He responded more quickly than the others I had called, provided a reasonable estimate, and efficiently had the install done before the other estimates were even made. For the install, Loren checked with me on multiple items including the location of vent and gas piping before drilling the holes to the outside. I was kept informed of what was coming (e.g. Loren is on his way) from Nicole via text message which I appreciated. Inspection next week, not anticipating any problems. Highly recommend.

After posting my review, Stone's insurance company immediately tripled their offer to settle in exchange for removing my negative review. I refused, because it still does not cover the cost of fixing the problems with Stone's plumbing installation. However, I wanted to share my experience so everyone knows they pay to have negative reviews removed. Take that into consideration when choosing a plumber. And if you decide to go with Stone and have problems, leaving a negative review may lead help. Unfortunately companies like Stone have figured out how to game the review system.

We decided to replace it and accepted Twin Ports Custom Climate's bid. They offered a high efficiency wall hung boiler for the same price a competitor offered a 85% efficiency unit. It took about 2 weeks to get scheduled for the project. It was cold out and was a two day job. The disruption was minimal as the first day prep work and venting was set up. The next day a crew of 4 came out and 8 hrs. later our new furnace was operating and the mess cleaned up and removed. The installer's were friendly, professional and kept me informed about their progress. We are very happy with our new furnace and the job was completed exactly as we were told it would be. I would recommend using TPCC for a furnace servicing and replacement.

We specialize in radiant infloor heat, high efficiency boilers, geothermal heat pumps and high efficiency furnaces. Every one of our projects goes through a rigorous design process to ensure the system is sized properly so that it can provide the optimal comfort at the lowest possible operating costs. Oversizing a system results in short cycling, decrease in comfort, efficiency drops and shorter equipment life. Undersizing equipment results in comfort levels that can't be achieved. The only sure way to properly size equipment is to perform a ACCA Manual J Load Calculation which takes into account the age of the home, insulation levels, window types and home orientation. Design Heating LLC performs these calculations and many others to properly size and install the comfort system that will be around for many trouble free years.
