We decided to replace it and accepted Twin Ports Custom Climate's bid. They offered a high efficiency wall hung boiler for the same price a competitor offered a 85% efficiency unit. It took about 2 weeks to get scheduled for the project. It was cold out and was a two day job. The disruption was minimal as the first day prep work and venting was set up. The next day a crew of 4 came out and 8 hrs. later our new furnace was operating and the mess cleaned up and removed. The installer's were friendly, professional and kept me informed about their progress. We are very happy with our new furnace and the job was completed exactly as we were told it would be. I would recommend using TPCC for a furnace servicing and replacement.

He showed me the parts he checked and helped me to understand what he was looking for to know if anything needed attention. Their technician showed up, spent several hours "diagnosing" the issue, and told us it needed a new part that was still under warranty. He then quoted us nearly $4,000 plus the $120 dispatch fee just for the labor to replace it. I immediately called a different local company. Their technician arrived, spent less than 30 minutes identifying the exact same problem, quoted $600 total (including their dispatch fee), and had the furnace fixed and running properly within a few hours. ASP also pushes a "membership program" that supposedly gives you 20% off repairs. It's a complete scam designed to make their outrageous prices look like a "deal." Don't fall for it. This is not honest business. It's predatory pricing and a waste of your time and money. If your furnace or HVAC goes out, do yourself a favor and call literally any other local company. Stay far away from ASP.
