zeke's coffee and Taharka Brothers Ice Cream. Their selection is decent so it meets my one stop shop needs. Eddie's has a decent selection of gluten free and vegan items. It also has snacks and crackers that I can't find at other places in town. I usually peruse the aisles to see what is being offered. I don't always buy but I always look. I also like to peruse Eddie's bakery. With an assortment of artfully done cookies, cupcakes, muffins, tarts, the bakery is definitely a sight to behold. The things that we have purchased from them are done well. Eddie's is a great local grocer and I will definitely continue to visit for my local and special occasion needs. The prices keep it from being my regular grocery destination.

Probably the largest fish section of any place I've visited in the city. And the meat section, other than the absence of Chinese sausage, was pretty large as well.

I can buy food here on Sunday for a total of $25 and I will have dinner and lunch for the rest of the week. Their meats are so reasonable. I can get a pack of boneless chicken thighs for $1.98 a pack and it has at least six of them in there. The Seafood is also a steal. I can get six clams for $1.50. Their Oysters are like .69 cents each. They also have an aisle where everything is $1. They have the best seasoning and spices for $1. Pickled artichoke hearts and things that you can make a nice meal with. But today...... They had nothing. I am not sure if they are going out of business or what? I was very disappointed today. I am going to go again next week with the hopes that they are open and maybe I can speak with a manager about their inventory. It really hurt my heart.
