So I went to the jiffy lube in Franklin ma. Very small place can only do two cars at a time which is fine it wasn't busy. I waited about ten minutes and then went inside I was yelled at by the gm Jonathan and who told me to move faster into the bay. Telling me to "hurry up let's go" I kept my cool at that point. Jonathan asked me for my info address and email I gave him the email and he got it wrong I kept telling him it was wrong and he said "dont worry about I know how to spell " so I let it go. I popped the hood and Jonathan pulled the dip stick out, he got a phone call on his cell phone and threw the dip stick in the engine compartment getting oil all over the inside of the engine compartment. Another associate came and cleaned most of it up. Then it was time to pay he comes to me and tells me "that will be 91.69 " I said what? What did you guys do change the oil that's it? You didn't check the lights check the air in the tires nothing. And your telling me it's 91.69. He said yes! I can not believe I paid 92 dollars for an oil change. On a 2012 honda civic . This is actually the second time they've provided 'over and above expectations' service, and it's the reason I bring all of my family's cars here and recommend it to others. Obviously the news can't always be this good - sometimes you really do need work and it can require costly parts or labor-intensive service, but that's exactly why you need to find a place you can trust.

I verified that they had the right number on file - they did. Now picking up my car over 6 hours after dropping it off. Do not bother scheduling an appointment or plan on getting your car back anywhere close to their time estimate.

Then I experienced their service and quality. Making an appointment is ridiculously easy. There's constant communication from them when your car is being worked on. They give you everything not only in writing but in an email that you can say if so you can plan future work. They help you know what needs to be done immediately and what can be deferred to another visit. That is almost unheard of. I'm so used to getting a high pressure sales pitch every time my car goes in. That doesn't happen at Grove Street. You're given a list and almost like a to-do list you receive things that are immediate concerns, things that can be deferred and things that are acceptable and already being worked on. They have loaner cars if you need them and they even offer shuttle service to and from your house. Everything is explained in advance and their prices are incredible. It's a great value. Don't park it like a half ass dick. Yeah you have a small lot but try harder for your customers!! Never going back here and you shouldn't either !! It's no wonder this place is buried behind 3 other businesses all the way up a hill way out back .... So they can get away with doing shady shit.

Hours later was told the axle was also bad. This should have been seen when the transmission was dropped. Now they want more $ and can't guarantee that there is nothing else wrong. I would not have replaced the transmission if they had given a complete evaluation. Car is now on its way to the scrap yard.
