went in to change jewelry and explained that one of my lobe piercings had healing issues before. I…read moreasked for it to be checked first and was told it would be fine, but it clearly was not healed or ready to be changed. I initially chose a hoop, but it would not fit the piercing. I was then told to choose another piece, and the piercer became impatient and aggressive because I did not pick one fast enough. When he began inserting the new jewelry, it caused severe pain. I repeatedly said "I'm done" and asked him to stop. My sister told him I was bleeding, and he said I wasn't and continued anyway. He kept saying the jewelry was in when it wasn't. I ended up crying, because of how much pressure he was putting on this unhealed piercing, and my sister had to yell at him before he finally stopped. After this, he left jewelry in my bottom piercing. I had specifically asked for jewelry I could unscrew myself, but the piece he put in could not be removed on my own and he even said it himself. Ignoring pain, dismissing bleeding, becoming aggressive, and continuing after being told to stop is unacceptable. This experience was unsafe and unprofessional, and I would not return. My friend that was also there actually recorded the part when I started crying and My Sister had to yell at him to stop. Mind you my sister and I were speaking our own language to each other. The piercer commented that it sounded like "gibberish," then asked if we were speaking English in a rude way. This added to an already uncomfortable and unprofessional experience.
