The breakfast next morning, however, was disappointing and lacking. We came down at 6:30am when nobody else except one other lady was there yet. The yogurt machine wasn't ready and there were no sandwiches. The cereal selections included Raisin Bran and Cheerios. They had instant oatmeal, apple sauce cups, banana and hard boiled eggs. As we were waiting for sandwiches, a 3 person family who sat down after us was given priority for the sandwiches. The lady making them literally handed them over to this 3 person family sitting at their table instead of putting them down where the sandwiches go. I was fine with that except we were in a hurry. When I asked for them next (assuming she went by those who asked her first), she did not give it to me but put it in the sandwich section. At this time, there were 10 more people already. The problem is she only brought out three at a time. A lady took one and I took two for our family of four and I had to feel terrible about it. Later, I heard from the 3 person family that they didn't even want all the sandwiches. Needless to say, I am extremely unhappy about this breakfast experience. We left at 6:55am. Please tell the staff to have sandwiches ready at the breakfast hour at 6am as listed. Also please tell the staff not to hand sandwiches to people whilst there are other folks waiting for them. It was extremely UNFAIR of her to do so. The overall experience is 2 stars since 2 stars were deducted for the breakfast experience.

I booked the place, I received texts regarding what my door code would be and a link to book early and/or late check in/out, pet fee. A dog friendly place was necessary for us. Keep an eye out for a Miner's Camp sign to find the place. Drive through and park at your cabin. One of them has handicap parking.. We had a great stay. The place was clean with the exception of some spiderwebs and dust. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash were fixed in the shower. Decent water pressure. There were extra towels in a drawer, a couple makeup remover towelettes by the sink, an extra roll of toilet paper. The kitchen had a small fridge with a small freezer area, stove, oven, utensils, pots and pans. I do, however, wish there were more garbage cans. There was a small one in the bathroom and a small one in the kitchen. The sitting area on the porch was great. The TV in the living space was nice as well. Across the street was Brew Master's Deli-- note their hours. Worton's Market (a popular supermarket with a view) is 3-5 minutes away. We would definitely stay again.

Regardless, since I rolled in on 0% battery charge, they made a exception and let me plug in for a little while so that I can actually make it up to the level 3 charger in the morning. One time I found a giant tampon in my bathroom. Then I found where are you staying on my sheet, but this last time was the worst. One roll of toilet paper in the room, my pillow smell like perfume, but worst of all was a lack of respect and derogatory racist feelings I felt when I was outside at the vending machine. I was feeding money to the machine and the door to left me burst open. One of the managers or owners stepped out and looked at me. Right off the bat he asked what are you doing here? Why are you here? He demanded "do you have a room here" and I said yes. He said yes which one and questioned my honesty. He thought it was some kind of homeless bum. I told him which room I was in and he asked me twice more to verify it. I've never been so humiliated in my life. These guys are horrible human beings.. I'll never go again. Avoid like the plague.

The photos and room description was different depending on what site you looked at. There is a steep staircase to get up to the upper rooms so if stairs are an issue, book one of the downstairs rooms We had the Stafford suite and it was amazing. Nicely decorated and again, that bed was so so comfy. If you are under 5'8" you may need a step stool to get in the bed! It can be noisy with the freeway and train nearby but we weren't bothered by it. There is a huge fountain outside the window that helps. This would be a great place for a small wedding or family reunion... the whole place is inviting and cozy. I am sure the grounds are gorgeous in the spring! They do not offer breakfast so we brought some muffins and fruit and enjoyed our coffee in the parlor... you do have full use of the kitchen so If you want to cook, you can. The owners are very prompt to reply if you have questions and check in was a breeze! We will most definitely be back!
