Dan has been the one doing my piece for me and he's always a pleasure to talk to, as he's very funny. But you have to have a NSFW sense of humor! I only gave 4 stars mainly because of how scheduling works, but it's understandable for the business itself. If I didn't like Dan or his work I would have had to go elsewhere, but because of him I am willing to wait however long it takes (even if I miss a few times of scheduling) to get more work! He makes the tattoo process far more bearable even when it hurts. (Scheduling is calling between 2-4pm on the first of each month. If you forget or it fills up, you have to wait a month to try again! At least this is with tattooing, as far as I'm aware. Looks like piercings could be different. I'd suggest calling to ask!)

I chose David Dettloff - he owns the place, is a true artist, and has a wait list to match it. He also chooses the projects he will work on, so after emailing back and forth we found out we both have a love for Nina Simone which was the portrait I wanted. Not only is he worth the wait (he did most of the portrait freehand and it's gorgeous) he has now wrecked me in that no one else may tattoo me in the future except him.
