I would suggest checking in with the store before going and getting unlucky with all their manga being gone. (It's happened to me before lol) I will say the help isn't the best at times, as they frequently do sorting and rearranging of inventory, but when not busy, all of the staff are very nice and will helpfully explain anything to you!! The location is a little uncomfortable, but it's not too bad and there is a really good restaurant next door! Also need to clarify: they don't only sell manga, they have a large variety of things like anime merchandise, art books, cds and dvds, posters, plushies, and lots of gaming/ trading cards!

By the end of our visit we had to pick up some items to help build up my pre-schooler's budding Pokemon collection and something for big sis too. The shop was well organized and had so much more than just comics -- from building models to artwork by local artists. It also feels like a real community space, hosting events and meetups on different nights, which makes it even more special. My child absolutely fell in love with this place, and honestly, so did I. A good showing here and well curated that shows they get it, without seeming like they're "too" interested in the odd hyper price hike cash grab in the space in some of the fandom frenzy areas. I was just browsing and didn't have any questions or requests from the staff, but based on interactions with others, they know their stuff. This is not a surface-level, small store where they display a tiny collection. They have almost everything. I think that's the most important thing you need to know about this place. I did notice the retro consoles and games like the SNES are priced quite steeply here. They are rare to come by in Northern Virginia, so I'd expect that.

I asked if they would come down to market price and was told they never come down on price Needless to say I walked out and hit buy from TCG on my phone. As others have noted - this is a pretty small store. It might be the smallest comic book store I've seen in the area. But - small is not necessarily a negative. They have a good selection of comics. They also have a small selection of D&D books and dice.
