The restaurant is fairly dated but that gives it some charm. The parking lot and access is fairly crammed in a the commerical area of Cranberry. We were hungry and went a little overboard with our order. We tried the hot dogs, burgers, fries, pastachilli and drinks. We sat at the counter and our waitress was awesome, a typical character - which is what I love about the Pittsburgh area. She stayed on us throughout our experience and helped us through the unknown as most people here looked like seasoned vets. I really enjoyed the burger, the fresh cut fries and their chilli sauce. The burger patty was thin and similar to smash burgers. My wife raved about the pastachilli which was just fusilli pasta smothered in their chilli sauce. Soda even came in souvenir plastic drink cups which we happily took. Even better -- our bill for 3 was $35 plus tip. We left more than full and had a great trip. If you like hot dog joints then you can't miss this one.

We typically always order the New York style hot dogs - mustard, onions, chili, and pickles. The potato salad which reminds me of my mother's. They do have other options for lunch and breakfast. My best comparison is that it tasted like a hotdog you'd get at the concession stand at a high school football game. The hotdog looked and tasted like a standard Oscar Meyer, the bun like Wonderbread, there was almost no chili on it. They truly made no effort to make it taste good. My wife got a Chicago dog. I'm not sure any part of it resembled a true Chicago dog. The fries were McDonald's style, They were OK but not quite as good as McDonalds. My wife asked for cheese on hers. They slapped a piece of American cheese over top the fries. That's a first for me. The only good part of the experience came at the end. We were waiting for our check (no one told us you have to go up front) when a younger waitress came over and was very friendly, as was the owner who was there at the counter. The bill came in at an affordable price too. I don't enjoy giving such poor reviews, but I don't think it matters here. These guys obviously have a loyal, regular clientele. They cater to them and not intruders like us.

The cheese was melted perfectly, the bacon was crispy and packed with flavor--just an all-around perfect burger. Fast forward to today--I finally had time after work and called at 5:12 (they close at 5:30). He answered with so much energy and professionalism, like he hadn't already been behind the grill all day. I told him how I'd been thinking about that burger all week and asked if there was still time--he said yes without hesitation. I rushed over, got to chat with him and his family, and you can just tell it's a genuine, hardworking family business. And the burger? EXACTLY the same. Just as perfect as the first time. No drop-off, no "off day"--he delivered again. Safe to say, I'm officially converted. I'll definitely be back. Thank you for staying open and making another amazing burger!

I guess what I'm trying to say is: Come to Tito's for the sloppy dogs, stay for the amazing chicken nuggets. The chicken nuggets are deep fried and perfectly crispy, with juicy, processed chicken on the inside. Do you remember when you were a kid and McDonald's was good? It could have been because you were a child and kind of stupid and didn't know better. Or it could have also been that McDonald's was better back in the day. In any case, McDonald's used to have delicious chicken McNuggets. The chicken nuggets at Tito's took me back to that time in my childhood when an order of chicken McNuggets was heaven in a cardboard container. Except these nuggs at Tito's are even better! Anyway, our purpose for visiting Tito's was to taste a West Virginia dog. The WV dog comes with sauce, onions, mustard and coleslaw. It was really good, and apparently, this is one of the foods that the state is known for. We also got a chili cheese dog (good, but the cheese wasn't melted at all and would have been much better if it was), and a grilled cheese sandwich. The grilled cheese was great, my kid said. I think Tito's excels at grilled and deep-fried foods. And the reason why I say this is because we also got the fried cauliflower, and that, too, was excellent. The menu is large and handwritten on a white board. It's a little overwhelming -- there's a lot to choose from. But the people behind the counter are kind and patient.
