The craftsmanship is outstanding, the look and function of the bathroom is superb, and the wait worthwhile. Supply chain issues are real but once the materials came in, the renovation began. The builders were outstanding, involved me in day to day decisions, and were respectful of the rest of my home. From daily drop cloths in place to clean up in between as well as at the end, the project was worthwhile. And I love my new bathroom! Thank you to all involved in the process. read more

Excellent response time - we had an unplanned disaster with our roof leaking and they were able to get to us fairly quickly - we felt like our house was in good hands from beginning to end and followed the following summer to replace the siding. HIGH PRESSURE SALES JOB! Called for a quote for our roof. Expected the same as other contractors--discussion about what we were looking for, measuring etc. Estimator did this then gave us quotes with financing. Explained several times that we were not financing with them. Price quoted kept going down. Explained several times that we were not making a decision today and that we just wanted a quote. Instead wasted my time with a complete sales job. Finally had to tell him that we were done talking. Once I said that he left in a huff. Ridiculous. I have no idea if their products are good as I would NEVER hire this company. I want quality construction, not a sales job and financing. Extremely unimpressed. read more

We selected this company to replace a door, signed a contract and made a down payment. We were then informed after two months of working with them that they would not be taking on the project leaving us without a solution. Salesman had a good practiced pitch and laid out pricing on the quoted jobs I asked about. I didn't feel pressured as others might, but I was at my wits end dealing with the broken door. Double checked their work order and once the new door was ready they were out in a couple days and done before school was out. Work is good quality, laborers were friendly and had a pleasant demeanor. I enjoyed working with them. read more

The owner, Dave, has a 'service-to-self' mentality. It seems he can only see the world through a monetary lens. Employees and customers are merely capital to him and 'time is money.' I would suggest working with a different company for your construction project. Perhaps one that maintains a 'service-to-others' business model and seeks to build relationships more than financial gain. Even if that other company has a higher bid, I believe it will be worth working with a business that perceives the world in a better way. read more

Disgusting business habits!! We requested a quote and what we got was a full pressure sales pitch! Trying to get us to hire them for things that didn't need to be done! Tyler came and showed us how great their products are... he has experience in this, talking about how one project is super pricey, so let me help you and save you money (way to build rapport), then coming in hard with and $82,000 quote for siding and 3 windows... but wait, he can knock it down to $62,000. I continued to say we were not making any decisions today and he continued to try to do anything, replace doors, windows ANYTHING to make a sale. I eventually had to get pushy and say nothing you say right now is going to change the fact that we will not be making a decision today! Mind you, this is after he was down to $42,000 and willing to call his boss for more! He didn't like it when I said "wow this is just like buying a time share" I said no for the last time and luckily he got it, but the next time would have been asking him to leave my home! At this point Tyler's entire demeanor changed. He was no longer friendly, he was short and rude as he huffed and packed his materials! Incredibly unprofessional and even if there was a remote chance of using this company, it was completely destroyed there!! Hostile and confrontational is what I would call his behavior!! Beware!! If I could leave a 0 star review I would. Do not use hip and ridge as they will rip you off. Try asking them for their IRS Form W-9. They will come up with any excuse in the book not to provide it. If you hire a contractor then they work for you and must provide tax documentation. At least when they rip you off you can complete IRS form to turn them in for fraud. Their excuse after they take your money is they material supplier has not sent their stuff but in my experience I called the manufacturer and they told me hip and ridge never placed an order. DO NOT USE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE unless you have a bug to give away your money and get nothing in return. No competent contractor will ask for 50% up front as they will have credit with suppliers. read more
