I'm an out-of-towner, come in from Chicago to take care of my parents, and I had a couple of busted molars that had been giving me trouble. Robinson Family Dental were able to get me in within a couple days of my calling them, and the fees for the xrays I had to get as well as the office visit (in order to receive antibiotics) were incredibly reasonable. And they were able to get me in very quickly for the extractions they recommended - barely four days from start to finish, all told. Everyone from Dr. Sowle himself and his hygienists (I saw Debbie today), to the staff at the front desk are incredibly friendly and helpful, and did everything in their power to make me, a nervous patient, feel comfortable. Even though they couldn't take my insurance, I'd see no problem traveling from Chicago to see them again if I have more work that needs to be done. Do note that they take payment at the time of sevice, and they do not accept CareCredit. But really, the prices were so fair that it really wasn't a big deal at all. The free consultation helped take a lot of the worry away. Thank you again for making my extractions as quick and painless as they were! Big bonus for the hummingbird feeder right outside the window!

He preserved what teeth were preservable, and I never felt pressured to get expensive or doubtful dental procedures. The dental procedures aren't painful, but I am careful to mention each visit that I have sensitive teeth and gums, and the staff takes that into account. Of course, the formerly painful cavities, cracked teeth, etc. have been fixed by now. I used to feel so pressured at dental clinics, and to never know when the dentist might be off his game that day, anxious to increase his / her monthly billings through not necessary procedures, or in a hurry to get to his golf game or whatever instead of being focused on MY TEETH! It's all different at Robinson Family Dental. Dr. Sowle and his staff are the Best!

When I asked them to explain why the vast difference, all I got was a bunch of double-speak and B.S. Ultimately, they had no answer at all, and just pointed to a different procedure code as the culprit. They would not lower the price to the first tooth removal. They were stumbling in answering me, wouldn't look me in the eye, and basically said, "The code # says this is the amount". Like robots. Stay away from these people. They won't quote a price at all, and you just have to accept whatever the bill is AFTER the work is done. VERY unprofessional and shady. Doc Abel or Dr. Brokhoff do the exact same procedure for $125.00. I will NEVER go back to them.

Plenty of parking in the lot. Courtney was my hygienist today and she was wonderful. She listened to my ramblings about how much I hate the dentist. She was mellow and I felt like she gave my teeth a very thorough cleaning. She was just the right combination of quiet and talkative during the cleaning. (my hygienist in California was very chatty and it's hard to answer questions with sharp instruments in your mouth). There is a tv on the ceiling so you can watch while you have your cleaning. Courtney caught on fast that the show on the History channel was about mass murderers (not a very calming show) and she switched the channel to ESPN for me. Next Dr Arnold (Bill) came in and introduced himself. He was great. Very down to earth and approachable. We chatted a bit about California and then he began his exam. Again, great exam and he gave me advice about some tooth sensitivity I have been experiencing. Next appointment is six months from now and even though I will still be freaked out, I won't be AS freaked out. Definitely recommend. If you have been putting off a dental exam, go see Dr Arnold.
