I've since had a tech out five more times (Tuesday, Thursday X 2 and Friday x 2) and the tankless hot water heater has broken down again. I called today and was told that Advantage Air does not stand behind their repair work and that I should contact the manufacturer and/or installation company. I've paid out a lot of money and spent ten days essentially to back at square one. They didn't even offer to send a supervisor out to double check the work done. They also bled the gas line Friday afternoon and didn't tell us, causing us to notice a strong gas smell and call the gas company to come check for leaks. There was ZERO compassion from the person I spoke to on the phone today.

He provided us with basic information and offered to come out to the property within a couple of days of the initial call. On inspection day, a Friday, he promptly arrived with his gear to complete a thorough inspection and test samples of the mold and air. He communicated by phone and text before, during, and after. Once he left, he sent the samples off to the lab. We received detailed reports from him and the lab via email on the following Tuesday. He followed up with a phone call to discuss what it all meant, and the severity of the mold in the home. Week or so later, he went back to the property with a contractor. They inspected the property together and followed up with an hour long conference call with me within a few days. We discussed action plans, and what exactly the property needed. We decided to take the first step of just demolition (removing the affected walls, subfloor, and ceiling), so that the contractor could give us a more exact estimate of what we were looking at, in terms of joist replacement and such. Steve called and was able to start the project about a week earlier than expected. He kept me updated by text. Due to winter storms, there were some delays, but the job was finished and really allowed us to see the full scope of things. His quotes for demo, removing the mold, sanitizing, dehumidifiers, vapor barriers, etc were very reasonable. Steve was very transparent and available through thr full process. I would recommend him and his team, as his communication skills are fantastic, and that is something very hard to come by in the service industries like this.

He offers a large variety of services. If there is something you need done that is not on his "list", just call and ask. He can do just about anything and is more than happy to help. We've been in the area 10 years and finding a good handyman has been really difficult. Alec has been great! We have recommended him to friends and family and all of them have been happy with his work. I would highly recommend him to anyone and we won't be using anyone else.

They gave us an estimate before the lumber shortage this summer, so had to hand build each panel and the gate, and didn't upcharge us. That's a lot of work! They worked very quickly and cleaned up the yard nicely, and even put down grass seed where there was dirt- very nice touch. Super impressed by the extra wide handmade gate- you can't even tell it's a gate from outside of our yard, just looks like a solid fence- and it's super secure because it only opens from inside the yard. Has a place for an optional padlock as well. Have not seen a design like this before- very creative and beautiful! We are so grateful for the crew that tackled this project- it was hard work and they did a BEAUTIFUL job on it. Will hire them for future projects.
