I see Dr. Bianca and I will just say that everything is top notch. Not only was my pain addressed, my blood glucose level started coming down naturally. I was on 3 medications and insulin. A couple of days after my second session, my glucose monitor went off in the middle of the night. Normally this happens when I have eaten something I shouldn't have and it was spiking. But, no. It was too low! Not believing it, I check with my finger prick monitor and it corroborated the reading. I was shocked. I have since stop one of my medications, cut one in half, and cut my insulin in half. I am very excited to continue treatment to see how much I will be able to come off of. Oh, and yes, my Fibromyalgia is doing better but I am more excited about the improvements in my diabetes. She recommended many supplements which I ended up purchasing from the practice, before doing my own research (that was my fault). Unfortunately, the follow up was a different story. When I mentioned the side effects I experienced from the supplements, there was no acknowledgement. Furthermore, I was suffering with a very significant headache and needed some stimulation in addition to the needles. When I inquired about this (since other methods of stimulation have been very effective for me with my previous acupuncturist in Houston), I felt very dismissed as the provider was quite eager to exit the room. At the end of the session, I was asked if I'm feeling better and when I was honest and said not really, the response I received was "do you do anything for yourself besides coming to acupuncture?" When I answered all the ways in which I practice wellness, the answer was "okay we'll see you next week" and was out the door before I knew it. Felt quite dismissed and not listened to, and unfortunately will not be returning. I wasn't going to post this review, but a few days later, my pain was getting severe enough to warrant driving to Houston in the middle of the week to meet with my previous acupuncturist who has been consistently attentive and helpful. I was reminded of what truly good bedside manner is and how important that is, not just because we pay a lot of money, but because it impacts our quality of life.

By then I feel like it's too much trouble to have them scoop back out the excess they "accidentally" put in the bag. Another incident of sketchy customer service is when we purchased numerous boxes (like more than 2 dozen) of moon cakes. They said they had enough in stock and offered to put them all in a large box for us. Once we got home, we realized they snuck in a few boxes of another slow selling, unpopular flavor b/c they ran out of the flavor we wanted. As far as products, first couple of visits we bought some great quality bulk bin items. A little pricey, but worth the premium. Then when we returned for subsequent visits to re-purchase same items, the products were clearly from a different source and of sub par quality. I don't think we'll be returning as we've given them fair opportunity to prove themselves worthy due to lack of consistent product quality and suffocating service.

I walked in and asked the receptionist if they could take me as a walk-in. She said yes and asked me which massage of the ones listed (with prices) on a big sign on the front of the reception desk. I chose the $85 90-minute combo, which was a 30-minute foot massage and 60-minute full-body massage. The receptionist immediately led me to a dim room with several stations in it. I sat on the low, broad reclining table that she indicated and took off my shoes and rolled up my pant legs. Within a minute, an older gentleman came in with the water for the foot massage. I laid back, he covered my arms with a thin towel and my eyes with a washcloth. Gentle piano music was playing. I had never had a foot massage before, and now I'll be getting them regularly. It was absolutely fantastic and so relaxing. When it was complete, he removed the washcloth from my eyes, said that it was time for the full massage, and left the room. I'm hard-of-hearing, so I didn't actually hear what he said and wasn't sure what to do. I looked at one of the other masseuses and asked if I should follow him, and she nodded yes. Again, the lighting was dim, and nice piano music was playing. He left the room so I could undress and get face-down under the sheet on the massage table. After a minute, he returned, and I got a fantastic massage for 60-minutes. When it was over, he removed the washcloth from my eyes and let me know. He then left the room so o could get dressed. When I returned to the lobby, he was waiting for me with a cup of water. Everyone was very nice and spoke very little, which was PERFECT for me.
