The shop serves an assortment of exotic gelato that you can get in a cup, a la mode, or as a cookie sandwich. I opted to go with the cookie sandwich. They allow you to try samples of their ice cream using washable metal spoons. They have a couple of table/chairs in the dining area to eat. There is also a few chairs on the patio out front. I ate my treat on one of the benches along 16 th street. The staff there were very friendly. After getting a sample, I ordered a Hot Honey Biscuit ice cream cookie. It took a few minutes for the woman to prepare it. It was served in styrofoam container. It started of tasting really good. Then As I progressed through eating it, it just became average tasting and the cookie started to overwhelm the ice cream. It was odd. I think the cookie could have been better also. With that being said, I still would probably visit this place again. My frozen treat was not horrible and they have many other options for me to try.
