5 star experience all the way around!!! This was an experience not just a performance! The set, the dancers, the message, the sound, and lighting were so on point. The rain and lightning literally beginning outside the pavilion as the opening act started in the rainforest was almost on cue and totally coincidental but wow!!! Added the breeze, the rain, the feeling we were all sitting in the rainforest with the troupe.

Great music by Philadelphia Orchestra. Although it's hot outside, it's pretty cool in the seating area due to big ceiling fans. Going home from parking lots can be a hassle. I recommend parking near the exit

I enjoyed my first event at The Mann Center last weekend where I got to see Cynthia Erivo perform with The Philadelphia Orchestra. The venue is stunning - a beautifully situated, open-air amphitheater that feels just as inviting as it is open. Having been to handfuls of event spaces, The Mann has so many pros. I was pleasantly surprised by the free parking that is offered (as well as paid parking for those who want to park closer to the venue instead of taking a short walk up to it.) This made my fairly priced ticket an even sweeter deal, though the chaos of having to get out of the venue after was less fun. (With single roads taking you into The Mann, it's challenging to easily get out if you drive in. Be ready to practice a little patience.) Although I didn't buy concessions, I was impressed by the variety. Many people seated around me enjoyed wine, beer, popcorn, and even Rita's water ice. It was a hot day so the presence of Rita's was a huge hit! One tip - you can bring in with you a sealed/never opened 16oz water bottle. Take advantage! The seats were actually comfortable and I didn't feel like I was on top of the people next to me as I normally do at less modern theatres. This made it easy to enjoy myself. Sightlines from my seat in row LL were great, though children around me struggled to see despite the pitched seating arrangement. The ones around me resorted to sitting on their parents lap to properly see over the adults, so parents plan accordingly! The sound quality was very good overall. Because it's open air, if there's ambulances or fireworks (in our case) going off nearby, you will hear it, but the venue is very immersive. I appreciate the cool design they have to the stage that allows performers to literally walk out and between the front sections. Cynthia took advantage of this and I was envious of those who paid to be closer for the amazing shots they got! The staff working at The Mann during my visit were extremely helpful and pleasant. I really enjoyed my time and look forward to other offerings to find an excuse to come back again!

What an amazing venue! We were on Vacation and had concert tickets and it was an amazing experience. Loved the water stations, good restrooms, and some decent vendor and food options. Service was great at the gates, during the venue, and departing. Such a great outdoors venue and some great views too. Would recommend attending a show or event here. We took a ride share to and from but could have easily driven as parking did not seem to be an issue. I went to guest services and was able to get a pair of earplugs which was nice.

This is my second event here and the venue is awesome!!! I love how smoothly events run and how awesome the staff is. There is always someone friendly around to guide you to where you're supposed to be. The food vendors are a nice touch and the pavilion is just fantastic. I can't wait to attend other events her.

I forgot just how wonderful it is here. My boyfriend and I decided to enjoy a concert on a Thursday night. We had tickets for seats but there weren't covered. We walked around and got drinks since we ate dinner before we left the house. Found our seats which were surprisingly comfortable and enjoyed a wonderful show! All of the staff we dealt with were very friendly. It was a nice night!

My daughter and I attended the BalletX at the Manns Center. This place is fabulous. The performance was magnificent! The food service looked amazing and the appeared in order. The seating was great, even in the rainy weather.

Beautiful venue bringing in some of the top touring acts during the summer and fall months. I found myself there twice in one week for a Death Cab/Postal Service show and then the boygenius show the weekend after. I sat on the lawn for both concerts and had wildly different experiences on both occasions, though I think that had more to do with the crowd sizes and demographics than anything else. The Death Cab show was one of the best concert going experiences I've ever had. Kind security staff, unlimited popcorn refills, great crowd, and timely transport from Fairmount utilizing the Mann Loop via Septa. Look into this if you're looking for great public transit options from center city! The boygenius show vibes were a little off. Much younger crowd which I don't fault the Mann for, but insane lines for merch and food. It seems like they could potentially rearrange based on shows or something? Not a soul in the cocktail lines and it seems like there could have been better utilizations of the booths. The lawn was way oversold and you truly could not see a thing. There were no screens working for the opener either which was a huge bummer. Gorgeous views of the city and I know for next time to always go for under the dome seating. Looking forward to my best experience here!

Love this place, parking is a bear but great venue for a show. Food options are not to abundant , but what they have is not that bad. Pricey!!!!!

Awesome venue to see a show, especially with younger kids who want to see their favorite artists at an all ages show. Plus grownups can get drinks!! Pricey drinks but hey, can't win them all. We've seen Maggie Rogers here twice in 2019 & 2023 and my now 9 year old had the best time on each occasion. Parking is a bitch, it's easy to get in but lord help you when you're leaving. They try their best. It's just an impossible cluster fck that can't be helped!

Main stage . Pretty roomy seating! View from the second to last section.

I've been to the man twice in the past 2 years. I like this location compared to the other venues that are deeper in the city. It's much easier to commute here from the suburbs and far less traffic leaving! All the event staff I have ever interacted with has been stellar ! Honestly very sweet. I do wish they had a little better communication regarding weather. I knew the event was rain or shine and understood that going into it. I was prepared to brave the rain and found out that it got moved to the covered pavilion rather than the original skyline stage. It was nice not being in the rain but communication would have been nice. There were also many vendors and things happening above the main stage that were a bit inconvenient to walk to and from because of that. Also had a hot dog at their grill - the one that's on the side of the main stage. Absolutely disgusting. Had a rock hard piece of something in it and it was sooo dry it was gross. I won't knock down the score for that - just stay away from food and it's great. Good parking, good stage, good staff, nice bathrooms and the ease of coming and going makes it all worth it!

    Cynthia Erivo

The TD Pavilion at the Mann is one of the best outdoor venues in Philly. I was there on 6/21/25 to see Cynthia Erivo. The sound quality is good, restrooms were clean, and though expensive, they offer good food & drink options. I took public transportation so can't speak on the parking situation. If you have the chance to see a concert at the Mann do it!

Could use more fans. Hot in here under this tent. Nice vendor selections for drinks and food. Decent restrooms. Seats roomy all things considered.

That was my favorite part, how interesting walking through each room was. Unfortunately, the service and food were problematic. We had a group, not huge by any means, but the group gratuity became an annoyance following the service. Most importantly, multiple people in the table were served undercooked fish--the inside of their salmon was completely raw. One of these guests also had a severe allergy, and was still given plates with that allergen after alerting the server multiple times. One of the pomegranate margaritas we got was undrinkably spicy. The staff did replace the salmon, but it was sad to see multiple members of our group get cold and undercooked food. Furthermore, our table set the reservation during the Fearless Restaurant week--but when we asked for the special menu advertised online, our server had no clue what we were talking about. He had to ask us what the items on the prix fixe menu were. And after all that, the multiple drinks each person at our table got, the mid-level set price for the 3-course special, we were still hungry. The portions for the fearless menu were really small. But, due to their menu prices, rather than order more I went home for a second dinner. I really wanted to like this restaurant, but I'm disappointed and underwhelmed. The food was alright, but not for the price and experience we got.

It had a fresh mix of bands that I either haven't seen on the house show circuit before, or where mixing it up at a new house for the first time. But I've heard nothing but good things and they've played with some great bands like Agent Moosehead and Saudi Arabia. Looks like there are no shows coming up in May, but definitely try to scope the venue out on Mysapce to see what their cooking up for June.

The upstairs area has a chill vibe with some Mario-themed art as well as a TV. It seems that the kitchen is upstairs, so a lot of waiters were flying by out table to the staircase. Our waiter was pretty chill. Apparently an O's fan, he was excited to learn we're from Baltimore. Food was all fantastic. The style of fries isn't my preference, but they were decent. Other than that, I was blown away. Child #1 and Child #2 got some items from the Kids' menu - grilled cheese and cheeseburger. Bread and Butter appetizer. Is it expensive for just being bread and butter? Yes. Is it worth it? Also yes. The homemade bread is great, but combine it with honey butter with flaky salt, and it's incredible. Loads of reviews on Yelp talked about the sausage roll. GET IT. It's greasy and filling in all the right ways. Goes great with a beer. My wife got the burger and she found it to be very tasty. I got the Grilled Maitake Mushrooms dish and holy cow; it's perfect. Even if you're not a vegetarian (I'm not), you can appreciate this dish: crispy rice cake (not the dry kind from the store), tender baby bok choy, and of course the well-cooked mushrooms are tied together with black vinegar, garlic-whipped tofu (!), and a peanut sauce. A++ would absolutely get again. The food menu has some staples, but overall it does change nightly, so make sure you check it out before you come. Apparently, on Sundays, they do a different experimental flavor of wings. I was curious, but my stomach has only so much room, so I had to draw the line. There is a respectable drink menu.
