I was told on the phone that there were "only two people ahead of me," yet nothing was explained about appointments taking 2+ hours or the possibility of not being seen at all. After waiting an unreasonable amount of time, I was finally told there was no guarantee my dog would even be seen that night. That should have been explained before I wasted hours sitting there with an injured pet. The lack of empathy was shocking. No kindness, no concern, no basic customer service, just attitude and indifference while people sit there stressed and scared about their animals. If you're considering this place, be prepared to: * Wait for hours * Be ignored * Be treated rudely * Possibly never be seen at all Pet owners deserve honesty, communication, and compassion, especially in urgent situations. This place failed on all fronts. I would never return and strongly suggest others look elsewhere to avoid the frustration and emotional stress I went through.

Everyone from the receptionist from the veterinarian is exactly how they ought to be - compassionate and understanding. I always call before I come in, as a nervous dog mom I want to make sure I am not letting emotions rule my decisions. Both times I've visited on a Saturday, my normal vet wasn't open and even if they were, my normal vet has been too busy to get my dogs in to a doctor in a sufficient amount of time. I am so eternally grateful for the people that work at the Pet Urgent Care.

My cat had cancer and was nearing the end of his time. We had an appointment scheduled for Friday but he took a turn and I knew he wouldn't make it so we spent the entire day with him and brought him in in the evening. Over the phone I was quoted $195. I brought $300 with me, all I have until my next paycheck. They asked if I wanted ashes back and I desperately did but it would've taken the price to $343. I told them I only had $300 and they offered to take off the ashes and do a paw print or a nose print. I agreed on a nose print and it took the final price to $266. All I wanted was to bring my baby back home with me. They did make the experience as nice as they could for both of us. I just wish the prices weren't so high. It could have been worse though - my regular vet wanted to charge about $588 for it. Which would've included a $100 exam, $160 for the procedure, and the remaining cost for cremation and a paw print and none of it was optional. People should be able to take their pets ashes home. I wish they would've at least worked with me a little on it, maybe take my $300 and have me pay the rest when I come back or find a way to make it $300. I was only $43 short. It's been such a rough year and especially a rough December. My good friend passed away two weeks before Christmas, my sisters house burned down, the day after Christmas I find out my cat is nearing the end of his life, and on top of helping replace things for my sister and helping take care of them it was just the holidays so money is already tight enough. It felt like I failed a little bit hearing I was only $43 short from taking my baby's ashes home.

From start to finish, everything about this visit exceeded our expectations. They were incredibly helpful over the phone, walking us through next steps and using their waitlist call-back system, which was such a game changer. We were able to call, explain our dog's injury, and then wait comfortably at home until they called us to head in. Once we arrived, we were seen within about 15 minutes, and the entire visit took around 30 minutes total, so efficient and stress-free. The staff and doctor were so kind, calm, and reassuring, which made a stressful situation feel completely manageable. You can tell they genuinely care about both pets and their owners. On top of the excellent care, the ambience is beautiful and cozy, welcoming space with a warmly lit fireplace that feels homey yet modern. It honestly doesn't feel like a typical vet office at all. 10/10 would recommend Midnight Sun Animal Hospital to anyone looking for compassionate, efficient, and high-quality veterinary care. I will say, we did wait quite a long time, but I'm willing to wait for better care than some of the other clinics I've been to. They called me to say they videotaped me, and agreed I said I do not want to argue. They criticized me because they said I left "in a huff" and they wanted to sever the relationship. The last visit we went in for was for they didn't know what even though they made the appointment and we ended up having a vaccine sooner than needed because they didn't know what to do with the appointment. This time they didn't also know what to do with the appointment or exactly what tests to run at the appointment time. Somebody who is in the know is not in charge. It must be frustrating not to know your job.

Jordan booked me to see a new Dr. Natalie Drozdowski and I liked her profile on their website stating she specializes in senior pet care. When I arrived for my appointment we received exam from Dr Evans instead of Drozdowski. My pet's incontinence since this exam and administration of a 2nd round of antibiotics has not improved the severe incontinence. I walked into the clinic this morning requesting euthanasia and the clinic refused services. As the pet owner who is compassionate about my multiple pets' lives I know what is best for my pets. I am dissappointed in the refusal of services by Dr. Evans. I had to schedule euthanasia for my dog Luna elsewhere and plan to find another clinic for future services for my cats.

The emails were friendly so I felt positive.. I arrived at the shelter and Jillian said she had not been emailing me, and some other woman had. So she lied about exchanging emails. Our cat was really upset in her carrier and I almost changed my mind. She took our cat and she refused to let me see where our cat would be placed . She said something about a quarantine which was totally ridiculous. Our cat's shots were very up to date. Then Jillian had me fill out a very lengthy registration for our cat's history on a super tiny laptop which was incredibly difficult to use. I finally was done filling out the forms. I decided to just look through the window to try to see my cat. Jillian came over to me and said in a very rude tone, nothing is needed from you, so you can leave! I was very upset that Jillian would speak to me in such a horribly rude manner. I had donated a lot of towels, to the shelter and they were still sitting on a chair when I left. Not one word of thanks! I looked at my cat on the SPCA website and I felt sick! Our cat was sitting on a stained pet bed and half of the bed was hanging off a shelf. It did not look like a big space and there were no windows. I regret very much giving our cat to SPCA. Jillian should not be working there at all. She's a terrible example of customer service. I will never recommend SPCA to anyone in the community. I would go pay to get out cat back if I could. I am very worried about her. They have a weird rule about that though!
