This review is for my daughters wedding and reception…read more Working with the Union 12 team was easy. They were professional and very helpful in setting up our event. The staff was responsive to calls and emails when we needed information, making decisions and ironing out the final details. Union 12 facility is not inexpensive. However we feel like they gave us a very good value and the ultimate experience was excellent. I could use a lot of words to describe their facility. I have attached pictures you can review along with their web sites. Overall the facility, grounds and bridal suite were in very good repair and attractively designed. The facility is very welcoming and allows your guests to feel comfortable quickly. The outside seating area is so what small but can easily handle 200+ people. The covering is nice to help protect against the weather. The chairs are comfortable. They gave a couple arches that you can choose from for a back drop. The bridal suite is nice. It's not overly spacious. It could be uncomfortable if you have much more than 7-8 bridesmaids. The lower level has a nice kitchen to make your day long preparation more comfortable. The kitchen isn't stocked with utensils so bring your own. The upstairs is meant for groomsmen to get ready. This area is rather small and somewhat uncomfortable due to the low ceilings and small rooms. The facility grounds are very nice and welcoming. The fire put, pond lawn areas and seating areas are nice. The outdoor lighting is very attractive especially at night. There is a decent amount of parking. The signage on the road is very poor. It is easy to drive right past the facility if you aren't careful. The inside the facility is wide open. The balcony is easy to access as there are two staircases. The balcony is close to the head table area for good viewing. The bar is compact but strategically located. It can get pretty crowded at the bar area as this is where the staircase comes out. On this occasion our buffet line was near the bar as well. The side room has a fair amount of seating. People in the far back corner don't have a very good view of the head table area. The dance floor was in good condition. If you have a lot of tables you will need to take down tables to make enough space to dance. The bar service is very good. They had ample help to move drinks for our 200 people. They provide water and lemonade self serve containers. We purchase the package that provided beer, wine and vodka. This turned out to be sufficient for most all people. The bar staff was very friendly and efficient. Union 12 provided us the a coordinator for the whole day. Olivia did an outstanding job helping us all day long to get everything in the perfect place and the right time. Olivia was outstanding at keeping things clean...even when the dancers got sloppy with their drinks. Well done Olivia!! Overall...our day was outstanding. Union 12 was a large part of making our guests feel comfortable and welcome. Union 12 did an outstanding job and helping our family prepare for and execute on tfd

"I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Ceruti's Catering! From start to finish,…read morethey made everything so easy, but the real star was the food--it was absolutely incredible. We had the beef brisket and almond chicken, and our guests are still raving about how tender and perfectly cooked everything was. Even with a large crowd, the hot food stayed hot and the salads were crisp and fresh. We also opted for the queso, which was a massive hit, and the chocolate fountain for dessert was the perfect 'wow' factor. The staff was professional especially Dominic hatton, efficient, and so attentive to our needs. If you want delicious food that your guests will actually remember, I highly recommend booking them for your next event!"

It's beautiful without feeling overdone, and it has such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Jennifer was honestly amazing to work with. She kept us organized, answered emails quickly, and made the whole process feel manageable instead of overwhelming. She has such a calm and professional presence, which was exactly what we needed during wedding planning. On the day of the wedding, everything ran so smoothly, and we didn't have to worry about a single thing. One of our favorite parts was how seamlessly everything flowed. The transition from ceremony to reception felt natural, and our guests were comfortable the entire evening. We received so many compliments about the space and how well everything was set up. If you're considering The Eden, book the tour. It was the best decision we made, and we're so grateful to Jennifer and the entire team for making our day unforgettable.

My son and daughter-in-law just got married and chose The Eden..... 1. It's WAY out there, w/nothing around. Just in case you forget something. 2. Not a good setup. Girls prep area doesn't have a restroom?? Not enough outlets for curling irons, steamers, etc. There's a barn door between the staff area and the girls' prep area that doesn't close well. No privacy. The guys area is a joke. They get the bar area and then hurry up and pick up before your guests get there. 3. The bathrooms are filthy, and the lighting in the women's restroom is terrible. 4. Appetizers were served during happy hour. The table, which was devoured, was left that way until after dinner. It needed to be picked up and removed. This is where I needed my camera. Meat on the floor..... 5. Outside wedding - but no one mowed...? Really. Becareful if you are outside - ruff terrain. Not good for elderly guests. 6. BUT THE TRUE KICKER WAS..... air conditioning not working during a 90-degree day.... it was miserable. Thank God my kids were happy. But the next ones in line said, "Not a chance, would I pick that place". Good luck to those of you that have already booked.

After searching 3 months for a photographer, I booked my wedding with Portrait of a Lady owner…read moreLauren about a year before our wedding. Lauren was my favorite vendor during my wedding planning experience! She always displayed a high level of professionalism, grace, and care regarding her services for the wedding. During my countdown after booking, Lauren kept in touch with me monthly to see if I had any questions, concerns, or ideas - even with a year out. She offered to assist me in anyway since I was planning a out-of-town wedding, which I did take her up on a few times! I was able to view weddings she was doing and it was helpful to see the different types of wedding she did (location, budget, themes) as well as how she was maturing in her artform. Lauren improves her craft often by updating her equipment, improving packaging for products, and participating in educational opportunities in photography. Her prices were reasonable and allowed me to change my package several times without one complaint. On our wedding day, Lauren and her assistant (her husband, but she has others who serve in this role) was on time, friendly with our guests, and took many great photos. Lauren was very flexible, professional, and low-key. I loved that she was not pushy or forceful on photo opps. She didn't miss any key photos that I had asked her to take (even those few I had completely forgot I told her about!) and I was able to get a full reflection of the entire day. She captured our personality as a couple and did an excellent job doing the same for our wedding. Within 3 days, she had a preview up on the Portrait of a Lady Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/portraitofaladyphotography) and within 3-4 weeks, a full feature of highlights up. This took a lot of the guesswork out of what our photos look like and didn't keep us waiting for long for final product (4 weeks for the photo cd). Many of our guests commented on how great Lauren was during she wedding and was very impressed with her final products. So much so that one of our bridesmaids has since had photos taken by Lauren a few months later! I plan to use Lauren in the future (maternity, family, baby, etc), as so many of her client do as well. There is so much more positive things I could say about Lauren and Portrait of a Lady! Thanks Lauren at Portrait of a Lady! You made my wedding special and our photos perfect!
