The Eden completely exceeded our expectations. We toured several venues, and nothing else compared once we stepped onto the property. It's beautiful without feeling overdone, and it has such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Jennifer was honestly amazing to work with. She kept us organized, answered emails quickly, and made the whole process feel manageable instead of overwhelming. She has such a calm and professional presence, which was exactly what we needed during wedding planning. On the day of the wedding, everything ran so smoothly, and we didn't have to worry about a single thing. One of our favorite parts was how seamlessly everything flowed. The transition from ceremony to reception felt natural, and our guests were comfortable the entire evening. We received so many compliments about the space and how well everything was set up. It's not a venue I would recommend. There were many things that stood out to me that I wish I would have now taken pictures and shared. My son and daughter-in-law just got married and chose The Eden..... 1. It's WAY out there, w/nothing around. Just in case you forget something. 2. Not a good setup. Girls prep area doesn't have a restroom?? Not enough outlets for curling irons, steamers, etc. There's a barn door between the staff area and the girls' prep area that doesn't close well. No privacy. The guys area is a joke. They get the bar area and then hurry up and pick up before your guests get there. 3. The bathrooms are filthy, and the lighting in the women's restroom is terrible. 4. Appetizers were served during happy hour. The table, which was devoured, was left that way until after dinner. It needed to be picked up and removed. This is where I needed my camera. Meat on the floor..... 5. Outside wedding - but no one mowed...? Really. Becareful if you are outside - ruff terrain. Not good for elderly guests. 6. BUT THE TRUE KICKER WAS..... air conditioning not working during a 90-degree day.... it was miserable. Thank God my kids were happy. We booked our upcoming wedding with The Eden and have already blown away. Every single step has been a breeze so far. The event manager takes time to answer questions, and makes us feel like we're the only event she's focused on. It's been a dream, so far. Plus, they offer sooo much! You're seriously missing out if you don't, at least, go for a tour. read more

The Eden was the perfect decision for us for our wedding. We are from out of town, and put on a wedding in a central location between our two families in Iowa and Michigan, so the fact that The Eden provides services for so much of the events of the day was key to reducing our stress, both in planning and day-of coordination. Cayli & Taylea were both amazing in their help and dedication to our special day. We had all of our flowers done with Cayli, who met with us to build the perfect bouquet design (not too unstructured, including sunflowers, blue hydrangeas, and white roses) and table vase designs. We chose the Taco Bar package, which all of our guests were raving about during and after. Taylea met with us prior to the wedding to plan the table and chair set-up, as well as the small details like the linen colors. So many options! She was also there from the time we were allowed access at 8am to when we left at about 11:00pm, helping in any way that she could! read more

Attended my grandson's wedding at the Eden on Sept. 29, 2023. The Eden could have been better prepared for an outdoor wedding. The grass could have been cut since you had to walk in the grass to get to the chairs. That way you could see the holes so you wouldn't fall. One of the grandmothers fell when she stepped into a hole in the grass. (She was sore the next day with bruises on her side.) They need to cement a walkway to the area where the wedding was supposed to be held. Also, a couple of golf carts to take anyone that had walking issues. read more

There where so many things that made me give this review and I will never recommend the Eden to anyone!! Where do I start 1. The food was not hot, it was barely warm (that is being generous). I was at the serving table when a new pan of food came out and was the first to get a serving from that pan. You would think you could see steam or feel heat coming off the pan. 2. I went to grab a plate to get my food and it was dirty, still had food on it from how many weddings ago. That is disgusting!! 3.The toilets where not working in the womens restroom, management was in there and she just looked at me when I said something about the facilities. 4. Our dirty dishes sat in front of us for atleast 2 hours, when they where picked up management slammed them in the bus pan next to my husband you has very sensitive ears. If you have attitude, dont take out on the guest 5. Guests where wrapped around the dance floor waiting in line to get their food. Management knew the reservation number, so another serving line should have been set up. 6. When management is sending guests to the serving line smile and be friendly, dont glare at the guest when they walk by you. Negative impression representing the facility, when you could have possible future couples. Finally.. this is a couples special day, you should be doing what you can to make the couple feel special along with respecting their guests. Management needs to take responsibility for their faults and stop making the same excuse of "its everyone else's fault." I pray that another bride does not cry at her reception because of your actions. read more
