I love this place! I truly do, but with a couple rejecting piercings here is not a good look on this business. My belly and my surface tragus were pierced wrong, due to jewelry or this location not having a reputable piercer. I haven't been to this location for a tattoo so maybe it'll be a difference experience, but try to avoid getting pierced here at any cost! read more

there was an older guy who did my boyfriend and I's tattoos. he was very much passive aggressive and at one moment very aggressive the tattoo that he did was not that worth the price I paid I honestly would've paid 20 or less. he was not professional at all and was very sloppy with his work. I'm thinking about getting a refund or better suing . the whole time I laughed off my nerve's because he kinda made me feel unease. he asked us at the end to give him a review and this is my honest response! I don't recommend the 4 point rating is a lie more like 1.5 or less. Also in the process of him doing my tattoo I felt a little lightheaded and I asked him to stop but pretended to not hear me and kept going for a minute longer as if he wanted me to actually pass out. During small talk I spoke my beliefs my tattoo artist, she just told me that it came from the satanic bible, or that's what Satan said and told me that I am filled with demons and let them all in when I left gods path and that I need Jesus. She also had the nerve to tell me my grandmas (Dads mom) who passed when my dad was in 20s was not my guardian angel, she's dead. I have a lot of mental health problems and being told that all my beliefs are Just satanic and that I need Jesus and that my grandma isn't in heaven watching over me while having someone pushing all their beliefs on me was a horrifying experience. I left the shop having a panic attack and a random lady from the shop next door had to stop and make sure I was ok. I do not feel it's ok to push Catholicism that hard on clients. Don't even remember her name bc it was so triggering. Good tattoo though. read more

I've had two good experiences here. They have been very simple tattoos but that doesn't mean something can't go wrong. I'm very happy with the work that's been done and the attention to detail the artists give. One stencil took 3 or 4 times to be placed just right, so my artist wasn't going to settle for less than perfect. Lastly, the prices have been very affordable. Loved this place. Very straightforward, good advice, quality tattoo, smart aftercare. They fit me in on a Sunday after I came in on Saturday for a consult. Really tried to accommodate me as much as possible. gave me a great deal on my 3rd tattoo and took the time to walk me through the details and showed me about 8 different shades of orange (the main color of my tattoo). Paid close attention to detail (sometimes a straight line is the hardest thing to draw) and made sure I was happy and comfortable with what I was getting each step of the way. Also used tegaderm for aftercare which I hadn't heard of until then but has done an outstanding job holding my bright colors and preventing scabbing while promoting healing. Highly recommend, they'll be straight up with you and won't mess with your time or your wallet. read more

I got two AMAZING tattoos by Jennifer this past week and already I can't wait to come back to have more work done! They made me comfortable answered my many questions and gave me advice on the design I wanted to ensure that it turned out the best it could. There are individual rooms for PRIVACY which is different than other shops I have been in. They ask you to come in about 6 weeks after to make sure everything looks good and they offer FREE TOUCH UP's once your tattoo has healed (another perk that no other shop has offered me in the past) The tattoos themselves turn out exactly as i wanted them to and on my cover up tattoo, even I cannot tell where the old tattoo is under the new design!!! I was there for about 4 1/2 hours and it was easy to chat with the staff when they weren't busy during my session to help distract myself from the pain. All the artists there are very friendly & seem to know their stuff, (I did a lot of research and looked at all the artists portfolios before I came here) I plan on going back in this year sometime to have a current shoulder piece (that was started at another shop) touched up and completed This is my new go-to shop for both tattoo's and piercings. I've gotten a ton of compliments on my 2 new pieces that Jennifer did I HIGHLY recommend her or any of the artists @ Tough Luck to anyone looking for a GREAT LOCAL SHOP with EXPERIENCED ARTISTS that is AFFORDABLE & doesn't cost a fortune like some big name shops.
