She had…read moregone for 4 months without grooming due to a spay procedure, a new baby in the family, and getting rejected by groomers at Petco who didn't know how to treat her mats. Jennifer paired us with one of her groomers for doodles - yes she has groomers who specialize in doodles! We were very careful to find groomers who knew how to groom doodles after a horrendous experience at Oh My Dog (feel free to read my review on their page). The groomer here did an amazing job. It was clear that the mats around her ears were so bad that they needed to be shaved. The groomer not only shaved them safely, she was able to leave a layer of unmatted fur at the top so you can't really see the shaved parts. There were mats around her harness area too which the groomer either got out or thinned down so that I couldn't tell where it was. This is also a crate free facility (unless you specify that you want your dog crated). My doodle hates crates so it was so great for her to play with other dogs when she wasn't being groomed. When I picked up my dog, she was jumping with excitement all over and gave an enthusiastic goodbye to all the staff. It was so wonderful to see her so happy, especially as she's acted strange after being picked up from other groomers, which makes me wonder how long they crated her for or what they did to her while they were grooming her. This time I could tell that she had a great day and that made me so happy. It wasn't cheap to get out those mats, but it was worth it for the great cut and care, and hopefully we won't have a mat issue again.

All I can say is wow. After years of struggling with leash reactivity, bringing Ziggy here has been life-changing. He's truly a different dog. He now walks in a beautiful heel through crowded areas, stays calm around other dogs, and can even ignore dogs that run up behind him, something I never thought would be possible. The biggest gift has been seeing him able to simply coexist without feeling stressed, anxious, or frustrated. It's been such a breath of fresh air for both of us. I felt secure and comfortable right away especially that Tequila needed extra care (she has a hip joint problem and suffers a lot whenever someone touches her). When I came back to pick her up (she was ready before the due time and they tried calling me but was driving and heading there anyway) I was surprisingly happy to see how cute my baby Tequila looked and how at ease she was (she usually get very scared in an environment she is not used to). The price is very reasonable knowing that my baby was very tangled and it includes everything from shampoo to nails to trimming to eyes cleaning.... all for 55$ I already booked Tequila's next appointment for shampoo as I am really bad at brushing her hair and it gets tangled , when she stars shaking I start shaking . He had a vet app and the vet noted that he had a clot of wax knotted in his ear hair. A clot. They removed it and now she is "done" with this groomer. Their lack of care for what a dog mom has requested and what she thought was being done is not worth the somewhat less $$ deal she had hoped she was getting. The intake folks are always a bit brusque and definitely not welcoming. Like. At all. If you need minimal grooming for your fur baby. Maybe this bargain place will be ok. Overall? Don't recommend.

I love Groombuggy! Back when I was living in Hayward, we saw a Groombuggy in our neighborhood and I…read moregot interested in the mobile grooming service. After doing further research, I was quite shocked by the high price but decided to give it a try and have never looked back. I did not like taking my dog Cookie to get haircuts because when she would go to Petco for grooming services, it would take about 6 hours and my dog gets a lot of anxiety being around other dogs which would then give me anxiety as well during those 6 hours of waiting. Groombuggy on the other hand has been a lifesaver because I can consistently request for groomers we like and I have had nothing but great experiences. I first got paired with Sydney and my dog adapted to her very quickly, but after moving to the South Bay, we got paired with Francisco and he has been as equally as amazing! Although the price is high, I love knowing that my dog is getting 1-1 care and building that comfort with her groomer. Not only do I personally feel less anxiety as well, but I also appreciate the rapport I can build with their team as well. Their consistency in communication and transparency in letting me know if my dog is doing okay or too anxious, etc, is amazing. Scheduling an appointment and paying is very easy via text. Also, I live in an apartment now so Francisco lets me know when he's on the way and texts me throughout the grooming to let me know how Cookie is doing. I feel their team is very patient, understanding, and adaptable, which to me, is truly priceless. I see a lot of mixed reviews, but I personally love Groombuggy as someone who has struggled a lot with finding the right groomer for my dog. Not only did we find one great groomer, we found two! I truly trust them and appreciate their team. I would highly recommend giving Groombuggy a try! :)
