Love the NON DAIRY sorbet! It tastes like frozen fruit on a stick! My kids love how easy to hold they are!

Got to sample the great gelato from this truck at the Not-So-Average Art sale in Miami. The gelato is awesome and the proprietary (and daughter) were friendly and helpful. Highly-recommend. read more

No one and I mean no one does gelato like these guys. Creativity alone earns them the 5 stars but the flavor would push them beyond reach by any other gelato maker. If you ever see there truck make sure to stop by and try them out. read more

When HipPOPs says handcrafted awesomeness, they really mean it!!! They make each POP by hand - they make only 26 POPs at a time. They are huge, creamy and delicious. Even the Sorbet POPs were amazing, not icy just smooth and fruity! And, this is no sprinkle kinda company, they have fresh pistachios, coconut, carmelized pecans, etc. The truck comes to all locations, private parties, bar mitzvahs and weddings or you can order POPs for your house! And, they donate back for fundraisers too. I'm POPPED for HipPOPs!! You will be too! read more

Wow what a yummy treat!!! I ordered the minis for my family in blood orange and chocolate. They were a huge hit. We look forward to trying more flavors for our next gathering. read more

My husband and I are food truck connoisseurs and were excited to see HipPOPS at the wheelin dealin food truck festival at magic city casino. They have hand crafted gelato pops that they dip in goumet chocolate and "poppings" like crushed pistachios, candied pecans, coconut, pretzels or sprinkles. I got a belgian chocolate bar dipped in semi-sweet chocolate, and topped with candied pecans. My husband got pistachio also dipped in semi-sweet chocolate and topped with more pistachios. Both were absolutely decadent! I cannot wait until next month for the food truck festival to come back! read more

Yummy!!! Yummy!!! I had a banana pop with milk chocolate and coconut shavings... extremely good! My husband had a coconut pop with white chocolate and candied pecans... even better than mine! read more

They came to an the office park I work in and the popsicles/frozen yogurt were delicious! I loved the combinations and toppings and thought it was porbably some of the best I've ever had. read more

To celebrate my staff's achievements I invited HipPOPs gelato to our community and wow we were all thrilled with the results. The HipPOPs staff was enthusiastic and courteous, but the star of the day was the delicious gelato treats that they create. I personally had the vanilla gelato with dark chocolate topping that was coated in Pretzles and my mouth is still watering from the amazing flavor - creamy, crunchy, salty and sweet all combined to perfection. My staff was so happy with the event that several members asked me when HipPOPs will be back. I would highly reccommend not only enjoying a HipPOPs treat if you see their truck at an event, but also having them come to your office to show your coworkers or staff that they are appreciated. They provide a memorable event that everyone enjoyed. Thanks HipPOPs, we are definitely going to have back. Erica read more

Seriously tasty stuff! My daughter and I took in the Food Trucks in Arts Park and walked over to the HipPOPs truck after our main meal, looking for something sweet to finish it off. I was very pleasantly surprised when I took a bite of my daughters "creation". It was really yummy and not too sweet. She had the cappuccino bar, dipped in milk chocolate and dipped in Oreo. I thought it would taste like chocolate overkill (which I am not very fond of) but it was balanced, not heavy tasting, and the coating was really crunchy and fresh tasting. My daughter only allowed me two bites so I guess I will have to get my own next time! read more

I've thought about stalking this food truck for sometimes, didn't know they had a store also. BEST ice cream ever no exaggeration. $5 a pop and they dip it in all kinds of goodies. They can even turn your pop into a shake. Awesome awesome awesome! read more

I tried their gelato pops at the Miami open and I was disappointed. The fruit pops taste like frozen juice instead of the real fruit. The chocolate dip was good but the almond toppings were to large (nothing crafty). They claim to be gelato - but they are far from it read more

Couldn't check in because we're not near the "address" but omg is this gelato so good that Don Corleon would tell you "leave the gun, take the hippops", it's gelato you could kill for. read more

The product is amazingly good. I placed several orders with them, until.....the owner was in a bad mood. "This is how I run my business......" that tone! Tony, I think it will work better if you use good customer service skills. We will never place an order with you again, for the amount of money we paid and you exploded for a simple question. You can answer nicely. I felt really harassed and embarrassed with your tone. read more

These are a refreshing and simply amazing dessert on a stick. You choose your own flavors and make it how you want. I chose the chocolate, dipped in milk chocolate and rolled in chopped almonds...this was better than the Haagen Das brand. This is a MUST try! read more

HipPOPs was an amazing Treat! The variety of flavors was outstanding! The Lemon Mint was tangy and refreshing while the Vanilla Bean gelato while it may sound plain was FAR from it. My husband's favorite was the Chipotle as it was a great combination of sweet and YES Spicy! Our whole family loved each and every one we tasted! Can't wait to have it again and will definitely be keeping some in our freezer !! read more

I could not be more impressed with the professionalism, service and the delicious tasting pops I received from HipPOPs. Tony and his wife brought their pop-up gelato bar to my wedding at the biltmore hotel. Our guests LOVED customizing their baby pops and there was a line all night long. If you're looking for something special and different for your next party, give HipPOPS a call! read more

George came in to our Goodyear Store; Fleet Tire Truck and Auto Center Inc. at 2pm Saturday telling me that he was referred to use us because we were one of the only tire and repair centers around with the right equipment to can handle food trucks. We were swamped busy and I told him it would be at least an hour to free up one of our techs to assist him. He advised me that he had an event that he had to be to at within the hour and told me he would pay double for VIP service? We don't take advantage of people that way so I shuffled some work around and got a guy on it at the same price we would have charged. NOW for the Yelp! As one of my guys began to bring out the 22 ton jacks George asked if he could give my team handcrafted gelato bars. Who could say no to that? Each of my 6 auto / truck technicians got a bar along with myself and our Sales Manager Brian. These gelato bars are the best I have ever had. We got him back on the road in about 30 minutes and the whole team had the happiest smiles from those great bars. THANK YOU George! you made a fun hard working day even so much better. Next time I'm at a food truck round up I'm looking for your truck..... read more

The fiance and I were shmoozing about Second Saturday in Wynnwood yesterday when we happened upon the coolest looking and most amazing concept for a food truck. Imagine a brightly lit truck showcasing beautiful frozen gelato and sorbet bars behind glass. Now seeing how we had never seen a gelato bar before we were immediately sold and there were about 15 different flavors to choose from. There were all the usual flavors and then there were the unique choices like pistachio and passion fruit. Once you choose a flavor you are then supposed to chose a flavor of chocolate to dip it in and then a topping. I was trying not to be a fatty so I opted for my all time favorite ice-cream flavor Mexican chilli chocolate served naked (that means no dip or topping). The friendly duo working the truck were worried that I might burn my palate on the spicy chocolate flavor and suggested a dark chocolate dip with candied pecans to sweeten it up. Let me tell you, this combo was worth breaking the diet for. OMG. Think those awesome Magnum bars x10 because the layer of chocolate is so thick. It's like eating a gelato candy bar. The bf got a banana pop with milk chocolate and pecans and itt was equally yummy. I just wish Miami summer nights were a little cooler, because even though those big pops were really cold mine started melting on me before I was done enjoying. read more

Huge food truck fan, here. And now a huge HipPOPs fan, as well. Food Truck Invasion arrived at our local small, sleepy park (Plantation Heritage Park), and brought with it this creative and absolutely delicious dessert truck. 5 bucks a pop is a little steep, but I have a feeling no one is about to complain, because this food truck really is the first of its kind, therefore claims exclusive rights to high "ice cream" prices. The array of gelato-pop flavors is wide, although I would love to see a few more creamy flavors, rather than a ton of fruity ones. I find the combination of tropical fruits with chocolate, like passion fruit, lemon, blood orange or pineapple, a bit odd... But I risked it with the coconut, dipped in milk chocolate and then covered in crushed pretzels. Boy, am I glad I did! The sweet, salty, cold, warm, soft and crunchy all at once was divine. HipPOPs is definitely the perfect end to a day of food truck frequenting. Can't wait to try a new combo... Perhaps cappuccino with white chocolate and sprinkles? Vanilla with semi-sweet chocolate and caramelized pecans? The options are endless! read more

My new favorite dessert is the pistachio gelato pop dipped in chocolate and then rolled in crushed pistachios. Something about that fresh dip in the chocolate makes it one of the best tastes ever. I've also tried other flavors - love the coconut dipped in chocolate and the sorbets are to die for delicious. Passionfruit is my fave, but blood orange and lemon with mint are right up there. You taste the quality and can actually see the fresh ingredients in the pop! They are all-natural so I don't feel one bit guilty eating these for dessert. Ridiculicious! read more

I met Tony Fellows, the Owner of Hip Pops through a friend. I am a problem eater, but love to snack. I tasted my first Hip Pop and was hooked. The quality of the product was incredible and the taste was amazing. I even received a package of custom made Hip Pops for my birthday. It was delivered professionally packed in ice and I enjoyed them for almost a week (well, not really... I couldn't stop eating them). I watched "The Profit" last night and was appalled at the way Tony was portrayed on the show. His business ethic is exceptional, his facility is spotless, and he is an amazing person. I guess REALITY TV is really about drama. In my opinion, Tony does not need any assistance with his amazing company. Try a Hip Pop. You will be hooked. read more

HIp Pops is my drug of choice. They have all these amazing and some rather exotic creations, and they really can send you into an opium den of sugar and cream, but my absolute favorite is the Frozen Hot Chocolate. Amazing. Know what it tastes like? It tastes exactly like frozen hot chocolate. Besides that, they are so nice. I always enjoy seeing them and patronizing their business. One complaint: they never pull up in front of my house..... read more

HipPops is the best Gelato Pop I've ever tasted, There were 3 of us and we tasted 3 different flavors and they were all sensational, rich, deep flavors, chocolate dipped and toppings. This is how I rated them, 1. Mexican Chipotle Chocolate, dipped in semi sweet chocolate topped with salted pecans 2. Vanilla Bean dipped in milk chocolate topped with salted pretzels 3. Pistachio, dipped in milk chocolate topped with crushed pistachios. FANTASTIC! read more

Looking forward to having more HIP POPS in the near future! :) read more

I too found Hip Pops for the first time tonight at Hollywoods Young Circle food truck night. Turns out it was their first night there. What a great new addition to the food truck lineup. Excellent array of flavors, dips and toppings. My concerns about the Gelato Pistachio being too soft were eliminated on the first bite. The owner's (by the way one of the friendliest vendors) recommendation of semi sweet chocolate dip, with crushed pistachio topping, was perfect. They keep the gelato on a stick at just the right temperature. So the texture is creamy but firm, very rich and not too drippy at all. Not too sweet in the gelato or the chocolate dip. Visually so appealing that many many folks asked what it was and were they could get it. I was most happy to share my new find with them. If you love ice cream (who doesn't) , and gelato in particular, this is a must stop at any food truck gathering. They will be there at the hot dog fest on July 1st. Hope they go on to become one of the Monday night regulars. I will be back. read more
