During the two years that Tom worked for me, I was mostly satisfied with his work. Our phone communication was always good; his email responsiveness, however, was not always the best. However, after my recent experience with him, which resulted in the termination of our working relationship, I must say I have come to question his judgement, integrity as well as accountability. Problems arose when I decided to raise the rent in one of my units this past summer and asked Tom to notify the tenants in spring. For months he assured me that everything was fine, the tenants had been notified and, when renewal time came, a new lease had been signed. However, after we failed to collect the new rent amount for several months in a row, I contacted my tenants, at which point it became clear that Tom had never pursued the lease renewal. Tom Rotella has let me down in a big way by failing to have my tenants sign an agreed upon lease renewal with a rent increase, which resulted in their tenancy becoming month-to-month as well as hundreds of dollars in lost revenue. Once I confronted him with the evidence and asked to see the lease, he stopped responding altogether. I wrote Tom one last email, giving him a chance to clarify and possibly rectify the situation. He has not responded to my email to this day. I therefore cannot recommend Tom Rotella to anyone looking for a reliable and dependable property manager.

After an extremely negative situation with another firm that I think is now out of business, I was referred to Tom, who got my property back on track and made it profitable for the very first time. Redstone Property Management is honestly one of the worst property management companies I have ever…read moredealt with. They send emails at ridiculous hours late at night, but somehow still manage to be completely useless when you actually need them to do their job. The whole process feels backwards. They want you to pay application fees and background check fees before they will even properly show you the property, which is absolutely insane. Why would anyone want to hand over money before even being able to see what they are applying for? They are also completely unwilling to work with people on even the most basic, simple requests. I asked for a small amendment that every other landlord I have ever had would have made in about five minutes, and they just flat-out rejected it. No flexibility, no compromise, no common sense, just a hard no for something that should not have been a big deal at all. If you have any kind of actual life, school, work, military obligations, travel, or need to leave town for more than a week or two, I would stay far away from this company. They act like any small request is some massive inconvenience and make the entire process way more difficult than it needs to be. I would never rent from them, never recommend them, and never consider any of their properties again. Zero stars if I could. Complete waste of time.

They do illegal things and claim that the "lease" has the terms in it. The law is the law and if you cannot abide by it then you shouldn't be in business. They caused absolute destruction and devastation to my families lives and leaving us no choice to flee out of state with public humiliation. After no attempt at communication they left us with nothing but the clothes on our backs. -I felt like I needed to warn others of this devastation so that it could hopefully be avoided for others. -I also am using a fake name due to I don't need to be harassed by a company that has already done extreme damage to our lives. We are still building on getting our lives back together and cannot do anything about this due to being thousands of miles away.

What a great apartment hunting experience! Not something you often hear from people looking for…read morehousing, especially in the Burlington area. The level of service and professionalism I received from Ashley and the Fusion Property Management staff during my housing search was outstanding. Working with Fusion was the only time I have ever truly felt like the customer in a rental search, not something one can say about many landlords or property managers. Fusion definitely went the extra mile to help us find an apartment in a location and price range that suited us - they even helped find a person to fill an extra room in a pinch! Also of note- Fusion's does an excellent job screening tenants so you know their properties are in top condition and if you're renting in a duplex you can be sure that you're sharing walls with respectful neighbors. I recommend Fusion without hesitation and definitely plan on working with them when it comes time to rent or buy another property.

Called at 2pm, which I saw is outside their (strangely limited) business hours, but thought I'd leave a message and they'd later call me. However, got: "This call is being recorded." Then on-hold music which I hung up on after a minute. So I can't say I've done business with these folks, but I can say it's kinda sad when a business is "open" only about 8 hours a week and can't even get their phone system to handle voicemail messages. Seems Fusion isn't a serious company and should be avoided when practical.

Not the greatest experience. Frankly I feel relieved to have moved out after only 6 months. I'll…read moreexplain... I am originally from Southern California and never experienced a property management company as eager to take money without actually doing worthy in return. Their apartments flood Craigslist and comprised the majority during the time I was looking prior to my move. Ultimately I felt like I got a good deal on a studio that was listed as fully renovated. Bissonette also offered to give me a virtual walk through while was still in CA so I could get a better idea. I thought it was a great idea, obliged, and got a pretty good glimpse (or so I thought). I signed the lease and sent them the deposit quickly so I could have something in place for when I arrived during the winter. After the 6 day drive from CA to VT, I was shocked to find that the building was a complete dump and the apartment was severely misrepresented in the photos. It was about 20% accurate of what I expected. To make matters worse, little things like simple communication to residents was never made a priority. Often times I would wake up on a Saturday morning to the wonderful sounds of construction right above my head, construction workers shouting profanity, missed package deliveries (because one half of the building is completely different than the other half), residents whining about parking spaces (even though nothing was clearly assigned), and overall price when compared to the quality of the living space. I just feel like this company has really overstretched the scope of what they are capable are doing given the staff size. They are polite when you speak to them over the phone or email, but I just don't think they are equipped to provide the best experience to residents and it doesn't help that their listings are really exaggerated for what you pay for.

The quality of the building was disgusting, there were bugs, mice, holes, crumbling walls, etc. Be warned, you will be charged a large amount out of your deposit even if you take good care of your crumbling apartment. The laundry was constantly broken and the price for laundry increased SEVERAL TIMES across one year with NO WARNING. The premises are horribly maintained and if you have an issue, Nichole will either ignore you, be slow to respond, and/or be extremely rude. The top of the stove was hot constantly despite not being in use. I was told this was normal for gas appliances so my monthly gas bill was astronomical despite rarely using the stove and oven. My cat developed horrible asthma while living in this apartment and their asthma has completely cleared since moving. It is truly shameful the way Bisonette and Nichole treat their tenants. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM.

We're under the assumption they were processing the lease not just the application. We asked questions, which never got answered. They called our landlord and recieved an excellent reference. Calls/texts/emails never answered. They showed a lack of professionalism and experience regardless of their years in the industry, we were treated like garbage. These people missed out on a family who desperately needed the home, had the money, and qualifications as well as willingness to negotiate on how to make us work out. We received a letter stating we were denied (after we were under the impression we were approved) and I asked for an explanation and got no response. Upset is an understatement. The biggest complaint I have is the lack of communication, and not having the courtesy to answer our questions. If you're looking for good people to work with DO NOT give these people your money. Don't even try to, they'll ignore you. Apparently the manager is apparently "going through personal issues" which was the reasoning we got whenever we asked for updates. so for anyone looking to rent, if you see Yana as the manager, expect to be ignored and brushed off, better yet just run, don't walk.

That was when they stopped communicating, responding to emails, phone calls, or text messages.
