These 1 star reviews Including the one from her son are all false and nonsense. We've know Sherry for many years. We've gotten a puppy who is now 8 months old and she is fully healthy per her vet paperwork and ours when we took her in for grooming and shots. We have also transported her puppies to dozens of families across the US and all were healthy and met USDA regulations for breeding and transport. Not a single family was unhappy. The negative reviews are people who Sherry wouldn't give a puppy too because she screens all would be adoptees to make sure they are a good fit. She treats her pups like her children not just animals and it shows with their temperaments and character. The review from Jeremy is because she wouldn't meet he demands in life to live with her and give him money because he needs to learn to take care of himself after making bad decisions in life and her looking out for the safety of her pups and herself. Now he is on a smear campaign to ruin what she has spent her life perfecting. There is no reason you should ever regret or hesitate to get a pup from Sherry at hillside Kennels. We adopted Shyia about 2 weeks ago, she has a great temperament, very smart and Loving. In Great health no issues with transitioning to our home she did get a little car sick the first time in the car but after that she's been great no issues with eating or bowel movements she acclimated to our family very nicely we are so excited for our new addition. I would recommend this kennel and breeder to anyone I know the adoption went smoothly the gal who does this was very kind and patient with my family (we have a 2 year old who wanted all the puppies) you could tell that she loves every puppy that she has, and made sure we were the right fit for the breed. I had read past reviews and can say as a person who is currently been to her place those reviews are not the case and this breeder is legit and takes very good care of her dogs and puppies spends time with them and it shows. Our puppy is very well mannered and socialized. She is taking very well to the adjustments of a new place and potty training and outside time learning to stay in the yard has been a breeze. Today is November 18th, 2023. Yet again we received another nasty message from Sherry. Even brought up that an Amazon driver came into our yard and hit our dog. Our dogs are trained to stay in their safe place which is their yard. I have lived here for 24 years and nothing like this has ever happened before. It was horrible! I was outside with my dogs! The driver would not stop when he saw them coming to welcome him IN OUR YARD! And somehow in Sherry's twisted way of thinking she is getting enjoyment out of it! My god! I am not jealous of Sherry. I do not know her well at all. What is there to be jealous of anyway? I placed a factual review and here they came! I don't wish bad on anyone, but I also do not wish for these pups to be in the situation they were in when we were there. PERIOD! I have asked Sherry numerous questions on here and she cannot answer any of them. She just attacks. At her age she should Know better. She should offer to try to find a way to work it out with some of these folks instead of attacking everyone. I want nothing from her except for her to stop harassing us and to do better with these pups. SHE SHOULD NOT BE HAVING PUPPIES IN THE WINTER FOR ONE THING! read more

In the past decade we have purchased two standard poodles and a mini sheepadoodle from Hillside Kennel. All the dogs were first given a clean bill of health by a veterinarian. We first met Sherry, the owner, when we were still grieving the loss of our poodle who had died of cancer at 3. Sherry said a prayer with us that the little pup we got would have a long, happy life and he did. We were impressed by Sherry. She is committed to ethical dog breeding and is an anti-puppy mill activist. For example, the younger brother that we took home the following year was the last litter from that poodle mom. She limits each female to a set number of litters with some R&R in-between each one. Sherry also tries to find a dog that fits the owner. When we were looking into a sheepadoodle that was frantically chewing my cuffs, she pointed to the white one falling asleep in my wife's arms and said, "That one may be more your speed!". Hillside Kennel is hands down the Best. Sherry is an amazing breeder. She is loving and knowledge and wants the best for all of her puppies and her puppy families. We have gotten a Golden Doodle baby girl in the past and now we have Bernadoodle Brothers from Sherry and also a retired Golden Doodle All the our puppies have been so sweet and smart and good mannered. They are part of our family and we love them very much! I would Hillside Kennel and Sherry as #1. We referred friends who also got sibling girl doodle puppies from Sherry and Hillside Kennel and they are amazing also sweet and smart and good mannered. Update to Sherry's response: I was sent the fathers paperwork after WEEKS of asking and stating I would get higher authority involved. It would be "sad" for this review if there weren't multiple like it. I blocked you because as seen below in previous reviews, you went psycho on people and you are not worth the fight. The way you got so defensive says a lot about everything. You stated that anyone can go on and write a review. I can assure you these people experienced situations similar to me and these wouldn't be written otherwise. Sherry is thee most conscientious, capable, reputable breeder there is! (Dispite some nasty "reviews" her nasty son & his cohorts posted in order to scandalized her & her longstanding reputable business---shame on you by the way!). Sherry is very educated in animal husbandry & breeding & raising animals. She's extremely knowledgeable in the care of her doodles & other dogs. I have 2 dogs from Sherry, one is 5 and one is 6 months. Both female Sheepadoodles, we couldn't have asked for nicer dogs! She is very good with her dogs our dogs have been very healthy and well cared for when we received them. Sherry loves her dogs and has helped us become accustomed to raising this awesome breed!
