The cabin is fully equipped including cable tv, dvd, fully supplied kitchen, comfortable beds, plush towels in the bathroom, and an outside deck directly overlooking both the cove and ocean. There's a round table with chairs and umbrella to get out of the sun and two very comfy chairs (one lounge with footrest) to sit and read or just take in the beautiful views. Best sunsets around! The place is beautifully decorated and spotless, with so many thoughtful touches throughout. I needed to squeeze in a bit of remote work during my vacation and AB make it so easy. The wifi is fast and reliable (not always a given in this area) and cell service was solid too. There's a good desk setup with a comfortable chair, plus plenty of cozy spots to relax. Staring out over the pacific honestly made feel like I wasn't even working. What really made my stay special was Donna's warmth and hospitality. She feels more like an old friend than just a host. She's so so kind, full of local tips, and genuinely committed to making sure everything went well. I always felt welcome and supported, never like I was a bother no matter how many questions I had. We rented a home with this agency, mainly due to lack of choices from our preferred vacation…read morerental. The home we rented (for over $400 per night, plus a $200 non-refundable cleaning deposit) was the "Urban Escape" on Sea Ranch. The property itself was in need of some repairs and upgrades: the hot water tank gave out the first night. The rental agency contact did get a plumber out to us, but I had got the pilot to stay lit while he was there, and he left with the wrong diagnosis (improper ventilation). After repeated re-lightings, the pilot would not stay on. We gave up on it. Also, the built-in microwave was kaput, and the original oven controls were missing. A replacement microwave was set on a counter. One day into the stay, a cabinet door to the kitchen sink area fell off. The fill cycle in the master bath toilet would not shut off without jiggling the handle. Coasting Home should have known of the issues with this home, and should not have listed it. Answer? $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

This is the vacation home rentals in Sea Ranch we use. We will always use them. We tried a…read moredifferent one , one year, and regretted it, and went right back to our tried and true Beach Rentals. These Folks bend over backwards for you. They go the extra mile to make sure you are taken care of. If we are running late, they make special arrangements for the house key, and make sure the hot tub is heating up. We have found over the years that it is actually cost effective and far more rewarding to rent a home in Sea Ranch than stay in a Hotel or Inn on the Coast. They only take checks or cash no credit cards. A ROMANTIC GETAWAY MUST! [A cautionary tale: if you are going to enjoy the hot tub late at night, make sure one of the doors is unlocked, or you have the key with you. We did not: and the only window open was on the second floor bathroom - a skinny one. So, my hunny put the teak bench on it's end, hoisted himself into that tiny crevice and bam down to the floor he goes. After he visited a black widow spider on his way through, but he was fine, I think the spider was to busy trying to figure out what was going on! The rest is history... just don't forget to take care of the door before your legs turn to rubber in the hot tub!]

You can chill with the lighthouse cat or explore with flashlights under the moon. During our stay we went to the top of the lighthouse many times.. it's a quite few steps but worth it! The gift shop is also cool! We went home with a shirt and a magnet. Although the need for this lighthouse is no longer, it still works and is magnificent as is the whole park! Complete with rocky cliffs and a labyrinth by the sea.

Waking up to that alone was worth it. I did not want to leave haha The Owners Karen and Clif were so kind and welcoming :) such great hosts. You can tell they really care about the place and their guests. We are already making plans for our next visit! This is my new favorite place to stay on the coast.

I recommend purchasing paper towels to bring and there is a local store in Gualala about 10 mins away where you can buy any other additional things you may need. The beds were incredible comfortable. I would recommend bringing your own body wash (personal preference). Try out ALL the activities they have to offer! The owners are incredibly sweet and take such a great job with upkeep and hospitality. They also offer additional retreat weekends I would take advantage of! Already planning my next visit back:)

She had been here before but it was my first time and I can't say enough good things about it. Deanna and Cab clearly love their place and share it freely. We did the farm tour which was very inspirational and informative for wannabe gardeners like us! I feel inspired. We had fresh eggs and fresh picks from the garden at every meal. Beautiful views and so relaxing to just sit out in nature. Don't miss the stars at night and do not miss getting the fried chicken basket! We definitely will return, I think it needs to at least be a yearly event!
