My partner has struggled with Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue for over 20yrs. She is designated disabled. She has fallen ill with something viral that has taken her down for the count. I asked for any reasonable accommodation you can provide in order to move the date..even a slot they normally have a tough time filling. Please. I got the reply that was promising, "... we completely understand that health situations like this are unpredictable. While our standard policy applies, we'll do our best to explore options to help and we recommend travel insurance to help cover unexpected emergencies like this." After asking twice more for future dates, they denied our disability accommodation. We were forced to ask for a refund and lose $900. Not easy on a fixed income..adding to an already difficult time that was supposed to be a special time. We just wanted to move the date. I understand they are running a business and it seems to be a nice place. As long as things don't come up, you are probably fine with them. This is more a message to the disability community and for those that understand life happens. Peace & Love.

Nowadays most of the homes are rentals or second homes, the community never happened but you do get peace and quiet with not a lot of people around. We rented a weekend home from Grand Welcome and had to drive 8 minutes north to pick up our keys at Gualala. The Kabella house was easy access to everything, we drove no longer than 10 minutes everywhere we went. Our favorite part was the glass-panel wood burning stove and the outdoor Jacuzzi that lets you enjoy the stars on clear nights.

We tried a…read moredifferent one , one year, and regretted it, and went right back to our tried and true Beach Rentals. These Folks bend over backwards for you. They go the extra mile to make sure you are taken care of. If we are running late, they make special arrangements for the house key, and make sure the hot tub is heating up. We have found over the years that it is actually cost effective and far more rewarding to rent a home in Sea Ranch than stay in a Hotel or Inn on the Coast. They only take checks or cash no credit cards. A ROMANTIC GETAWAY MUST! [A cautionary tale: if you are going to enjoy the hot tub late at night, make sure one of the doors is unlocked, or you have the key with you. We did not: and the only window open was on the second floor bathroom - a skinny one. So, my hunny put the teak bench on it's end, hoisted himself into that tiny crevice and bam down to the floor he goes. After he visited a black widow spider on his way through, but he was fine, I think the spider was to busy trying to figure out what was going on! The rest is history... just don't forget to take care of the door before your legs turn to rubber in the hot tub!]

Because this is a small town there are not as many options to choose from for these services. I had not heard of Veikko before as they do not spend as much on advertising as their competition, but I decided to take a risk. Joel has been consistently professional, knowledgeable, helpful, proactive, and easy to get a hold of. My experience with him has been like night and day as compared to my experience with the other related companies this is especially impressive given that my rental was at the high end of the market at a time when the Market is overfilled with rentals in my range, and during a period in which it was taking much longer to get vacanc is filled. Even though Veilkko Provided this service on a fixed rate basis, they continued to provide the same high level of service even though it took much longer to fill the apartment than we had anticipated. Their prices were lower than their competition, Not only for the basic services but also for the photography package.  This company, Veikko,  is smaller than the competition, But this is an advantage because you get personalized service and a much quicker response.
